stage, espn's college game day is in town and temple football and temple university will get more national publicity in the next 30 hours than they have in years. espn is already broadcast from this set but tomorrow morning it's going to be a madhouse with thousands of temple students forming the backdrop. live at the scene tonight as "action news" reporter eva pilgrim. eva, it will be college football mayhem on market street. >> jim, it is already starting to feel crazy. the count down is on. the excitement only continues to climb as the home team, the undefeated temple owls get ready to take on the fighting irish of notre dame. the game day set is up and trash talking is already going down. >> go irish. >> go irish. >> who would have thought it would be the season temple would health our season for the end of the year. >> notre dame reasons for halloween.

>> reporter: market street is closed between fifth and sixth for the festivities. on temple's cam. >> t for tell me pull u, university. >> reporter: it's all about the cherry and white. >> this is amazing. like i would never expect this. >> reporter: the rush for temple gear crashed the school's web site. for now the bookstore is the place to go. >> getting some gear for the college game day. >> i'm look forward to represent the school and pants to keep me warm. >> i'm going wear a hoodie and hold back the excitement. my adrenaline is pumping keeping me warm. >> reporter: these students are trying to make the most of temple's game day appearance. figuring out a good sign has been top priority for many. the goal, to get their sign on tv. >> everyone's coming in really excited to talk about their signs and we get a lot of do you get the jokes? yeah we get the jokes. the graphic design center in the student center offered a major sale to make sure the signs look good. >> this is my part-time job. it feels like a full-time job

temperatures were in the 70's. today's high dropped down to 60 degrees. that is that's 2 degrees below normal and we're 9 degrees cooler right now than 24 hours ago and areas to the south even cooler in comparison. millville 12 degrees cooler than yesterday at this time, wildwood, atlantic city airport, 13 degrees cooler and it's going to be clear tonight. satellite6 along with action radar showing there's high pressure out to the west. what that high pressure will do is move to the east and that will allow more clouds to stream in late in the day tomorrow. future tracker showing 9 o'clock tomorrow morning we have bright sunshine but as the day wears on, those clouds will be creeping in. again, no moisture in those clouds no, rain, so it will be dry and what those clouds will do is really keep temperatures from dropping too much tomorrow night. so, the halloween evening forecast fore trick-or-treaters and if you're heading to the temple game great football weather and pretty nice trick-or-treating weather. lots of clouds but dry, temperature in the low 50's but as we head towards the

tried to flee, one officer accidentally ran over the other officer's with a police cruiser. the officer was taken to the hospital with ankle and leg pain. the suspect was taken into custody. five juveniles under arrest tonight in connection with a melee that left four allentown police officers injured. officers received several calls about a fight involving more than a hundred juveniles yesterday afternoon. police responded to the scene on 15th street at 3 o'clock. police say an officer was punched in the face by a female juvenile. three other officers also suffered injuries. two will to be treated at the hospital. five juveniles face charges ranging from aggravated assault to disorderly conduct. as the investigation into the death of three-year-old brendan creato nears three weeks, there's some disturbing social media posts that have come to light. the girlfriend of brendan's father has allegedly posted that she may be facing charges in connection with a murder

investigation. and she says creato may be in even more trouble. brendan creato disappeared from his father's haddon township apartment on the morning of october 13th and was found dead a few hours later. the coroner is waiting for lab results before determining exactly how the boy died. police in new castle county delaware are trying to solve a particularly lane us in crime. especially so because the theft avenue bicycle has grounded two young children, one with some very special needs. the thief stole the bike and attached baby sight seat from the home on keim drive in new castle. it belongs to avid cyclist doug saint a.m. planneamand. >> my kids love going on bike rides. my son having down's syndrome loves to enjoy the outdoors. >> it's mon goose 21 speed mountain bike with a gray child seat on the back. police are hoping one of the neighbors might have captured

the crime on surveillance video. authorities in lycoming county pennsylvania say the last of that wayward blimp will be removed from the woods over the weekend. they were back at it today in moreland township removing sections of the military surveillance blimp which escaped its moorings on wednesday in maryland. it drift fred maryland to central pennsylvania before it came down. the sensitive radar inside the blimp was reportedly removed today. helicopters will lift the huge hull tomorrow. the manayunk bridge reopened today to walkers runners and cyclists. the span over the schuylkill river and i-76 has been closed for nearly 30 years and they were celebrating today. the former railroad bridge connects lower merion's cynwyd heritage trail with main street in manayunk. funding for the almost 6 million-dollar project came from state and local grants. a former student of the glen mills school in delaware county is giving back.

lance bachman owner of 1seo.com a digital marketing agency has donated a new computer lab with 20 computers. bachman was a student at glen mills in 1989 and 1990. he says the school left hand him understand the consequences of his choices. glen mills is a residential facility for troubled youth. coming up on "action news tonight a 13-year-old from mays landing is battling cancer but that's not the only thing on his mind tonight. ahead, his plea to help -- plea that has gone viral online. plus the heated competition involving engineering students and pumpkins. cecily tynan comes back with the seven day accuweather forecast and ducis rodgers with more on temple-notre dame when "action news" continues tonight.

"action news" reporter christie all leto talked to dylan today and the plan who is coming to his rescue. >> it's scary. >> reporter: his request was simple but desperate. >> we have nothing to eaton night and i wanted to ask if anybody could help us for tonight and tomorrow night. >> reporter: cancer patient dylan kenny's plea immediately goes viral. what prompted you to do that. >> i mean, i know that i'm a 13-year-old doesn't mean i can't help out my family. >> reporter: dylan's parents say for a third time he's battling a type of tumor in

the bones and tissue. his mother says they rely on federal assistance while in between jobs to support their family of seven. all while making a drive from mays landing to nemours a.i. dupont hospital in wilmington fordylan's treatment. >> to go and beg people online can you help me because i don't have food today, i don't have a way to go get my son to the hospital. >> reporter: it didn't take long foradil ran's plea to catch the ears of those who wanted to help including one man who founded a nonprofit to help those battling cancer. >> when i saw the video i was shocked. >> reporter: after learning dylan's circumstances were real he went to the store to help not knowing he would receive help of his own. >> we were getting ready to pay a random stranger guardian angel walked up and handled the the cab shear $100. >> reporter: helping pay for one month's worth of groceries for the kennies did you think your video was going get this
