morning, we're in the 50s right now. the air temperature in philadelphia is close to the normal high. it's 6:00 a.m. it's a mild start, 52 for philadelphia. colder to the northwest as a cold front is in the process of pushing through, so it's knocking on the door, as you can see it has not made it into the city just yet. still cool across western suburbs and mild across south jersey and delaware. clouds throughout the entire area, huge snowstorm for the great lakes and the ohio valley that has pushed into a canada. one hiccup to the forecast is a wave of low pressure across the southerly line that has -- across the carolinas has developed. clouds will fight the sun throughout the day, but the jersey shore will see rain later on. 48 degrees mostly cloudy skies.

"good morning america" weekend will have more on this ahead at 8:00 a.m. on "action news." >> new this morning, a dispute inside a car ended in tragedy on 495 in newport, delaware. police say a man and woman were arguing in a car during the disagreement. the woman jumped out of the moving car. she was hit by another car. she was pronounced dead at the hospital. both vehicles stopped 495 was closed for the investigation. it has reopened. new information came in overnight on a deadly accident on the boulevard. a car split in half.

the 19-year-old man driving was thrown organ the road and killed. overnight police say the car was traveling at a high speed weaving in and out of traffic. the driver tried to make a control and lost control and pit a pole. a third car in the southbound lanes was involved. the drivers of the other cars suffered minor injuries. the eagles play tampa at the linc. the birds can end the day in a tie for first place, a loss would put them in serious jeopardy of missing the playoffs altogether. mark sanchez gets to start in place of injured bradford. he set team record for percentages. >> you have to force yourself to play, you have to take the

see clearing. southern new jersey and delaware will be locked in throughout the day. because of the cluster of moisture that developed over the last couple of hours, this will pull north. let's call it an area of low pressure. it will skirt the jersey shore. from this area here to that point east. inland locations, philadelphia clouds and sun, you go west of there, it's full sunshine. places like pilots, reading, allentown, lancaster, later this afternoon. it will be quite a change here from a western suburbs to the jersey shore, it's a small area that can make a huge difference in the forecast. there's the front pushing through, a little bit light rain for the jersey shore, western suburbs, clouds breaking for sun. monday, full sunshine, breezy, winds out of the northwest at are 15 miles per hour. it's a chilly day the colder high working its way in. we'll see high temperatures stuck in the 40s.

yet, but over the next few hours it will. all these numbers will slowly drop off during the course of the day. millville, 50. 54 in sea isle city. trenton, 51. dover, mild, 51 degrees. everyone seeing a good breeze out of the west/northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. if there's any issues for the runner this morning it will be this. the winds will continue anywhere from ten to 20 miles per hour throughout the day. that could play into the kicking game for the eagles, buccaneers game later this afternoon, as well. you could see gusts up to 20 to 25 miles per hour. you'll see how that plays out later on. satellite and radar, a lot of clouds in place up and down the are entire eastern seaboard. cold front in the process of pushing through. there's the front right there, you can clearly see it. rains and snow to the north, another batch of rain to the south, across the virginias and the carolinas, a small area of low pressure that will ride the front and pull north over the

next 5 to 7 hours. it will bring a period of wet weather to the jersey shore. everybody else will stay dry. lunchtime it's raining for the shorepoints, wildwood, avalon, cape may, atlantic city getting a little wet. interior sections of south jersey, it's cloudy and areas west of philadelphia. you're probably seeing full sunshine, so, again, a large difference in just a small area. reading, 45. philadelphia, note the numbers slowly dropping 48 degrees, the shorepoints hovering close to 50. 5:00 p.m., raining for the jersey shore. now we're seeing a combination of sun and clouds across the western suburbs. all this pushes out and we'll see the skies clear out overnight tonight. first thing tomorrow morning, the numbers drop off. i have a feeling a lot of numbers out here will be in the up upper 20s as opposed to the 30-degree mark. you factor in the winds, the windchills will feel like 25 for
