the police imposters who are robbing people in south philadelphia. we'll have the big story on "action news" this noon is a murder suicide in hatfield, montgomery county. police are piecing together what happened inside this home on diamond street. they found three people dead late last night. annie mccormick has been at the scene all morning long and she joins us live with an update. annie. >> reporter: and rick, at this point authorities have not released the names of the deceased they tell us they are waiting to notify next of kin. a 27-year-old woman and 4-year-old child escaped unharmed. neighbors say this family was the family that got along with themselves and neighbors. a 911 call brought police to the grizzly scene inside this home covered in christmas lights. inside they found three adults dead two shot multiple times. investigators from the montgomery county district attorney's office believe the alleged shooter killed himself after he opened fire with a semi

automatic rifle sunday night. >> it appears it was domestically related and there were two other people in the house, 27-year-old and a 4-year-old. they were unharmed, but we had multiple shots that were fired and, again, three deceased. neighbors work up to the sight of detectives in their neighborhood. the 100 block of diamond street doesn't see much crime. >> we didn't hear no gun shots, it was a youth night. >> reporter: authorities believe the shooter was a 48-year-old male the victims a 48-year-old female and her 28-year-old son. >> they reside at the residence where the murder and suicide occur. >> reporter: this man spoke to his neighbor every day, including sunday morning. there appears to be no trouble. >> that's what is so strange,
