wake of the attacks in paris. a shooting at a delaware bowling alley. those stories, but first the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. it was cold this morning. >> reporter: some areas dropped into the 20s. it feels nice out there, sun is shining and the numbers are starting to respond. we look at the numbers, allentown, 26 degrees you're up to 40. we've had a nice rebound already. reading, 37. philadelphia, 45. that's the number for wilmington and millville. trenton, 43. cape may, 45 and beach haven is up to 50 degrees. the 24 hour temperature change shows the colder air moving in behind the front ranging anywhere from 35 to 10 degrees colder at the same time yesterday. with the breeze it will feel cooler than what we experience the over the last few days, we had three state days, today,

highs in the low to mid 50s, the winds will continue through sunday. it will pick up sunday night into monday, that's when some of the cold stuff gets in here, sunday night and monday. satellite and radar, showing the cloud cover to the west. we'll see an increase in the west and east as the day wears on. we'll see sunshine early on, increase the clouds at sunset. we'll have sun to the west it will not affect us for the weekend. we have a nice looking day, seasonable, high of 54 with the winds it will feel like the upper 40s. looking ahead, no shot of rain in the seven-day forecast. and we've got really warm temperatures just in time for thanksgiving. i'll have the details in the seven day coming up in just a bit. >> developing overnight authorities in turkey say they have taken a belgium national into custody and they think he

suicide vest. >> it was a huge explosion. we knew they could do damage against us. >> reporter: over an hour later they took out the last suspect a state of emergency is in effect in mali after terrorists stormed an hotel. 22 people were killed, security forces say they are hunting three suspects, one of the victims is 40-year-old a neat at that guitar -- anita guitar a spokesman for the family gave this statement. >> we are mourning the loss of our wonderful daughter. >> she was a senior manager for an international development

company. she leaves behind a young son. penn state is beefing up security for the final home game against michigan. officials say there are no known threats, but decided to increase security as a precaution after the terror attacks in paris. the gates to beaver stadium will open at 10:00 a.m. a half our earlier than usual. guards will be path down people -- patting down people entering the stadium. extra security measures are in place for the philadelphia marathon. the rothman 8k and kids fun walk stepped off on the benjamin franklin parkway this morning. mayor nutter said homeland officials assured him there are no known threats to the city. all runners are being screened as they enter the security zone around the start and finish line. two tractor trailers

collided in westville, gloucster county. traffic is skirting around the wreckage, two people were treated for injuries stay with 6abc.com and "action news" for updates on the traffic trouble on 295. a shooting at a birthday party in delaware, an argument set it off at the pleasant hill bowling alley in newport. someone pulled out a gun and bullets hit a car and missed a large crowd. police are questioning some people. a stabbing leaves a man fighting for his life. police leave no time in making an arrest in the west oak lane section. a 46-year-old man was stabbed several times. police arrested him to einstein medical center. he was wheeled into surgery in critical condition. a person has been arrested and

facing charges. the number of taibilitied taibilitied -- tainted convictions tied to 7 police officers is growing. >> reporter: common pleas judge ruled that 88 cases were tainted by allegations of police corruption. the district attorney's office agrees. for a woman and her mother the decision brought tears of joy. the nightmare began february 12, 2010. neither one had prior criminal records. but the seven officers in question accused them of drug traffic charges and they were charged with trafficking children. they were convicted on the officer's testimony and sent to prison. they lost their home under drug forfeiture laws. >> they took everything, our good name, our house, money, everything just taken away, our freedom. >> reporter: she said she was not able to google her own name

because of the bad things said about her. sometimes i would change my name so people wouldn't be able to google me, now i don't have to do that any more. i'll be able to live with my name and be proud of my name. >> reporter: the public defender said so far 648 cases the officers handled have been thrown out tainted by corruption. >> that's a travesty, i hope the new commissioner follow also the lead set by commissioner ramsey with no to tolerance for police corruption. >> reporter: as for the officers who did this to her and her mother? >> i pray for them, i don't hate them, but i don't like them, i pray for them hopefully everything comes around and clearly it has. >> reporter: of the 7 officers only one was convicted the other 6 were acquitted.

people will see more. the corn belt picked up ten to 15 inches last night. it's a huge snowstorm for the folks in the midwest. that pulls into canada tomorrow. the only effects we'll see from that system is the gusty breezes. temperatures in the 40s and 50s, with the winds it will feel like the upper 30s, low 40 40s at times. monday is the colder day. increasing clouds today, upper 30s north and west 45 for center city overnights. maybe one or two areas pick up a brief shower should not amount to that much. tomorrow morning, it's chilly, but not that bad. we were in the 20s this morning, we'll replace it with the 40s. the eagles game temperatures in the 40s, it will feel like the upper 30s, low 40s. millville, 355. overnight tonight, we'll call it mild.

no arrests have been made, anyone with information call wilmington police. a montgomery county woman could spend decades behind bar after a jury found her guilty of torching her neighbor's home. capitol that is. the christmas tree arrived from alaska. it traveled 4,000 miles by boat and truck and the first one from alaska. decorations include thousands of ornaments made by kids. they have the christmas tree up on the art museum steps this year for the first time in several years. december 25th. we seem to celebrate earlier and earlier. every year the decorations get into the store earlier and earlier. we put our tree up last sunday. look at you. there's the view from philadelphia international airport. it's a beautiful morning out there, it's so cold this morning, but now it feels nice. temperatures are back up in the 40s with the slightest breeze. double scan live no issues this morning. we could see a spotty shower

overnight that's about it. actually the next seven days, the entire seven-day forecast with the exception of a spotty shower tonight is completely dry. 54 degrees is the high temperature 39 is where we started out this morning. 40 degrees in allentown. dover, 46. sea isle city, 49. atlantic city 46 degrees with just the slightest breeze out of the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. the wind will pick up this afternoon, we'll call it breezy out there with winds out of the east at 5 to 15 miles per hour. the windy stuff comes in here behind this storm system right now it's hammering away the chicago and south bend and detroit. ton of snow flying from the tune of 3 to 10 inches of snow depending on where the heavier bands set up. the snow disunt hit -- doesn't hit us, but the cold air behind

again, it's a one and done type of deal and then it pulls to the north. sunny in the lehigh valley, chilly, 50 degrees in allentown. 55 degrees atlantic city sun and clouds, nice. seasonable the normal high for this time of year is 54. sun and clouds breezy winds out of the southeast at 5 to 150 miles per hour. cloudy skies overnight tonight maybe one or two areas see a brief shower after midnight. 39 degrees outlying suburbs, 47 in center city. tomorrow afternoon, eagles taking on the buccaneers we need a win. chilly breeze, north northwestly breezes, 12 to 20 miles per hour. we'll see how it plays into the kicking game. 48 degrees is the kickoff temperature. 49 by the 4th quarter. with the wind it will feel like the upper 30s and low 40s all day long. 54 today, 50 degrees tomorrow.
