firefighters and a police officer managed to rescue two people. >> crews did a good job ventilating they made an interior rescue, the firefighters did and the policeman made anerior rescue pulling a person out. >> 22 people were displaced. no word on what sparked the fire. crews will be on scene investigating most of the day. >> a fedex truck burst into flames on the new jersey turnpike. it big rig rear ended a slow-moving minute have van. the impact -- minivan, the truck jackknifed and caught fire. part of the southbound labels were shut down while crews cleared the scene. brand new overnight a driver is dead after an accident

in voorhees, camden county. the car broke free on the 600 block of white horse road. the 37-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle, he was pronounced dead at cooper university hospital. police are investigating the cause of the accidents. it was a similar story in mount holly burlington county, around the same time. a car plowed into a tree on the mount holly bypass, medics rescued the driver, but he died at the hospital. we're getting our first look at the mann police say opened fire at a planned parenthood clinic in colorado. the police released this mug shot of robert l.dear. he is accused of killing three people including a police officer. the motive is unknown. brandy hick is in colorado springs with the latest. >> reporter: it's an active police scene behind me. you can see the barricade and behind that is the planned

parenthood facility. explosive teams are going through the building to make sure he didn't leave anything behind. it was five intense hours police exchanging gunfire with the man inside this colorado springs planned parenthood facility after the gunman opened fire in a nearby parking lot. >> he was in front of me and aiming at me, i just hit the gas. >> reporter: witnesses say first responders then became the next target. one by one officers were shot and took cover. >> he turned around with a bloody face and went get out of here, get out of here. >> reporter: as backup arrived the gun battle continued inside the building, more than 100 officers on scene including the fbi. >> we have gunfire into the room. we got to stop this guy. >> reporter: john's sister was caught in the building. he spoke to her by phone. >> there was a guy shooting.

above the atlantic city expressway after a hyundai sedan slammed into the toll booth. the car burst into flames trapping the driver inside where he would succumb to his injuries. the fire burnt part of the toll booth, one was unopened and two others were manned. >> they heard the crash and one of them saw the crash they are being interviewed at the station. >> reporter: new jersey state police say they received a phone call shortly before the accident that the sedan was operating erratically on the atlantic city expressway. so far they have not ruled out if drugs or alcohol were involved. the driver was identified as joseph crawford of egg harbor city. traffic was largely unaffected
