in tickets were presold in north america, the ticket service says they sold more tickets for "the force awakens" than any movie during its theatrical run. sara bloomquist is live now with more. >> reporter: fans are excited and excitement is only building with each passing minute, many of those star wars fans are inside of the theater right now, they are watching a marathon of every star wars movie ever made that started at 4:00 this morning, these are people with tickets in the lobby for later on tonight they are biding their time waiting for their shows to begin and found one ways to spend their time, they brought along video games and are watching the prior movie, of course all of this is working up to the main events, here it is "the force awakens," first showing 7:00 tonight.

tonight is the night star wars returns, at 7:00 theaters across the country start showing the force awakens, speaking of being awake, fans started arriving here at united artist theatner king of prussia at midnight last night and they started a marathon session at 4:00 a.m., watching every star wars movie ever made right in a row. >> have been here since 2:00 and the atmosphere is crazy, we are in our fourth movie now, fifth movie excuse me and the excitement is getting pretty powerful. >> star wars fans have high expectations for episode seven will they be able to stay awake. >> i'm exhausted now but i'm staying for another show after that. >> these are the die hard star wars fans and this is the night they have been waiting for. >> i cannot wait to see this new one, i think it will be the best

once the fire was out they went through the rubble and found the bodies of 55-year-old douglas jackson and his 21-year-old son, douglas jackson iii. this is maeron smith, she is an accused of stealing 9,000 there's from a 90-year-old woman under her care, she was working as a companion for the victim living at plus mills senior facility in wallingford. delaware state police are looking for a woman that robbed a gas station twice in new casting, this is surveillance video of the suspect and authorities say that the robber and an unidentified man entered the shell dash in and held up the clerk at gun point and then the man returns and demanded money. nobody was hurt in either incident. it's not clear what sparked a fire at a center city

going to soon end. temperatures are mild, 55 in philadelphia and 52 in allentown and 56 in trenton and 40s in the poconos with another round of rain up there and bare slopes as we approach the christmas holiday season and upper 50s right along the jersey shore, look at the visibility. it's no longer the rain but the low lying fog, a half mile visibility in philadelphia and less than that in wilmington and chester county and lehigh valley, 2.5 mile visible. this fog is not going to last all night long and it tends to evaporate into the deeper overnight hours. but you can see the energy lifting into southern new england with the bulk of the precipitation and rain west of pittsburgh and clouds behind the rain and a lingering shower in the poconos during the overnight
