mccoy is under investigation for an assault at a philadelphia nightclub. the breaking details ahead. plus, police are investigating a deadly crash on i-95 in delaware. the presidential hopefuls are making a final pitch to voters ahead of the nation's first primary in new hampshire. the big news is another round of snow heading our way. crews are attacking major highways including the schuylkill expressway. most people will see snow beginning overnight, the question is just how much. meanwhile, a different storm is moving up the coast. it caused flooding if he jersey shore. the streets were covered in flooding this morning. meteorologist david murphy is tracking it all from the "action news" big board. we had two storms we have

one going up the coast. if this storm was closer to the coast, we could be dealing with a major storm snowstorm, but it's not. it's been primed to be well off the coast over the last five days and ended up acting like the models thought it would. we have another system coming in today and tomorrow night. it's a much-less organized system even tricky to call in terms of snowfall amounts and the timing when the snow comes in. getting back to the coastal flood warning that sarah and rick were talking about moments ago it is in atlantic county and north and we expect more flooding at times of high tides tonight. there's a watch up and down this area for tomorrow morning and we could be back to some moderate flooding in parts of the region tomorrow. the other issue, of course is the winter storm watch this kicks in later tonight and

extends into tuesday night and counties we expect to get mainly hit by this would be from philadelphia delaware county, chester county and points south. northern suburbs could get some. we're looking at a general 2 to 4 inches. some of this may have a tendency to melt on road surfaces. tomorrow morning's commute there could slick spots by then there will won't be all the 2 to 4-inch on the ground, maybe less than an inch. we're worried about slushing conditions developing on secondary roads. i'll show you maps where the snow is going to set up. there are some areas that might get less and some get a little more. we'll have that coming up. in the meantime, the "action news" morning show will begin 30 minutes early tomorrow to help you navigate the snow so tune in at 4:00 a.m. for the latest weather and traffic reports on 6abc.

breaking right now, former eagles player will lesean mccoys under investigation for his alleged involvement in an assault at a philadelphia nightclub. sources say it happened at recess lounge in old city and off duty officers were injured. john rawlins is live outside the club with the latest information. john? >> reporter: well, it is an evolving story to say the least. we are expecting official word from the police department soon, although we are not clear when. numerous sources saying the incident, the flash point was over the ordering of champagne. it occurred at the nightclub known as club recessed. it is an apt name as it is recessed beneath an old city parking garage. the altercation took place at 2:30 it involved lesean mccoy and a friend.

the other party consisted of three off-duty police officers one a sergeant. the officers were injured and required hospitalization. mccoy and his friend were not arrested, club recess bills itself as a private members only club. club management sent word it would not speak to reporters until it spoke to police first. we reached out to lesean mccoy's agent drew rosen house, but no comment was the response at this time. sources at this time that two officers suffered head trauma one with a fracture of the skull and broken nose. we reached out to the buffalo bills no word from that organization, as well. we're waiting for the city to put out a formal statement about what might have been involved

over the weekend. john rawlins channel 6 "action news." thank you. a woman involved in a violent attack on a gay couple in center city will be sentenced today. katherine knott was convicted of four misdemeanor accounts. two men were attacked in december 2014. one suffered a broken jaw. two co-defendants are on probation after pleading guilty. from our delaware newsroom, a utility truck driver was killed in a crash on i-95. police found him lying on the southbound lanes near newport. he was taken to christiana hospital where he later died. delaware state police are investigating the accident. well, the presidential candidates are getting ready for tomorrow's new hampshire primary. and kenneth moten reports from manchester. >> reporter: tomorrow marks the 100th anniversary of the new hampshire primary and three small precincts open at

delaware county early this morning. one person was killed along with one being wounded in chester. katherine scott has the very latest. >> reporter: chester police and county investigators multiple times today so far they have not commented on what happened this morning. you can see the markings left over from the crime scene this morning a scene where two people were shot and one person died. those were some of the gunshots she recorded in a phone call with her 23-year-old brother who was riding in the suv with his cousin when she said police opened fire on the 1200 block of keystone road in chester. i said you can't get out the car, he said no. she said her brother called her before 2:00 a.m. to say an officer was behind that as they got off the holland avenue exit

of i-95. she stayed on the phone for 20 minutes. in the end she said shesh cousin an brother were shot. i don't know i was on the phone with them, and i foresure thought egg everything was going to be okay. my cousin is dead and my brother is shot. dorothy said it sounded like 50 shots were fired outside her home a bullet pierced her window. she feared she would be hit. county investigators collected evidence in and around the suv which stopped you up on the sidewalk. family members went to the hospital to try to learn the condition of surviving man, but say police turned them away. they wouldn't let me see my son and right now i'm just like devastated and hurt. >> reporter: the district attorney's office is investigating the case, we hope to learn more as the day goes on. in chester, katherine scott channel 6 "action news."

meteorologist david murphy is back with a closer eye on kind of a changing forecast in the next couple of days. >> reporter: yes, there could periods of snow that could start always early as this evening, and not end until tomorrow night. storm tracker 6 live double scan showing we are dry, after the coast got rain and snowflakes, especially north jersey early this morning. you can see that leftover up by new york. we have the action cam from university city looking across the schuylkill river there. gray skies when we were out there earlier and pretty cloudy right now. temperatures are improving, 44 degrees, wind out of the northeast at 10 miles per hour and beginning to ease back in philadelphia. i could see gusts this afternoon up to 20, 25 at times. it will be stronger the closer you go toward the coast. 38 degrees in trenton. 41 in allentown. 40 in reading. 42 in millville and 42 in cape may, as well.

a little bit windy down the shore because of the passing coastal storm trying to getaway from us, you can see the precipitation pulling away, as well. there are a few breaks in the clouds out to the west, if we're lucky we'll get sun, but the i think the cloud will win out. in the lehigh valley, 40 degrees, snow showers building in theerch. at this evening. at the shore we had tidal flooding there's coastal flood warning down in atlantic city and advisory to the south. 40 degrees in philadelphia. in philadelphia, 45 degrees, morning snow south and east, i can take that out now, because it is over. cloudy and chilly overnight. this evening, after 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. we'll be on the look out for snow showers beginning to build in from the southwest.

we'll have temperatures dip in the evening hours. if you see the snow showers slow down in case you get slick spots. tonight, all the way up to 11:00 p.m. or so, there are the snow showers we're talking about. overnight there will be more of this, you can see by the morning commute you can see them knock down and break a part a little bit. we're in this pattern through tuesday. at times you'll have snow showers coming through, other times you won't. there will be enough of it over the long course of the day into the night we could pile up a small accumulation, we'll go for 2 to 4. far less down the shore where rain mixes in. there's the possibility of some of us going higher. right now i'm placing that higher band out to the west. it is possible as the new model comes in it will draw that closer to the region. 2 to 4 to count on or plan to and some of this will melt on

road surfaces that will be pretreated anyway. right now the gfs was up to 5 inches this nam was up to 7 inches it's come down to 3.4. we're feeling good about the 2 to 4. some of you may go higher. 45, cloudy and breezy today. periods of snow on and off tomorrow, the roads will be wet during the daytime period, 37 degrees on tuesday. wednesday morning there might be a lingering snow shower, not all the models have it, otherwise we dry out, 39 and the next big story in the forecast is how the temperatures drop for the weekend. sunday, 24 for valentine's day. you have to snuggle with your honey. >> reporter: right! or something. >> reporter: object somebody. there's another half-hour of "action news."
