two suspects approached a man 0 on geiger road in bustleton. they pulled out a gun and one bandit may have flashed a police badge. the robbery happened behind a gun shop that is not connected to the crime. 7:02 in the lehigh valley someone shot two teenage boys walking down a street. this morning police in bethlehem are look for the shooter. the shooting happened on the 1500 block of east 6th street it happened around 6:30. the boys were 14 and 16 years old. one was shot in the head and left critically injury. both had to go through surgery. police are looking for the gun involved and trying to figure out a motive in the case. this septa ryder -- rider is suspect of stabbing another passenger. the two got into a fight and it

investigators are expected to release new information tomorrow about the fatal amtrak derailment that happened in philadelphia. it will be the first major development since the national transportation safety board said excessive speed was the factor in the tragedy in port richmond back in may. investigator say the train was going 100 miles per hour as it approached a curve with a 50-mile an hour speed limit. you may remember 8 people were killed and more than 200 hurt. 7:17. a freshman at virginia tech is in jail charged with first degree murder in the death of a 13-year-old girl. the body of nicole lovele was

found along the virginia border, 100 miles away from her home. it is believed that she crawled out a bedroom window late friday night. 18-year-old david eisenhower became the focus of the investigation. and yesterday police arrested and charged him. investigator say tips from a social media site led to his arrest. all three violent inmates who escaped from the southern california jail are behind bars. the final two were arrested after a citizen told police about a suspicious van in the whole foods store. officers approached the van as oneman fled the area on foot. a short foot pursuit ensued before he was taken into custody by officers. officers immediately returned to the white van and discovered the other escapee, hiding in the

penn presbyterian hospital. while officers were investigating a car struck a patrol car. there were no injuries and police have made no arrests in connection with the beating. out of north philadelphia a young man was shot to death while sitting in his car in front of the pine street market. the gunman walked up to the 21-year-old victim and opened fire blowing out the drivers side window. the driver was hit repeatedly and died at the hospital. police don't have any suspects or motives. new this morning, a house fire in the olney section of philadelphia has left three people homeless. the action cam was at the scene 5400 block of north 5th street. when firefighters arrived after 4:00 a.m., they found flames shooting through the first and second floor of the rear of the home. additional crews were called to the fire. there were no injuries. red cross is finding temporary shelter for the residents.

7:34. a septa ryder another passenger after two got in the fight. the injured rider is in the hospital and severely injured and unable to talk to the police. the search is on for the suspect. jeff chirico has more on the story. >> reporter: detectives say this is the man they want for a stabbing during a brawl on a septa bus that spilled on to a city street. happened on the route 56 bus friday afternoon. a passenger boarded, but couldn't pay the fare. when he wouldn't get off at the next stop. the bus driver waited for police. some of the passengers were upset because it delayed their ride. >> reporter: one passenger was not as patient and pushed the bus hopper out the door, he jumped back in and attacked. looked like a fistfight,

but turns out he had a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the neck and body area. >> reporter: the subject took off. he is described as 5'7", 30 years old and wearing a dark jacket and dark hat with fur. anyone who recognizes is asked to call police. he points out the stabbing could have been presented and pleads with other passengers not to take the law into their own hands. let the police handle these things. septa has a police force and we have a police force, septa did get there in a timely fashion but not fast enough to catch the perpetrator. >> reporter: the victim is in critical, but stable condition at temple university hospital and unable to talk to police because of his injuries. if you recognize the suspect in the images police urge you to call 911. all tips will remain confidential. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." new this morning, from our delaware newsroom, a three-car

her son paris was fighting his way into adulthood when his life was cut short by two men. it happened on january 9, 2015. her 21-year-old son was with three others driving around in a minivan. she texted him urging him to come home. you should not be riding around with these guys, you don't know what they were into. >> reporter: police were called to an auto accident along the 5500 block of american street in olney. he was dead from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. the driver was shot and survived. wright said the driver spoke to her about what happened. gunshots came from the back of the car and i crashed. the only thing i can remember i looked over and paris was slumped over and i heard them say run, run.
