"action news" reporter, jeff is live outside of the city of victory church in wilmington. jeff, most certainly a very emotional night inside of that building there. >> that's right, brian. that service lasted more than two hours. there was a tremendous outpouring of love and support for the family who tragically had been through this before. >> we pray right now that god has the love that will lift this family. >> grief and songs of praise. as the community gathers to support the carroway family and mourn the deaths of 3-year-old elizabeth and 3-month-old zipporah. >> he could have left us with nothing. but he left them here so they can still have a legacy to live. >> hundreds passed the city of victory church many with donated

clothes for mark carroway and his wife and lost everything. >> i can't imagine the pain. that your kids, it has to hurt. >> i was shocked because they have been through enough. they have been through enough. and all i could say is god, how much more? >> that's the question many are asking. carroway's mother died in a house fire in 1995 trying to save his sister's children. >> one thing i pray to god about is that i didn't want in to happen again because this is what my mother and my sister's kids went through. >> if we ever believed that you are a god, we need you right now. >> neighbors gathered in pray at the boarded up home, a memorial growing at the door. christina carroway escaped with her 2-year-old, but not able to return to save the others. the husband and wife are pentecostal teachers whose worst fears have come through. >> and we always pray, even

through last week that we don't want to lose babies. >> the couple's oldest daughter tells "action news" her mother is in critical condition with second-degree burns or her face, back and her legs. investigators are still trying to determine a cause to last night's fire. live in wilmington for channel 6 "action news." brian? >> jeff, thanks very much. meanwhile, a murder mystery unfolding tonight in west philadelphia. police rushed to the 300 block of north 63rd street around 8:15. they found a man in the rear of a business here suffering from multiple stab wounds. he died minutes later at penn presbyterian hospital. the victim's name has not been released. wilmington the scene ever more gunfire tonight and now a man clinging to life at the hospital. shot in the chest on the 1200 block of locust street at 6:40 this evening. the authorities have not yet identified the motive or a suspect. a conshohocken neighborhood transformed into what looked like an ice sculpture display

we are following some breaking news out of italy tonight. a suspect has been detained in the murder of an american woman. 35 year old ashley olson found naked on her dead in a rented apartment in florence saturday. an autopsy determined she was strangled with a cord or rope of some kind. crime scene investigators returned to the department and detained a senegalese.

and he is none to be part of the local drug scene and the two seen on surveillance the day before the victim's body was found. 10 u.s. sailors back at sea less than a day after held by iranian soldiers. tonight, new video shows one of the sailors apologizing. the video first broadcast on iranian television. nine men and one woman with hands behind their heads. all of this took place yesterday when the two small boats they were in ended up in iranian waters. in part of the video, which one official says staged. >> it was a mistake that was our fault and we apologize for our mistake. >> the quick release of the sailors is hailed as a sign of improved relations between the united states and iran. secretary of state, john kerry, suggested that a resolution was a product of a now regular conversations between washington
