let's go outside to chris sowers. umbrella up, chris. >> reporter: we have light rain on city avenue, heavier showers to the west and the the south. one thing thing for certain it's colder than yesterday at this time when we were hanging out in the low to mid 50s, now we're down to 39 in allentown. 45 in millville. 29 degrees in the poconos. here's double scan live 3d we set it in motion for you, note how everything is slowly drifting toward the south and the east. that rain is following the cold front. as it pushes to the south it will take the moisture along with it. by afternoon, case in point, allentown, bethlehem seeing full sunshine. south jersey close to the front maybe you're holding on to the cloud cover, but all the rain will be long gone. zooming into chester county. you can see the darker shades of green. every now and then we pick up a

steadier shower, 322, route 202 and route 30 it will be a slow go this morning. we have a little bit of ponding on roads through coatsville, downingtown and exton and west chester. a heavier band pushing through the delaware bay region of south jersey. the trend is clearing today we hope to get this moisture out of here by 10:00 a.m. 46 degrees by 10:00 a.m. mostly cloudy, lunchtime, 49. 4:00 p.m., sunny, 50 degrees, shooting for a high of 51 or 52. if you're traveling today, if you're traveling southbound on i-95 toward the richmond area it will be a slow go this morning. if you're traveling northbound on i-95 up into new england expect dry roads and cooler conditions, but a ton of sunshine, so no delays. we have do, however, have more rain in the seven-day forecast. the first arrives tuesday, the next round arrives wednesday. some of that could be on the heavier side. when i come back in just a few minutes, i'll have the details in the seven-day forecast.

multipassenger van. it happened in somerset county. more than a dozen people were taken to the hospital. some suffered serious injuries. several cows in the trailer did not survive. 287 is back open. state police may provide an update of the accident later this morning. authorities are trying to figure out what set off a gunman's murderous rampage at a planned parenthood clinic in can mean. robert louis dear allegedly made comments that is fueling anti-abortion rhetoric. a police officer killed in the shooter's spree is being remembered. abc has more on the investigation and how the horror unfolded. in the small colorado town of hartsville, police vehicle and fire truck surrounded a white trailer.

residents say it's the home of robert louis dear the man accused of a shooting spree friday at a planned parenthood clinic 60 miles away in colorado springs. >> i don't know what happened to him, what made him snap. >> reporter: that's what police want to find out. officer garrett swasey a 44-year-old father of two, one of three people shot and killed by the alleged planned parent hood gunman. form olympian nancy kerrigan was a long time friend of swasey an avid skater. dear walked into the clinic and opened fire with the rifle beginning a shootout and standoff that lasted five hours. >> he is coming out he was ak. >> reporter: he trained his sights on ozie. >> he was looking at my face

on the expressway in winslow, wam den county. -- camden county. one person was trapped in a car that person and two others were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. now to colorado. police say robert louis dear who carried out a planned parenthood shooting said no more baby parts, the official was not authorized to speak openly. police searched the 57-year-old's trailer for evidence. he is accused of killing three people and wounding nine others including five police officers. he walked into the clinic on friday afternoon and began shooting. he surrendered after a five hour standoff. >> hundreds of people gathered at the university of colorado springs gym last night for a

vigil for the officer killed in the land parenthood shooting. garrett swasey was one of the first to respond to the shooting. the 44-year-old father of two saved lives on friday by his quick and courageous response. his father said his son's killing does make any sense. >> how do you make sense, when one moment someone that we love and cared for is walking side by side with us, and next moment they are gone? >> swasey was a pastor of hope church in colorado springs. those who knew him said he worked as a police officer to serve others. >> four people, two of them, children were hit by a van in the city's parkside section. the driver stopped on the 4900 block of parkside avenue. the accident happened at 5:30. the young woman hit is in critical condition. the other is treated for less
