going inside. the boy was not hurt. this morning, the man is facing several charges. police tell us they found a number of guns inside the home. police are searching for suspects after someone shoots and kills a 20-year-old man during a holdup in the juniata park second. donald green was leaving a grocery store when he was randomly gunned down. they took the light out of here family when they took our donald. >> reporter: the grieving family of donald green remembers the 20-year-old as a good man who loved music and his family. he was the family jokester. he was phenomenal. >> reporter: the 2014 roman catholic high school graduate was robbed by two men outside the grocery store.

he was shot at pointblank range. now above a display of candles messages cover the store's brick wall remembering the man family and friends called ducky. he stayed to hisself and didn't bother anybody. >> reporter: "action news" featured green's family during a happier time in 2012 his father returning from afghanistan. that reunited family now torn apart. as the police search for the killers. his aunt pleads for justice. turn yourself in, just report it, we can give donald a proper goodbye. >> reporter: there are surveillance cameras near the scene, but it's unclear if the police can recover any images of the suspects. as in all philadelphia murders a 20,000-dollar reward is being offered for an arrest and

conviction. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." firefighters in berks county will return to the scene of a fire that seriously injured a 70-year-old man. this started yesterday at a home on tuckerton road in muhlenberg township. the man had burns to his head neck and face. medics had to fly him to the hospital. there's no word on what caused the fire. tests have confirmed that the racoon that attacked a 6-year-old north jersey boy had rabies. the animal jumped at the boy wednesday morning as he was walking to school in about bergn county. a bystander got the animal over the child and beat it to death with a pole. the child is expected to make a full recovery. we're hours away from the start of the philadelphia auto show. the annual black tie gala was held last night and a little car made a big splash. chad perdelli has the latest. >> reporter: a car lover's

sun than clouds. we'll call it seasonable, but chilly, highs around 40 degrees. we have quick changes in the weather pattern over the first two weeks of february. this week coming up the scream like this it will cut -- the jet stream like this, it will cut north into canada. the storm track will run like this. all the heavy snow will be on the high plains, we'll enjoy nice warm air. we get into week two of february, things turn different. we have the cold air attack from canada. the southern branch will ride across the country with a series of low pressure systems. once we get into the super bowl weekend do these two getting together and get in phase like last week with the blizzard, if the answer is yes, we have to watch that very, very closely. if it is a no it's a miss.

happening right now on "action news," the latest on our breaking news from delaware county where police and s.w.a.t teams responded to a standoff involving a man and a young child. philadelphia police are searching this morning for a gunman after finding a man shot in the back at the scene of the accident. plus, the battle for iowa, voters are preparing for the caucuses in the hawkeye state. we're live with a preview. meteorologist chris sowers is back with a look ahead, chris, what can we expect? >> reporter: expect sunshine, look at this beautiful shot down in cape may. sun rising not a cloud in the sky, temperatures are quickly climbing we've been above freezing all week long. that's helped out tremendously as far as snow depth is concerned. areas in south jersey that had snow on the ground monday

abc's lana zack joins us from iowa. good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning, gray, hillary clinton on the heels of bad news crisscrossing the state today. you got to have a president who is there for you on the great days, who is there for you on the awful days and all the other days. >> reporter: with hours left on the clock and tight race hillary clinton campaign wanted to leave it on the field. but instead she was dealt a blow by the federal government announcing that 37 pages of e-mails found 0 on clinton's private server top secret. this is unacceptable, this is a disqualifier. >> reporter: with you the clinton campaign said they are not classified at the time calling it an overreaction.

"action news" was there when it starredded -- started at 1:15 on montgomery avenue in collingdale. a mantua history of substance dispute got -- substance abuse got into an argument with a woman there the female left the home with two children, but 3-year-old was in the house with the man. she said the man had guns and she was concerned. officers and s.w.a.t teams

responded they tried contacting the man with no success. after two hours they made their way inside and took the man into custody. authorities recovered several guns inside the home. this morning the man is facing a long list of charges. also this morning, a man in critical condition after he is shot at the scene of the accident. chopper 6 hd was over old york and tabor road in the city's logan section last night. police responding to the report of a crash. they found an overturned car and two other vehicles that were hit. they found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot injury to his back. officers are checking homes and businesses in the area for surveillance video. so far no arrests have been made and no word about a motive. 7:35. philadelphia police took five students into custody after reports that shots were fired inside ben frank lin high school. the action cam was outside the

spring garden school as police hauled off students in handcuffs. officers found spent shell casings of a 45 caliber handgun on a school stairwell. students couldn't understand how they could get a gun into the school. how did they get it in. they suspended me for five days for a lighter which is this big. >> reporter: a student shared shvideo of a fight in the school with "action news" claiming this was taken yesterday before the shot was fired. the school was placed on lockdown until police completed their investigation. from our delaware newsroom this morning, police in new castle county have identified a person of interest in a murder mystery. now they have to find him. trish hartman has the story. >> reporter: new castle county police are looking for 352-year-old gregory parker, 6'8", 225 pounds, detectives are calling him a person of interest in the homicide at his home in the mallard court community.

family is in turmoil right now. i don't know what my brother is doing out here. >> reporter: jermaine johnson said his brother is the one who was killed, while the victim was identified as sean spense of new castle, he went by sean johnson. while he didn't know gregory parker, he said -- turn yourself in, man. i'm very surprised, because nothing bad happen around here, and we have been here about 9 years. >> reporter: more surprising that the neighbor who lives in the house is being caught by police. i didn't expect him to be a person of interest after nothing him for 8 years. >> reporter: around 10:00 p.m., someone called them for a welfare check of the home. the feeling was correct and led us to locate a victim.

>> reporter: spense was found on the first floor with significant injuries. detectives worked all night and all day gathering evidence from the home. police say neighbors are shaken, but they think that the two men knew each other. enough any information call 1-800 tip-3333. trish hartman channel 6 "action news." chopper 6 hd was over this fire that ripped through a house in trenton, new jersey. this happened last night. the fire left a person injured. it started at 8:00 p.m. in the three story home on hamilton avenue and south clinton avenue. the injured person had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. the injuries are not considered to be life threatening. happening today, the philadelphia auto show opens at the pennsylvania convention center, 700 rides will be spread out across the showroom through next sunday.

police say the man had thrown his girlfriend to the ground and punching her in the face. this man was the first man to get to her. it was horrible. every step it took, it felt like he was taking another punch. he got her two or three times, i was glad to help out. disturbing piece of video. two others jumped in. the men kept the suspect pinned to the ground until police arrived. the attacker is facing assault charges. the victim will be okay.

authorities are testing 6 to 8 people for the zika virus. they are asking people to pay attention to the travel advisories. world held is holding an emergency -- world health is holding an emergency meeting on monday. zika is transmitted by mosquitoes and suspected of causing birth defects. head lice can be a huge headache for parents, it can happen when children have time off for snow days, ali gorman has more. >> reporter: the center for lice control make house calls and help parents get rid of head lice. while the bugs are a nuisance dealing with nice doesn't have to be a nightmare. it's not difficult when you have the right tools and guidance and information.
