the police imposters who are robbing people in south philadelphia. we'll have the big story on "action news" this noon is a murder suicide in hatfield, montgomery county. police are piecing together what happened inside this home on diamond street. they found three people dead late last night. annie mccormick has been at the scene all morning long and she joins us live with an update. annie. >> reporter: and rick, at this point authorities have not released the names of the deceased they tell us they are waiting to notify next of kin. a 27-year-old woman and 4-year-old child escaped unharmed. neighbors say this family was the family that got along with themselves and neighbors. a 911 call brought police to the grizzly scene inside this home covered in christmas lights. inside they found three adults dead two shot multiple times. investigators from the montgomery county district attorney's office believe the alleged shooter killed himself after he opened fire with a semi

automatic rifle sunday night. >> it appears it was domestically related and there were two other people in the house, 27-year-old and a 4-year-old. they were unharmed, but we had multiple shots that were fired and, again, three deceased. neighbors work up to the sight of detectives in their neighborhood. the 100 block of diamond street doesn't see much crime. >> we didn't hear no gun shots, it was a youth night. >> reporter: authorities believe the shooter was a 48-year-old male the victims a 48-year-old female and her 28-year-old son. >> they reside at the residence where the murder and suicide occur. >> reporter: this man spoke to his neighbor every day, including sunday morning. there appears to be no trouble. >> that's what is so strange,

newark or middletown or millville you may get a shower. the bulk of the rain is well to our south. we have a warm front that will lifter through the region and cold front that will press in from the west. we have rain coming in from tuesday and wednesday. 44 degrees right now in philadelphia. this morning we started off just in the 20s in a lot of spots. 39 in allentown. getting better. 47 degrees in millville. 51 in atlantic city. so temperatures not as cold as they were this morning, but staying a little bit below average. the high today is 48 degrees. for the afternoon commute we'll see cloudy skies, we'll see the clouds lower and thicken, feeling which i amie by 4:00 p.m. 5:30, 46 degrees. the real rain arrives late

a man cooled of opening fire -- accused of opening fire at the colorado planned parent hood clinic. robert dear is suspected of killing a police officer and two civilians. nine other people including several police officers were injured during the five hour standoff. while the motive for the shooting is unclear, he allegedly told authorities no more baby parts after he was arrested. investigators are looking for surveillance videos showing a man and woman posing as police officers. three people were approached in separate incidents yesterday in south philadelphia. two at 4th and jackson in one incident a man flashed a bag and lifted cash from the drivers wallet. bargain hunters are turning to the internal on this sunday. the rush of online shoppers

several times, but did not help him. porter faces several charges including manslaughter. the verdict in the trial is expected to set the tone for the other officers indicted. baltimore police commissioner said the future of the city is at stake. college bus full of students overturned south of richmond. they were heading back to the campus of virginia and virginia tech and radford university after the long holiday break. the bus driver was charged with reckless driving. authorities in fresno say a suspected burglar who became stuck in the chimney of the home died after the unsuspected homeowner lit a fire in the fireplace. the homeowner heard someone scream after lighting the fire and called 911.

the 19-year-old died of smoke and burns. he was alive when they pulled him out, but by the time they got him out, he had died. >> they used drills and chisels to take apart the chimney to take him out. >> i've been deputy for 17 years and i've never seen anything like this. >> the homeowner when he realized a person was stuck in the chimney he extinguished the fire. two protesters were able to get past security at buckingham palace. they are calling for reform in parental rights. they climbed on to the roof despite a number of police officers nearby, they said they were aware of the risks they were taking in light of the heightens security concerns following the paris terror attack. they were arrested on suspicion of trespassing on a protected

clouds in place, the bulk of the rain is to our south an west, it's a good amount of rain that will come through the region. look at this on the wider view. we have an inch, inch 1/2 of rain heading toward the region. i will be a warm front through the region that will allow the temperatures to rise. 3:00 p.m., 48 degrees, we saw early sunshine, but it's fading. the clouds continue to build and lower and thicken. 5:00 p.m., 47 degrees we're dry through most of the region by 5:00 p.m. by 7:00 p.m. we start to see the showers and the rain building in, 46 degrees. 9:00 p.m., 45 with rain coming through the region. the overnight low 43 that's key in philadelphia. temperatures staying well above the freezing mark. no concerns with that. future tracker 6, 7:00 p.m. tonight, maybe a shower sneaks through. but at 10:00 p.m. we'll see rain
