"action news" was there as firefighters pulled the woman out of the buildings here in new castle. it happened at the aldon park dwormt at 4:30 -- development at 4:30 a.m. the woman was rushed to christiana hospital in critical condition suffering from smoke inhalation. the fire marshalls office is investigating what caused the blaze. philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left more than two dozen gun

shell casings and a man fighting for his life. it began with an argument in the city's tioga nicetown section. it ended when someone opened fire on a 28-year-old man when he was in his car on 17th and erie avenue. he drove on 17th for a block until he crashed into a parked car. he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. police found 30 shell casings at the scene. police are investigating a shooting in north philadelphia that left a man hospitalized in critical condition. it happened on swain street at 3:00 a.m. police tell "action news" a 25-year-old man was shot several times. two men have been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the shooting. >> a driver is hospitalized after a nasty crash in lower makefield township. it happened on big oak road near ferry road. police say the driver lost control and hit several trees. he was trapped inside the wreckage. it took firefighters 20 minutes to free the man.

10:00 a.m. upper 40s north and west, low 50s, south and east, 37 in the poconos. there's the slightest breeze blowing out of the southwest. maybe a slight windchill out there, but not as cold as this morning. satellite and radar all of this is called cirrus they are high, thin clouds. the sun shines right through that, that's no big deal. the gusty winds are up in here, so it's new england that's dealing with the gusty winds this go around. we have high pressure moving in that means everything will relax this afternoon. somewhat breezy, but not winds. mostly sunny, milder, breezy, 60 degrees that's the forecasted high. as we look ahead we'll talk about this in the seven-day forecast in just a few minutes. the only shot of rain this week is wednesday into thursday, this is very light wednesday, 30%, the bulk of it comes on thursday, some of it will be heavy. forecast information will show one to two inches of rain in a

short time. it could cause flooding problems and thunderstorms. i'll have the details in the seven day in just a bit. >> here's the latest on the deadly terror attacks in paris. france is in the second day of the three day mourning period following the attacks, 129 people were killed and 350 people wounded when terrorists carried out calculated attacks on several sites. they included a concert hall where an american band was performing and stadium filled with soccer fans and french president france swaw hall -- francois hollande. a american student was killed. a car found outside the bataclan concert hall may be linked to the terrorists. there will be heightened security at nfl games across the

country. that includes the game against the dolphinses at the linc this afternoon. trish hartman is at lincoln financial field, trish. >> reporter: we have officers outside the stadium. we have officers patrolling today and the homeland security is parked outside the stadium ahead of the game against the dolphins. nfl is stepping up security at all stadiums after the terror attacks. philadelphia police northboundally have five patrols during a game. today there are 15. it's in an abundance of caution because of the attacks in paris. it was detectiving -- it was

disturbing especially for these people to watch. the nfl has been working with fbi and homeland security and says there are no known threats against the nervous system stadiums. the normal measures are in effect at the linc, though officials strongly encourage fans not to bring bags at all. fans say they were not surprised to hear about the ramped security measures. >> it was expected, i'm surprised it wasn't sooner earlier. we empty our pockets they wand us what else can we do. the clear bag stated outside
