meat was found wrapped in a muslim newspaper and put on a porch in the city's mt. airy section, the man that lives there found the meat on his doorstep and is a practicing muslim and does sometimes pray outside, he was scared by that discovery sew called police, the investigation has been taken over by homeland security but not yet rule aid hate crime. more in the search for a suspect in a hit and run crash that left a philadelphia police officer badly injured. this is 27-year-old maurice taylor he struck the officer on the 23 block of sears street in the grays ferry section, he hit a parked car and the officer went into the windshield. the damaged passat was recovered in point breeze with a

18-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy inside. anybody with information on taylor's whereabouts are asked to call right away. jurors in baltimore in the case of freddie gray, say they are deadlocked. the jury sent a note to circuit court judge barry williams after nine hours of deliberations in the case of officer william porter he is the first to face charges. gray died after he was injured in the back of a police wagon, his death spurred protests in baltimore and beyond. and now the fight against terror as the hunt for isis sympathizers intensifies, a maryland man is arrested for supporting the group allegedly and the threats against the largest school system in the country led to massive shut downs. >> reporter: well, abc news just

obtained the copy of the threat emailed to schools in new york, it read something big is going down and it will make headlines, it's so outlandish, they are calling it a hoax but out in l.a. better safe than sorry. >> twol different responses to two similar threats made across the country. in los angeles, authorities explained their decision to close all public schools was out of an abundance of caution and in new york schools remained open despite receiving similar threats. >> this was a very generic threat sent to a number of places and written in a fashion that suggests it was not plausable. >> it's easy in hindsight to

a big ribbon cutting today as the new city housing complex was unveiled. it replaces an old and delipidated high rise that was just demolished. chaka fattah and other city officials did the hoppers while others were invited to take a tour. they are three story townhomes for residents in need of low cost housing.

work together and be an example to the rest of the country. the driver of a work truck escaped serious injury following this crash along baltimore pike in springfield township today. it happened just after 10:00 a.m. authority says the truck and another car somehow collided and the truck ended up on its side. it's not clear if either driver will be charged with a crime. now three suspects are behind bars, they are from reading and detectives say one man tried to use a stolen credit card at premium outlets in limerick township. it led them to fraudulent cards and credit card making machine and blank magnetic tapes and they seized a laptop containing information about several

victims. a driver may face charges after slamming his car into christiana, look at this damage at the woodland trails development, the man is described a man in his 20s was on opus drive, and nobody was home at the time but now they have to decide if the home is too dangerous to stay in. in south jersey the search is on for a thief that allegedly attacked three gas station attendants, the first happened at a speedy gas last month and the suspect distracted the clerk and hit the prn on the head and grabbed cash and ran away, similar attacks were reported at a fuel express and police believe the same man is responsible for all three incidents, darby township police need your help finding this man thomas mean, he was last seen at
