2:00 p.m., 52. we have a high of 54 which his 6 cease above average. we have a gorgeous weekend around the delaware valley for the month of december you can't beat what's in the forecast. no arctic air in sight over the next couple of weeks. we'll talk about that in the seven day in just a little bit. >> new this morning, it's a story we see often as cold weather sets in. an elderly couple is overcome by carbon monoxide in northeast philadelphia. investigators say they were heating their home with an open oven. at this point there is no confirmation that was the source of the odorless colorless fumes that sickened the elderly couple. a neighbor called 911. they are being treated in the hospital. a car slammed into a tree in twair -- delaware county.

police say it started out as an argument, the man saw police and the hopped in the car and took off. he is expected to survive and will face charges. now to the latest on the mass shootings in san bernadino, california. new this morning, isis is claiming that the couple involved in that tragedy were supporters of the terror group. that declaration was made on their radio station half-hour ago. this comes after the fbi declared the mass shooting a terror attack. in san bernadino last night a candle light vigil was held for the victims of the shooting. the names of the 14 people killed were read allowed that includes two from the area. >> reporter: this is our first look at tashfeen malik the mystery woman authorities suspect may have been the brains

behind the san bernadino massacre. tashfeen malik and her husband syed rizwan farook bursting into a conference firing 65 rounds killing most of of farook's colleagues. within minutes of the shooting the mother went on facebook and declared her allegiance to isis. tashfeen malik died with her husband in the shootout with her husband the question did she radicalize him. >> this is an fbi investigation. we have no indication that these killers are part part of an orgd larger group or form a cell. >> reporter: federal agents tore apart the couple's home looking for evidence, inside a typical family's life. dirt dishes, baby toys and diapers, the crib of their

6-month-old daughter now an orphan. this inventory lists dozens of boxes of amunition, 12 pipe bombs were left behind. farook's family warned against a rush of judgment. the fbi is combing through a large volume of electronic evidence including two cell phones the killers tried to destroy to find out who they were accumulating with and if there are any accomplices. san bernadino california abc. this latest shooting has renewed calls for gun control. the poll was taken in october after 9 people were killed in a mass shooting at an oregon community college. 55%% favor gun control laws. 86 favor laws that require background checks for all in the

u.s. a majority of americans think background checks would do little to reduce mass shootings. you can find more at 6abc.com we'll be posting updates throughout the weekend. fire officials in north hampton county are looking into what sparked a deadly blaze. flames shot from the home on the 5700 block on old carriage road in east allen township. one person was pronounced dead at the scene. a minivan hits and killed a pedestrian along the black horse pike in egg harbor township close to the atlantic city line. no word on whether charges will be filed against the driver of the minivan. philadelphia police have released surveillance picture they are hoping will lead to a pair of killers. chad perdelli has the details. >> reporter: police want these

two men for the thanksgiving murder of ryan kelly a young man who always had a smile worked hard at this northern liberty acme and liked his lunch from george's pizza across the street. kelly was gunned down a block from the home he shared with his parents. police say he was walking home from wawa when the two men pulled up from the stolen white mazda. you can see it in the background of this image. >> i don't know if it was an attempted robbery, but he was approached and shot by the males. >> reporter: the two men are wanted for two other robberies that day. this is surveillance from the td bank in a port richmond neighborhood. the suspects used a stolen debit card. police are releasing few details about the other robberies. >> number of of the robberies victims identification was

taken. we don't want to put anyone in harm's way. >> i can't understand it. >> reporter: neighbor austin has known kelly since he was a boy. he said he was a quiet gentleman, whose parents are devastated. >> if you needed a favor, just ask he would do it. >> reporter: the city has offered offered a 20,000-dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. outside of police headquarters, chad perdelli channel 6 "action news." >> univision is asking a judge to throw out a 500 million-dollar lawsuit filed by donald trump. lawyers say the gop presidential candidate destroyed univision's rights to televise the miss universe pageant. >> the head of the oklahoma

prison system is resigning in light of a series of bomped executions. the move comes as the attorney general looks into the botched executions. a missing person's report was filed by eric kohler. it is believed he went to live in mexico. he worked on visual effects in pirates of the carribean the avengers and x men. we have sad news to report about one of the red panda triplets at the park zoo. he was 1-year-old he did not appear i will before his death. the zoo is performing tests to figure out why the animal died.

in gloucester county. firefighters responded to the flames near the route 322 exit in logan township. it was on the shoulder of the road. no injuries were reported. investigators are working to learn what caused the fire. san bernadino shooting massacre has officially been labeled an act of terrorism. just an hour ago isis claimed on it's official radio station that the couple involved were supporters of the terror group. meanwhile, an online post by tashfeen malik one of the alleged shooters helped shift the investigation, the fbi said just before the attack, she made a pledge to isis on facebook using an alous account. that post has been removed. fbi are looking into whether the couple met with isis while in pack tan where the -- pakistan

where they met. two cell phones were found in the dumpster near their apartment. the fbi is scouring the phones and computers for proof they were radicalized. the feds said the evidence is there, but they added a word of caution. >> there's a number of pieces of evidence that pushed us off the cliff. >> we have no indication they were part of a larger group or formed part of a cell. abc news reported that the pakistani address that tashfeen malik listed on her visa application does not exist, but she passed several background checks. both tashfeen malik and syed rizwan farook were killed by police after murdering 14 people. abc news spoke with farook's sister and brother-in-law saying

a math teacher in bucks county is facing child sex abuse charges. authorities say joseph becker had an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old students. he is a teacher at north penn middle school. he changed photos and videos over a 5 month period beginning this past july through november. >> teachers are entrusted with the responsibility, a very important responsibilities of teaching children as they become young adults. this defendant abused his position. >> now, investigators say becker taught at east town middle and conostoga high school. they are asking any other victims to contact bucks county detective's. his bail has been set at $250,000. police arrested a couple accused of impersonating philadelphia police officers and robbing people. they flashed what appeared to be a badge at a 21-year-old man on

omaha, 41, that's above average. they should be around 23, 24, saint louis, 32, they should be much colder than what you're seeing there. all the cold stuff is bottled up in the arctic circle. what you're seeing you notice how the numbers are warmer and warmer the farther south you go. we're seeing the pacific winds, west to east winds that's the pacific jet roaring across the lower 48 and it's keeping the cold bottled up to the north. we'll have this throughout december. it's well above average. most of the month should be above average. we take all 31 days, we average it out, it should be above normal. now, there are signs that the second half of the month will begin to cool down. the first 15, 16 days will be unbelievably mild, even if it

everyone, 6:54 saturday morning, what a day we have in store for you, a lot of sunshine, once again, temperatures above average. we're shooting for a high of 54 degrees, normally we should are around 48. why has it been so mild over the last 30 to 45 days here? it's all because of an area of low pressure that's sitting in the gulf of alaska. the winds are looking like, we are seeing the pacific jet ride across the lower 48 and it's brought mild air across the entire country. what we need to happen for the pattern to flip and get arctic air into the lower 48. we need that low to pull away and he be replaced by an area of high pressure, the winds blow clockwise around the high and the winds look like. you start to tap into the cold up in canada. if you're a snow lover, a big winter weather fan, i don't see
