is off is a drug bust that turned into a hollywood stunt scene. it all start at cottman and torresdale here in the mayfair section of philadelphia. as narcotics officers moved into arrest two drug suspects sitting in a car, police say that the driver a to tempted a wild getaway. >> the the driver of this grand marquis, in his desperation to get away put the vehicle in reverse and crashed into a parked car and then put the vehicle in drive and attempted to run over a police office shore literally had to jump out of the way of the grand marquis not to be struck by this vehicle. >> well, that prompted an all out pursuit as you might imagine. the authorities say the driver struck two mark police cars during the the chase, and then with a flat front passenger tire and then sparks flying off the rim, the the getaway car did not make it past 7900 block of torresdale avenue. officers then that had to chase the suspect on foot.

police took the 51 year-old driver and 30 year-old pass evening inner to custody and they also recovered pills and crack, cocaine. fortunately, no officers were hurt. at virtually the same time a short distance away a police vehicle will collided with a fire engine leaving an officer injured. chopper six also over the scene here at castor and erie in the juniata section. the injured officer was rushed to temple university hospital. no word what led up to this accident. a philadelphia fugitive on the run for five years, considered one of the cities most wanted, has been caught now in orange park, florida, near jacksonville. khiry reid was arrested by u.s. marshals for murdering a grocery store clerk in 2010. old maurice mcdonald. >> we need him off the the streets. >> reporter: maurice mcdonald's stepmother says she feels peace knowing an arrest has been made, police say the the 22-year old was gunned down on november 10th inside j and r perez grocery in mantua. memorial of stuffed animals still sits outside the store. police say 28 year-old khiry reid is in custody having fled to florida after the shooting. authority say reid was staying with the friend near jacksonville and when officers showed up at the house both men jumped in the vehicle and fled. officers chased the men who collided with several law enforcement vehicles before they were caught. they also had a child in the vehicle with them. marshals say that no one was hurt but they did find narcotics in the car. back here at home many were relieved to hear about the the arrest, and ruben morel says he was working at the grocery store that morning when the gun shots started. >> i heard four shots, boom, boom, boom, boom. i went to the floor. is there nothing you can do. >> reporter: while he is relieved about at rest he says business has taken a hit since

shooting tonight the in the city of camden. a man believed to be in his 30's was shot in the head at 7:20 p.m. it happened in the 400 block of clinton street. responding camden county police officers rush the victim to cooper university hospital, but it was too late, no word just yet on the suspect's description or a motive. one person is dead and another is fighting for their life after this grinding crash in new hope, bucks county. chopper three was over route 202 near steuben road about 7:00 p.m., two vehicles collided, and killing a person instantly. the the second person had to be extricated from the wreckage and then air lifted to st. mary's medical center for care, no word just yet on the cause of the wreck or any charges. in the wake of the several violent incidents at northeast philadelphia's george washington high school, the principal is on the outs tonight. the latest a assault was on a ninth grade teacher just yesterday. in recent months others fistfights have been captured here on video and other

internal and external injuries. he was in custody for allegedly assaulting his mother and police officer. colin's family has now filed a lawsuit. from our delaware news room a jury acquitted a white police officer of assault after he kicked a black suspect in the head breaking his jaw. august 2013 incident was captured on dash cam video here, jurors deliberated about 16 hours over three days. the officer thomas webster testified he did not intend to kick dickerson in the head and was aiming for his upper body and worried that dickerson had a gun. prosecutors argued that webster used excessive force and dickerson was already on the ground. on health check at 11 new study find vast majority of the school age kid are not the getting enough exercise but it does propose a solution. the study in the journal pediatrics reveals fewer than one in 12 adolescence meets current exercise guidelines,
