democrat drops out of the race for the white house, an owl has landed. we are live on campus for temple's historic undefeated record. but the big story is the run of fall-like conditions just in time for the weekend. we have plenty of sunshine but breezy and seasonable with temperatures set to drop tonight. melissa magee is in for david and has an accuweather preview for us. >> you with definitely feel the change, yesterday we had high temperatures in the 70s and right now we are sitting in the 60s in a good chunk of region, 62 in philadelphia, 60 in trenton and beach haven, in the poconos only 47, it's chilly in reading and temperatures there in the upper 50s, here is what is going on, satellite 6 along with action radar showing you the cold front coming through last night, there was not a lot of precipitation associated with

the front and that is sagging to the south and east and high pressure over canada will continue to nose south ward bringing with it cooler air just in time for the weekend. checking out the sustained wind speeds, from 13 miles per hour in the poconos to 13 in dover, 14 out to the west in lancaster, a current wind speed in philadelphia of 10 miles per hour. the northwest wind helps to bring down cooler air and breezy conditions as well. if you are stepping out later on this afternoon. 3:00 p.m., 61 under a mostly sunny skies and 60 at 5:00 p.m. and 50 is the number at 9:00 p.m. tonight underneath a partly cloudy skies it's breezy and cooler on our friday with temperatures back down into the 60s, we are tracking showers for the second half of our weekend, we'll talk about all of those details in the full accuweather forecast. the temple owls have done it

township last week. a mass was held for brendon creato this morning. his father reported him missing and police found him in a wooded area near his home hours later. no arrests have been made as investigators try to piece together brendon's final moments. a gushing water main break left new york city streets under water this morning, construction crews accidentally struck the main in queens, the work site was quickly flooded but no workers were hurt, the water seeped into the surrounding areas and officials evacuated several buildings. >> a big change is coming to some of philadelphia's most popular running trails as we speak mayor nutter is announcing a new network of bottle filling stations that will stretch along kelly drive, there are traditional drinking fountains and a wells for dogs, four

another american college campus is the scene of deadly gun fire, a shooter killed two people and wounded four others everybody the 19-year-old that was killed was not enrolled in the school and the three women wounded were walking by the scene. the gunman is still at large, authorities are calling this an isolated shooting incident over a dice game. and gun fire wounded three people across from tennessee state a week ago. hurricane patricia is the strongest hurricane ever reports in the western hemisphere, it's expected to make landfall along

mexico's coast later today. it has maximum sustained winds of 200 miles per hour and powerful enough to lift automobiles and drag along people caught outside. it will effect texas resident this weekend. 43 people were killed when their tour bus collided with a truck in northwest france, the majority were retirees on a trip to wine country. three people including the bus driver managed to escape. the truck driver and a child passenger was also killed. this is france's deadliest road accident in 30-years. master sergeant joshua wheeler was killed during a

outside. sky 6 hd live in atlantic city looking at the back bays, we have a bright blue sky overhead but a sustained wind across it's region, keep that in mind because it will be cooler today compared to yesterday. in philadelphia lower 60s and the dew point 35, the air is nice and dry, the winds are out of the north bringing in the cooler air pressure is in control, the upper 50s in the northwest suburbs from lancaster to allentown and 60 in trenton and 59 along the coast in cape may. here is satellite 6 along with action radar we are tracking what we had late last night, the cold front moving to the south and east and high pressure over canada will continue to nose southward as we go throughout the weekend and the winds around this high are clockwise and we pull down the cooler than average air.

children. a north jersey community are on edge because of offense flyers that showed up in a neighborhood and more information from florida where a music from the community was shot and killed by police. and parents when to school demanding more protection for students following a letter that went home. it was an adult making threats against students on school property. david henry is live at taylor elementary with the full story. >> parents say that a woman threatened their children with a gun outside of their school yesterday and this morning they were alarmed to find no police presence despite assurances from the school principal. >> my grandson was threatened with a gun and now he doesn't want to come to school. >> parents were alarmed when they got this letter yesterday,
