authorities have arrest aid teenager for allegedly trying to support isis through social media. jamil aziz is charged with trying to support the organization and using twitter to advocate violence toward military members and citizens and helping others travel to syria to fight isis and a backpack contained weapons, a hard drive and medication leading to exexpect that he was plotting some type of attack. he is expected back in court next week and "action news" is following the story and we'll bring you an update in the next half hour. >> turning to other news the north philadelphia daycare center that is under investigation is shut down by authorities, it was earlier this week when a 10-month-old girl died at the sisters child care

center on german town avenue. dhs officials went and shut down the business. >> reporter: the state shut down the facility after the death of that baby girl, state officials are out here working with other families from the daycare center to help place them in other facilities. a small memorial of teddy bear sits outside of the center in philadelphia, the facility on the 3500 block of german town avenue has now been shuttered. the police say after a 10-month-old girl was found unexpensive. but never called 911, she was pronounced dead at the hospital, while other parents collected their children one by one on wednesday, an investigation launched into her death and the facility itself which had prior issues. the state inspection found that the center was not in compliance

with 24 regulations, they corrected some of them and made plans for others. on thursday, the state department of human services issued an emergency removal that mean they immediately close the facility for the safety of the other children and dhs spokesperson released a statement in part, our hearts go out to the family on this profound loss and our thoughts are with them. >> at this point we don't know how the baby girl died. the autopsy is pending. katherine scott, channel 6 "action news." >> an upper darby police officer is facing charges for stealing and tampering with evidence. officer brad ross went to court this morning from an investigation that started back in february, sources a he allegedly stole cash and drugs from the upper darby evidence room and now they are expected to release details in the case today and stay with "action

news" as updates come in. officials with the college identified the student that was struck and killed by the car. sophomore, michelle buck was hit on main street in collegeville, the president brock says that she was respected and liked by her peers, students were shocked and saddens by her death. >> was in a test and everyone started -- we heard alarms going off and all and we didn't know what was going on and then we got out and we heard someone screaming. and it circulated he everywhere we didn't know who it was. counselors were available today and will be through winter break. philadelphia police say that two people are in custody following a stabbing in center

city it happened under the convention center overpass at 13th and arch streets, police say we they arrived there were three men on the ground. >> a witness told police that she saw the two perpetrators on top of the 42-year-old victim and both were stabbing the victim multiple times, police recovered a knife at the scene and they are checking nearby surveillance cameras. philadelphia police are investigate the death a woman found inside of an abandoned home. detectives have not identified the woman and say her injury as peer to be suspicious in nature. a delaware state trooper investigating a home invasion robbery shot a man that authorities say was armed. it happened overnight along the 300 block of salem church road

the event deserves aefsh bit of praise most notably this year and the food collected and it's the largest amount they have ever been able to gather, it will feed 250,000 families in our area, volunteers loaded the food into refrigerated trailers and all of it goes to philabundance, the food was purchased through donations made by the tri-state dealers association and 26 of their partners including us here at 6 abc. today the people at philabundance say they are grateful for the help. >> some food is the food you see today and it will be used throughout the year, hunger is an issue ay s a year. >> how do you get the food down here but with a toyota tundra.
