apartment complex in claymont. >> nfl commissioner comes under fire after he was caught enjoying a joke that was no laughing matter. >> the investigation continues into a shooting that left a teenager dead and two others hurt. it happened on north craton street in west philadelphia. two of the victims are alive and one was killed who was just 17 years old. >> reporter: police are looking for two suspects a man and a women in a late night shooting that left a teen dead and one teen injured and a woman injured, as well. multiple 911 calls brought police to craton where they found a 17 shot in the head arm and leg. the gunfire hit another in the

thigh and grazed a female in the hip. >> we know that 17 shots were fired from two separate caliber semi automatic handle guns. >> i heard five gunshots, bang bang bang bang, i didn't bother to get up and stick my head out there. >> reporter: around the corner, the 17-year-old wounded in the thigh managed to sprint door to door seeking shelter as he lost a massive amount of blood. a stranger took him in, and rushed him to the hospital him other residents woke up to what police believe is his blood on the front steps. this resident did not want to be identified. what did you wake up to this morning. >> blood on the steps and door knob, and my porch. >> reporter: bullets went everywhere hitting cars and properties, too. >> we believe he was an intended target and he was close

this morning. as we head into the noon hour we're seeing breaks in the clouds, sun shining through, take a look at satellite you'll see the sweep of clouds we had in the morning hours along with the fog. we're getting into the hole in the cloud cover, for the next hour, hour and half we'll transition to a country sun and clouds mix. on the other side of pittsburgh you'll see rain that's part of the package late today and tonight. visibilities have improved. in trenton we're looking at two miles. everybody else in good shape. the poconos a tenth afternoon inch. areas to the northeast, like long island still seeing the fog. 65 degrees currently in philadelphia. the numbers are rebounding nicely. as we take a look at december so far, boy it's been a month of above average temperatures, everyday in the book from

york city with the details. >> reporter: as we wait to hear from president obama we have learned that the female suspect in the san bernadino attacks was able to get a visa to come here despite her social media posting s promoting jihad. fbi said tashfeen malik the mother turned murderer in the san bernadino attacks had social media postings supporting violent jihad. she came to the u.s. on a fiance visa. >> during that time period immigration officials are not allowed to view social media as part of the screening process. >> reporter: john coleman is a former homeland security officials and now an abc consultant.

they were asked to look at social media posts but it was opposed by civil rights office. malik got other visa in three weeks with no checks in online messages. >> had they checked tashfeen malik maybe she wouldn't have gotten a visa. maybe those people in san bernadino would be alive. >> reporter: president obama met with his national counsel this morning, officials in europe are dealing with the isis disrupting holiday celebration. >> we're live in new york, i'm elizabeth hur channel 6 "action news."

back to you. >> thank you from our delaware newsroom residents in claymont were forced from there beds because of a fast-moving fire at the harbor house apartment complex on harbor drive. smoke and flames forced people intooltd parking e -- into the e parking lot. residents said they didn't realize it wasn't a false alarm until police knocked on their doors. >> we hear alarms so often, some people sleep through them. investigators say it will cost $50,000 to fix the damage. the cause is under investigation. >> if you're heading to the post office to take care of last minute holiday errands be prepared to wait. the u.s. postal service said today is the busiest mailing day of the year. the action cam was at the usps processing plant in belmawr, camden county where extra staff

is on hand. they have three giant sorting machines that handle 9.6 million pieces of mail over the holiday season. that's 150,000 pieces of mail per sorting machine per day. eagles coach chip kelly is expected to speak to the media in less than an hour after the win yesterday. lesean mccoy was held to 74 yards rushing no touchdowns. eagles beat the bills 23-20. it was clear mccoy was not happy with the loss, he threw his helmet as he approached the locker room after the game. he had nothing to say to the media. eagles are 6-7 and tied for first in washington. eagles wives are hosting a charity fundraising event in center city. all sorts of clothing and accessories are up for sale at milk boy on the 1100 block of

highway patrol officer landed a woman in jail. the scene unfolded at a dmv. cell phone video shows eleanor stern kicking the officer as he tried to remove her from the building. the incident started after stern got into an argument with dmv employees. stern was charged with resisting arrest. she was released on $100 bond. closing arguments are underway in the manslaughter trial of william porter failed

to buckle freddie gray into a police car. he testified he did not know he was injured, but did tell the driver and supervise that gray wanted to go to the hospital. this morning prosecutors took aim at porter's testimony saying he did not tell the truth about the day gray died. porter is one of 6 police officers facing criminal charges in connection with gray's death. >> a man seen walking down the los angeles street firing a gun in the air was later shot and killed by sheriff's deputies. video captured the encounter saturday in the l.a. suburb of linwood. nick class robinson refused to drop the gun an walking toward a gas station where a family was in the car. many criticized the incident say that he may not have heard the

morning. we don't have any precipitation out there right now, the fog is gone. as we look outside the wide view at the airport. you can see how the clouds are breaking up a little bit overhead. we have sun that has built in for the next couple of hours before the clouds get thicker. temple zoom up to 65 degrees. dewpoint, 59. kind of high. things are feeling good overall. winds are calm as we take a look at temperatures everybody is enjoying nice numbers, top to bottom. 60 in allentown. >> reporter: 65 in reading, 58 in trentonment clouds are thicker and we have lower visibility. 64 in warrington. 58 in cape may. dover, delaware, 71 degrees. future tracker 6 picks up the next part of the story. we've got clouds and sunny breaks between now and 3 or 4:00. after that the clouds get thicker. at any time after 5:00 p.m.

starting in the west we'll be on the look out for showers coming through and there could thunderstorms and isolated heavier downpours. this is what is coming later this afternoon and early this evening. we'll get another break after moisture pops in later tonight. adam joseph and cesily tynan will have something to show you on storm tracker 6 live double scan at 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. and even at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. we may be tracking something from the west. lehigh valley lots of clouds, late rain, 65 degrees is the warm high. at the shore, 66 degrees, lots of clouds and late rain, as well. in philadelphia, 69 degrees, mostly cloudy late showers and winds out of the south at 7 to 14. that 69 by the way if we hit it would tie the record for this date. in fact there are several records that may fall. yesterday we got to 71 which was a new record. this time we'll see if we can tie it. overnight tonight we have rain
