>> we have developing news out of the feltonville section of philadelphia. the action cam was at the scene earlier this morning the rite aid parking lot. a fistfight took place that left a man critically injured. the victim in his 20s was taken to temple university hospital. another man is being treated at temple for injuries that are non-life threatening. no word on what led to the fight and no arrests. 6:00 a.m. on this sunday october 11. in the news, the feel of fall

days. >> new this morning, a man was shot and killed in the street in the tioga section of philadelphia. police looking for the killer right now. the man was founded wound at park avenue annie street. police found the victim alive, but he could not be saved. investigators are sorting out what led up to the gunfire. >> turning to the race, democrat bernie sanders campaigning in the colorado. in the wake of the recent college shootings he focused his message on gun control. >> poll after poll, gun owners and nongun owners believe in common sense approaches which make sure that we keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have those guns. >> how many people have to die? >> hillary clinton did not hold any public events yesterday she called for stricter background checks.

you're not dealing with the windchill like we had yesterday. temperatures are dropping. we're down to 49 in philadelphia. dewpoint, 42, the wind are calm the pressure reading is falling. take a look at allentown, down to 39 now, they are colder in the lehigh valley than the mountains. millville, 38, and wilmington, 44. temperatures are running anywhere from 5 to 15, 16 degrees colder than yesterday. which was ten to 15 degrees colder than the day before. the numbers continue to trend down here. tomorrow we see everything climb again. you get the idea we have the fall chill moving in. high pressure is planted over top of us, that means, that's terrible, we should try that again. with the high over top of us it will prevent any storm systems from heading up the eastern

seaboard. we'll stay dry, bright blue skies and sunshine and comfortable temperatures. there's nothing going on of we have this storm here, this brought another one to three inches of rain to south carolina which saw two to three feet of rain last weekend. that storm is moving out to sea. we'll not see any impacts from that. we'll have an area of high pressure from here, it will spread out ward in all directions. that means the high takes over, the weather stays nice and quiet across the lower 48. the only thing we're tracking is this front here this will sneak through before the high sprawls out ward. winds out of the southwest at 35 to so miles per hour. up to 70 degrees, for monday, with the approaching front we'll get milder, 74 or 75. tuesday morning a couple of showers pull through and then this front kicks everything out to sea from this point on it's quiet for the entire seven-day forecast.

in lake tahoe looking into why a plane crashed into a home this weekend. two people were on the small plane. their fate has not been confirmed. the plane had taken off from the take tahoe airport when it crashed and caused a brief fire. a bomb blast in average injured three afghan civilians.

device attached to a car in south philadelphia. the bomb squad checked out the device at 10th and oregon. whatever it was turned out to be harmless. investigators think it was a prank. backup batteries were to blame for the evacuation of the new castle county public safety buildings. an odor filled the building and low level carbon monoxide was detected. the source were back up batteries stored in the buildings. they were removed and everyone was allowed back in the building. vince mazzeo-

let's go live on sky 6. there's the view in cape may. it's a beautiful morning out there, although it is chilly. yesterday we had temperatures a good ten to 15 degrees warmer than what we're seeing right now. the difference is we had a gusty wind yesterday, as well. even though it's colder, it may not feel as bad as yesterday. kind of pick your poison here, right? let's go over to the numbers, 70 degrees is the high temperature we're expecting today, which is two degrees above the season average of 68. the low is 48 degrees which is two degrees cooler than the normal low. some of the areas have dropped in the 30s which is the coldest we've seen in 6 months. case in point, allentown. 39 degrees, the last time they hit 39 or lower was in the beginning of april. dover, 44 degrees. wind speeds, we don't have any. they are calm, poconos 5 miles

per hour. satellite and radar, along with the calm, cripples morning we have clear -- crisp morning, we're seeing clear conditions. west to east across the keystone state into the garden state we're in the clear. most of the lower 48 is enjoying clear weather. as well. the area of low pressure is spinning its wheels across the carolinas. that high is bumping to our south. it's going to roar up the east coast and make a beeline toward bermuda and head out to sea. the entire southeastern seaboard is dry. from philadelphia all the way down to the panhandle of florida, next few days looks quiet. temperatures will warm up. it's chilly right now. later this afternoon, 69, 70 degrees, not too bad. wall-to-wall blue skies, a ton of sunshine. chilly overnight tonight.
