temperatures, it's much colder this morning than yesterday at this time the arctic front has not pushed through. 30 in allentown. 35 in philadelphia. 28 in the poconos. 32 in trenton. 30 in millville a pair of 3s in wilmington. feels like 29 in wilmington when you factor in the winds. feels like 21 in the poconos. 30 in philadelphia and 29 in reading. here's satellite and radar, you can see the clouds quickly increasing from the southwest. there's a system working off the coast of the carolinas. as it gets closer and closer we'll see snow showers and snow flurries develop for areas south of philadelphia. mostly cloudy today, a couple of flurries are possible, especially south, 40 degrees is the forecasted high. it will be a struggle just to reach 40. i think most of the time we're hanging out in the upperrer -- upper 30s. lunchtime, cloudy conditions,

kennedy and a sergeant from the gettysburg area is missing. waves up to 30 feet high is complicating the search. debris floating from the area some from the choppers are causing a problem. the choppers crashed during a training mission that happened on thursday night. five americans were freed from prison in rie ran. ran -- iran. it comes always -- after the major nuclear deal with iran. >> reporter: five americans home ward bound and within hours of the deal, international snrption snrption -- inspectors certified iran kept their part of the deal. in return for the steps iran has taken, the united states and the eu will immediately lift nuclear related

sanctions. >> reporter: secretary john kerry insisted this was not a quid pro quo. the freed americans include washington bureau post renerepot and pastor pastor saeed abedini all spent time in the prison where they were subjected to beatings and psychological abuse. in exchange for the release of the americans, the u.s. dropped charges against seven iranians along with international arrest warrants. the agreement does not include robert levinson who disappeared during a 2007 visit to iran.

"good morning america" has more on the nuclear deal and the prisoner swamp. we learned about a american killed in the hotel standoff in burkina faso. we learned his name was michael riddering. he was a missionary working at an orphanage and women's crisis center. he was in a cafe waiting for volunteers. two of their kids were adopted from burkina faso. 27 people died in the standoff, 125 others were rescued. a philadelphia family is

welcoming news of an arrest in the murder of their son. 18-year-old david ramos junior was arrested in the ryan kelly. they are getting of off the street. >> reporter: news of the capture of ryan kelly's alleged killer brought family and friend to celebrate. with heavy hearts and his name on their chest they remembered the 21-year-old who always had a smile. he was a positive person. ryan was a wonderful boy, he was kind hearted he would do anything for you. >> reporter: kelly was robbed and gunned down just a block from the home he shared with his parents in port richmond. police are looking for these two men who were seen in a surveillance images from a td bank where they tried to use a stolen atm card. it was a robbery gone bad, they didn't get nothing off him

and shot him in cold blood. >> reporter: the arrest comes hours after a vigil friday night to remember kelly. while his father is pleased one suspect has been caught, he said he won't rest until police put the other behind bars. they know his name. he might as well turn himself in, because they will get him. >> reporter: again, police have arrested david ramos junior he is facing robbery and murder and other related charges. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." in bear, delaware, 6 people were overcome by carbon monoxide. five of them were children. people inside an apartment were getting sick. the unit did not have electricity and portable generator was running inside. this morning not clear if that was the cause. the victims spent the night at the hospital. they are expected to be okay. 7:08. a local school helps in the

lancaster, 34. allentown and the lehigh valley around 30 degrees. poconos 28 and trenton 32 with a windchill of 32. there's not much of a breeze there. 29 in poconos feels like 30 in philadelphia. here's the wide view on satellite and radar there's the arctic front right there. you see that comma-shaped cloud formation that's the arctic air diving south and east. we have a coastal storm off the coast of south carolina. this will not turn to the north, but make it out to sea. we could see snow showers developing later this afternoon across south jersey and delaware. it will not amount to all that much, just a few flakes in the sky. it would be the second or third time we've seen snow showers this season. it's been slim pickings, i guess you could say in the snow department for us in the philadelphia area. windchills this is really cold stuff that will continue to dive south and east over the next couple of days. windchills here will bottom out

near broad and lehigh. we know it is a homicide investigation. one person is dead as a result of the shooting. we can tell you this morning, a second victim had to be transported to temple hospital. that person listed in stable condition and the individual had a gunshot injury to the backside. police investigating this is still an active scene in north philadelphia near broad and lehigh. one person dead and another transported to the hospital. we'll track it and bring you any new developments throughout the morning. take a look at this surveillance video from inside an australia gas station. it captures the moment when a car crashes through the window into the middle of the store. the woman seems to disappear, but amazingly she was not hit by the car. the accident triggered a gas leak, but no fire was sparked. police are trying to figure out if alcohol played a factor in the crash.

a firefighters helmet camera showed the dramatic moments when people living in a california apartment building had to be rescued. slow down, keep going. thank goodness for the courageous firefighters. crews rescued a family of three after the apartment buildings filled with flames and smoke. the gopro camera captured the firefighters going through the buildings. several people had to be treated for smoke. a high intensity workout is offered with challenging exercise and the classes are small ten students and two or three instructors. the goal is to provide more one on one attention. we take out the competitive

the rear in stable condition. this is 2600 block of north broad street we'll keep you updated at 6abc and 6abc.com. a house fire in juniata park left a family of five homeless. the fire displaced a man and woman and two young boys and a girl. red cross is finding temporary shelter for them. no reports of injuries and no word on a cause. time, 7:33. this morning investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire to rip through an apartment building in delaware county. right now ten families are out of their homes. "action news" reporter, trish hartman with that story. >> reporter: neighbors embraced after a traumatic morning at the foxcroft terrace apartments in yeadon. there was so much smoke i got the baby, i didn't get to grab nothing.

>> reporter: firefighters were called to the buildings around 8:30 a.m. finding flames in a third floor apartment. they found the woman who lives there and carried her out of the burning building. they found the victim inside the front door of the apartment. finding that victim she pulled her from the building brought her down to the ems crews that were waiting. they pulled her out pitch black covered in smoke. >> reporter: they was taken to the croarsz -- crozer-chester medical center. it took 75 firefighters 40 minutes to get the fire under control. officials say four units were damaged by the fire, but utilities were cut to the entire building, so people won't be able to return to their home until monday at the earliest. ten families are being helped by the american red cross. shawna formed was one of the persons displaced. she was having her five nieces
