been hit by astray bullet on the way to the corner store. the shock of her life. >> as soon as we opened the door boom it hit us. i didn't know what was going on. my daughter did not know and i went in the house. >> someone fired shots at two people in the van of the driver loses control and crashes into her 2016 kia she bought a month ago. >> i am looking towards 7th street and notice the van going in reverse. i didn't think it would come towards us and it went too fast. >> that was only the beginning. >> it slammed into the house, into my car. reversed back, slammed into my house, slammed into the car, reversed back. slammed into the car and brought it up to the sidewalk. reversed and then made a new parking spot in front of my neighbors. >> car struck five times. assault to injury, it slammed into her daughter's car behind hers. and the two men fleeing on foot.

her car? >> it was killed, bled to death, nothing in the car. >> the car totalled and her daughter's. and the home suffered damages but she has a $1000 deductible on homeowners and another $500 on her car. >> and i have to get a loan and get another car. >> not happy camper. >> it is keeping me from my work and duties. >> one man shot in the face. the police made an arrest but be looking for others who may have been involved. >> thank you. the story of a driver spending time at the auto body shop after a sinkhole swallowed the front end of an s.u.v. the street caved in in pennsauken and the authorities had to wait until the crews could shut off water from a

broken line bubbling up from the ground. they finally pulled the s.u.v. out an hour ago. chester police investigating a homicide this hour. the victim shot to death inside of a van of the scene the 1600 block of upland street and the police have not identified the victim or suspects. an hour later chester police responded to another shooting at 12th and morton avenue near village deli. the victim's condition said to be grave and the suspect at large. a post-blizzard controversy in a south jersey community. suspending a crossing guard where she and supporters say she was trying to protect the kids in her care. and what is the storyline here? >> well jim, officials say gina broke the chain of command

texting the mayor asking for help. but she told "action news" she was trying to do her job. gina recorded video of the snow-choked intersection that forced the students she crosses every morning to walk in the street. trying to get it cleared by texting the mayor for help, only to find herself suspended for two days. >> because i was kind of surprised i was actually getting suspended for doing my job to the best of my ability and trying to keep other people's children safe. >> the 16-year vet reached out to "action news" on our facebook page after receiving this notice citing her for breaking chain ever command. >> who was your chain ever command. >> sergeant murray. >> did you contact him? >> i did not. he was not working that day. >> and the police chief wouldn't comment on what he stays is a personnel issue, but a statement was posted on the department's facebook page saying they have

murder of a 13-year-old boy in camden. nathaniel plummer, jr. shot and killed january. the police have not released a possible motive or the girl's name. she is already held at a juvenile detention facility in connection with the shooting last year that left a 19-year-old wounded. the owners of a neighborhood bar wants to know who is vandalizing their place with racist graffiti. the third time in two months it happened. the windows at the station bar & grill on 16th and mckean recovered in slurs against african-americans. the owner has no idea why someone would target his place. >> our crowd is a mixed crowd. we don't know who it could be. it could be just a local guy walking the street once and awhile and just decides he wants to put something on the wall. >> this is sad. it's sad. it's terrible. you know that someone would deface something like this. >> the police say if they catch the culprit they face hate

crimes in addition to charges of defacing property. the police say a 17-year-old girl responsible for an instagram post threatening to shoot students in three schools. the upland school district, chester community school and the high school saying "all blacks must die. and the girl who is herself african-american will be charged, but not as an adult. police in oakland and evesham township looking into incidents of luring. surveillance video of two boys ages 10 and 11 walking down the street in the area of peter hurd way. the police say the driver of a black sedan asks the boys in they want candy. a female passenger is in the car. one of the boys uses his cell phone and pretends to call police and the drive pulls away. a car approached three boys on

manner avenue in oakland the same day. in harrisburg a senate committee today recommended that the full senate eventually vote on whether to remove attorney general kathleen kane from office because she lacks a valid law office. the committee chairman, senator gordner said the matter should be decided in an up-or-down vote. the committee agreed to wait until the state supreme court rules on her request to have the license reinstated. congressman's defense team having to stay on the job even though the four lawyers have not been paid in month. they asked a federal judge to be released from the corruption case but the judge ordered them to continue working through the trial, which is scheduled for may. the judge says he fears that everything will be delayed if the lawyers step down. tonight the leader of an armed anti-government protest group asking his followers to stand down and go back to their families. this comes after last night's

arrest of seven others in oregon, an arrest that turned deadly. >> these members of an antigovernment group in court for the first hearing today and learning more about the deadly confrontation with the federal and state officers yesterday on a road nearby. an agents stopped them, and they say a militant drove away with officers in pursuit, and a dozen shots reportedly rang out. and other members reacted this way. >> my son ryan had been shot in the arm. the boy, finnigan they cold-blooded killed him. and he was out and had his hands in the air and said he wasn't armed. wasn't any threat and they cold-blooded just killed him. >> a criminal complaint unsealed by a judge in portland said they

this is the work of at least one tornado that tore through florida, and winds between 90 and 100 miles an hour. one car lifted out of the southbound lane to the highway and thrown into the northbound lanes with the driver still inside. that driver suffered only minor injuries. u.s. national democrats say they will address the water crisis in flint, michigan as part of an energy bill. the idea to protect children from water deadly or poisonous. and a man has taken his own action for the water crisis. >> nehemiah davis stacks water in his west philadelphia shop. they are what is left of the thousands he and his friends delivered monday. starting with a phone call. >> hey, we need to do something for flint, michigan.

in philadelphia, 30 down from the high of 45. allentown down to 23. trenton 31 degrees. wilmington 26. and reading 28 degrees. this is really a big change from this time last night. temperatures running anywhere from about 9 to 25 degrees cooler than last time. not only the 24-hour change a shock to the system, it means anything unmelted will be freezing over solid in the overnight hours. and we are really between systems. the next system is a cold front early friday morning much tomorrow the bus stop forecast is going to be cold and a lot of sidewalks will be icy. be careful with the kids. at 6:00, 22. by 8:00, 26 degrees. and it will be a slow ride. around lunchtime in philadelphia we should be climbing above freezing. and by 4:00, about 39 degrees. so cooler than today. but all in all, a pretty nice day with a good amount of
