killed a woman. the action cam was at the plymouth rock apartments in the 1900 block of sandy hill road. firefighters got their first call before 10:30, when they arrived they found towering flames spitting out of the buildings and a woman trapped on the second floor balcony. that woman found a wall of smoke and ran to the balcony and called 911 and waited for firefighters to reach her. >> they put a ladder up and they climbed up and helped me get on a chair and climb down the ladder. i had nothing but my pants and shirt and no sox or shoes, someone loaned me my shoes. i probably lost everything. >> the body of the woman who died was found in her burned apartment, her fiance who was living with her triedle several times to reach her, but was

turned back by smoke and flames. the building did not have sprinklers. the red cross is finding temporary shelter for 26 people. there's no word on a cause. temple football fans watched their team's thrills and agony of defeat. they lost 24-20 to power house notre dame at a jammed packed link. they they almost won the game and rallied to trach the lead in the 4th quarter. it was up to the defense to hold that lead, but they could not. notre dame went ahead on a touchdown catch. temple's final chance, there you see it was intercepted. it was their only turnover all night. jamie apody kicks off the coverage of the all's brush with test flee from the link.

the 2600 block of kramer street. the victim in his 30s was shot in the leg, he ran inside the house and collapsed on the floor. he was rushed to cooper trauma center where he was pronounced dead. no arrests and no word on what sparked the shooting. a woman is hospitalized after her car lost control of her car and ran off the road at 1:00 a.m. she was taken to christiana mom with a non-life threatening injuries. philadelphia police are looking for a hit-and-run driver. the culprit took off near the link in a cape. the driver dressed as superman struck a pedestrian on pattison avenue. this happened during the temple north dame game. the victim was taken to jefferson university hospital with injuries to his face. the search may resume at the site of the el faro row
