"action news" got an exclusive video of police removing rifles

from the home. this started at 1:15 a.m. this morning when officers say the suspect while high on drugs got into an argument with the child's mother. the argument spiraled out of control. the woman got out of the house with two of the three children and immediately called 911. the female did tell the officers the man had guns in the house rifles and possibly handguns and she was concerned. police ended the standoff by going inside, the child was not hurt. he faces several charges. philadelphia police say this 9-year-old girl is missing, take a look at the screen. she was last scene at her home on the 600 block of katherine street in cobbs creek in west philadelphia. that was at 5:00 p.m. she was wearing a purple coat, a white

three button shirt and uniform pants with a stripe on them. chopper 6 hd was over old york and tabor road in the city's logan section last night. police were responding to a report of a crash. they found an overturned car and two other vehicles that were hit. officers tell us they found a 30-year-old mantua a gunshot injury to say back. police are checking homes and businesses in the area for surveillance video. so far no arrests have been made. this morning no word of a motive. for the first time the state department acknowledged that top secret information has been found that passed through hillary clinton private e-mail server while she was secretary of state. it involves 22 e-mails.

clinton's campaign criticized the intelligence community saying there was over classification run amuck ahead of the monday night caucuses. the iowa caucuses are two days away as voters have the first say in the presidential race. rick williams is in des moines. >> reporter: with so many members of the media in town, the city of des moines set up a media center in preparation for the monday night vote. this is where the election totals come in. around the city, excitement is heeding up. people bundled up who don't mind waiting in a long line to see the candidate. it's part of the process of picking a president. we are very informed, a bright state we don't take anything for granted and we work

violent fugitives who broke out of a california jail maybe in the san jose area about 340 miles from the jail they broke out. it is believed they are heading to fresno. the other fugitive turned himself in orange county. police believe they are in the van that they stole. a massive sinkhole in southern oregon is getting bigger. this opened up on highway 101 a few feet from a another giant sinkhole that collapsed in december. both are blamed on el nino storms that dumped heavy rain in the region. all the water has overwhelmed storm drains, the highway will remain close until the spring. blame it on el nino.

thursday and friday, we can handle 40s not too bad for this time of the year. not bad at all. 9:16 the time. new this morning, three oregon men are being called heros for stopping a man from beating up his girlfriend. police say the man had thrown his girlfriend on the grounds and punching her in the face. sean lolly was the first one to get to him. i couldn't get there fast enough, every step i took it felt like he was taking another punch. he got her two or three times, i was glad to help out. two others jumped in, the men kept the suspect pinned to the ground until police arrived on the scene. the suspect is facing assault charge. the victim is okay. a shocker in the sports worlds from down under that's ahead on "action news" though.

on saturday morning, 9:19. a murder mystery remains unsolved in new castle county delaware. verg are looking for -- investigators are looking for 52-year-old gregory parker. sean spense was found inside parker's home. the motive has not been released. his brother is baffled. i've never seen him with this guy or whatever they are looking for. they believe that the two knew one another, trish hartman has more reaction on the case in the next half-hour. happening today, firefighters in berks county will return to the scene of a fire that seriously injured a

70-year-old man this started yesterday at a home on tuckerton road in muhlenberg township. the man had burns to his hands, neck and face. medics flew him to the hospital. no word on what caused the fire. tests have confirmed that the racoon that attacked the 6-year-old north jersey boy had rabies. the animal jumped on the boy wednesday morning as he was walking to school on the street in elm wood park bergen county. a bystander got the animal off the child and beat it to death with a pole. the child has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. facebook and instagram are telling private sellers to take their guns elsewhere. in the e-mail statement, facebook executive said licensed firearm retailers can post about goods and services, but sales of guns from one person to another

safe after his father held him during a standoff. police removed several guns from the collingdale home where the incident took place. officers said around 1:15, the suspect was high on drugs when he got into argument with the mother of the child. the woman managed to get out of the home with the two of the couple's three children. after the standoff ended the police moved in and the boy was not hurt. a soldier from afghanistan is mourning the death of his son. police are looking for the two killers. they took the light out of our family when they took our donald. >> reporter: the grieving family of donald green remembers the 20-year-old as a good man who loves music and and his family. he always had a smile.

county have identified a person of interest in a murder mystery, now they have to find him. trish hartman has the details. >> reporter: new castle county police are looking for 352-year-old gregory parker. 6'8", 225 pounds, detectives are calling him a person of interest in the homicide inside his home in the mallard court community. i don't know what my brother was doing out here. jermaine johnson said his brother was killed while police identify the victim as shawn spense, he wasn't by shawn johnson. turn yourself in, man, he wasn't worth ain't worth killing, turn yourself in. >> reporter: neighbors in the area couldn't believe when they heard built killing. i'm very surprised because nothing bad happen around here,

at south clinton avenue. it took crews a half-hour to gain control of the fire. the injured person had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. we know saint bernard dogs are famous for making rescues in the swiss alps. but the other day milo was the one who needed to be rescued. the dog fell through the ice of wood glen lake in fairfax county, virginia. during the mastive -- massive blizzard. rescue teams pulled the 120-pound animal from the ice cold waters. we can report milo is doing just fine. that's kind of small for saint bernard, they get really big, they can be up to 250 pounds.
