speculation about vice-president joe biden and his political intentions. biden has run for president twice before, but there will be no third time. there will be no charm. it is wednesday night and the big story on "action news" tonight is a no-go by vice-president biden. he came to the rose garden with his boss and his wife today to say that the window had closed on his chance to mount a viable campaign. he explained that mourning the death of his son, his son bo didn't necessarily sync up with the political calendar and he said "unfortunately i believe we're out of time." but biden then spoke at considerable length about his vision for future. for carrying on the obama legacy and the need to change the culture in washington. >> how can we move forward without being able to arrive to a consensus.

mystery tonight in tacony section. a man was shot to death on walker street. at this point the police say they have no motive, nor suspects. the investigation continues into the death of 3-year-old brendan creato in haddon township. he was found dead in the woods a week ago today, three hours after his father reported him missing. "action news" reporter, annie mccormick, is live at the camden country prosecutor's office tonight. annie, what is the latest on the effort to unravel this mystery? >> jim, late this afternoon the prosecutor's office released new information saying there were no signs of forced entry or steexu assault. more than a week since the boy was discovered, his viewing tomorrow. at this point no arrests. tonight the memorial at cooper river park for 3-year-old brendan creato has grown since the discovery of his body in the woods near there october 13. today the defense attorney spoke

on behalf of his client, brendan's father, d.j. creato. >> he is crest-fallen, very upset. and i think those words don't do justice to the feelings he has. >> and they say that creato is not a suspect saying that he fully cooperated. the detectives interviewed him the day his son was found. >> he wants to be as helpful as coand answered all the questions. >> calling 911 at 6:00 a.m. that tuesday telling the operator that he thought his son wandered off from his handon township overnight. the police dog found the toddler three hours later a half mile from his father's home. he shared custody with brendan's mother. results from last week's autopsy are still pending. the toxicology results could take up to a month. the prosecutor's office had a message to residents releasing information that there were no signs of forced entry or sexual assault. that did little to ease concerns for some parents who live there. >> maybe a little bit, but there

are still no answers. the whole town wants answers. >> and d.j. creato's defense attorney tells us it is the camden county prosecutor's office tells him that his client is not a suspect. and they say it is an ongoing investigation and ask anyone with information though come forward. and the police say they nabbed one of the suspects seen on surveillance video involved in last week's armed robbery of temple university students. robert sherrill earned arrest tonight. the police say his alleged acost police, 19 anthony graves is still at large. there is a new wrinkle in the national conversation about guns. more and more women are taking up arms.
