"action news" cam found shell casings at the triple play sports bar on west hunting park avenue. police say it started when two men were tossed from the bar before 1:00 a.m. they say the men left and returned a short time later. one jumped out of the car and fired 16 shots at employees and patrons standing outside the

bar. one of the bullets hit the a patron in the angle. armed security guards returned fire. minutes later a man showed up at einstein medical center with a bullet wound to the stomach. >> we believe the man is connected to the incident. we don't know if the male is a suspect or a patron here when this this all occurred. >> that man was rushed into surgery and is listed in critical condition. police say the security guards have permit to carry guns and are cooperating. we continue to follow another developing story this one out of philadelphia's felton criminal section. a shooting happened on the 4200 block mcalster street at a social club. the group was escorted out when shots were fired. three people including two women were injured. one of the victims is in serious condition. a 4th victim showed up at the

hospital. police tell us an armed security guard was involved in the shooting and they have two people of interest this custody. developing a fast-moving brushfire is burning along the pacific coast highway. the blaze whipped by winds is threatening 30 homes near ventura. so far 900 acres have burned down a hillside to the ocean. those homes are right in the path of these flames. a stretch of the highway is also shut down. rail service in the area is suspended a report from abc news is coming up in the next half-hour. >> a massive wildfire continues to burn in southern australia. the fire has charred one homes along a stretch of coastline popular with tourists. firefighters spent most of christmas day trying to gain the upper hand. cooler weather and light rain is helping, but the fire could burn for weeks.

nobody has been injured. destructive wildfire are common across much of australia did you work the southern hemisphere summer. parts of the south is bracing for possible tornados and flash flooding. this is the destruction caused by a twist touching down in birmingham, alabama. the tornados striking during christmas dinner. the worst damage is ten miles from the city's downtown. a flood watch is in effect for parts of alabama. that's a boathouse floating down a rain swollen lake. alabama governor, robert bentley has issued an emergency declaration for flooded areas. mississippi is preparing for more flash flooding, hail and winds is a concern, as well. trees and power lines could come crashing down.

the threat of tornados and flooding is lingering over parts of georgia and tennessee. a spree of tornados killed 15 people in the southeast this week. something unusual in a montgomery county creek now local officials are trying to figure out what it is and how it got is there. the action cam found the white and chalky water in park creek at regency drive in montgomery township. someone noticed the cloudy water and called 911. firefighters say whatever the substance it doesn't appear to be harmful. the holiday spirit was strong in the city's germantown section. philadelphia police teamed up with santa claus to make the season very bright for children in need. >> reporter: for the special occasion santa ditched his reign reign -- reindeer and sleigh for a police cruisers.

thunderstorms or anything like that. just patchy drizzle, maybe one or two areas you'll see quick-hitting shower. 54 degrees, cooler, 36 is the dewpoint. wind out of the northeast at 10 miles per hour, the pressure reading is rising. 60s and 70s has been replaced by the low to mid 50s. these will stick around for 12 to 24 hours. the cold front lifts back north again as we head into tomorrow, the numbers skyrocket in the upper 40s, and low 70s. it will be breezy from time to time, as well. wind speeds 5 to 15 miles per hour. satellite and radar, cloudy conditions, seems like we've been stuck in this for at least the last week to ten days. every now and then there could drizzle or scattered shower. depending on where the front is, it will bounce back and forth for the next 12 to 24 hours.

retired police officer at a casino. 52-year-old was killed on christmas eve in the parking lot of wild horse hotel and casino. police believe the man seen in surveillance video is responsible. the casino told authorities the man left upset and tried to steal a car in the parking lot. authorities think he intervened and shot three times. he was a former marine. an arsonist set a fire to the home of former president bill clinton. the damage is contained to one room. a driver saw flames and called for help. there was the smell of accelerant leading them to believe it was the work of an arsonist. the home is are a national historic site. >> in sports, desean jackson is
