of springtime, and one of those persons is sitting at this desk. hey, what can i say? monday night, the big story is double scan radar. and the system that brought us know today is moving east. it is what is behind that that brings us the messy day tomorrow. and we have the latest on current conditions, but first we get the latest from accuweather double scan radar and meteorologist cecily tynan. >> jim, the storm system not done with us quite yet. the accumulating snow is over, ending a few hours ago. double scan live not a lot of white, but what you see a lot of especially north and west of i-95 is blue. this is freezing rain, and we have patches of heavier freezing rain moving through doylestown and another heading towards berks county. it is changing over to rain really across the interior south jersey and at the coast. with the cold air hanging on at

the surface, freezing rain advisory has been posted for delaware, all the counties surrounding the i-95 corridor and the suburbs including the lehigh valley and berks county until 2:00 in the morning. the reason why, cold air is very heavy and dense. what we have happening, we have the warmer air riding above the colder air, the atmosphere has to warm from the top to the bottom. wildwood is 46 degrees. but in reading, it's 20 degrees cooler. that warmer air will slowly erode towards the northwest and warm everything over to plain rain. and then we have drier air moving in overnight. what to expect tonight, it will be all rain across the board. by 3:00 in the morning. temperatures continue to warm. by dawn, around 50 degrees. so i don't think we'll have any problems with the icing for the morning commute. kids, you are going to school. drizzle the morning rush, and a second part of the system bringing us high winds and heavy

rain that could cause flooding. the details on that in the full accuweather forecast. >> thank you. let's go live to chad pradelli in oaks, montgomery county. what is the situation in the northern and western suburbs? >> well jim, the rain or freezing rain picked up in the last hour. 10:00 we really had no precipitation. i want to show you down here, this is an untreated parking lot and you can see some of the snow from earlier this evening. now it's getting that crust from this frozen rain that is beginning to fall here. that behind me, that road behind that route 422. we have been watching the traffic from this vantage point and it is moving along nicely. but it looks like people are slowing down just a bit. we were out around the delaware valley, drivers need to use caution. tonight mother nature hit us with a dose of winter. the storm with a bit of

southeast. atlantic airport 47, wildwood 46. philadelphia, trenton and wilmington finally climbed above freezing. but reading 26, allentown 27 and the poconos 26 degrees. it's going to be the wee hours of the morning before we get the temperatures above freezing in the far northwest suburbs. satellite 6 and action radar showing what's going on right now. a warm front pushing through, this is all a piece of a much bigger storm system. the storm system actually spawned 15 reports of tornados across the deep south, and that's a cold front. that's what will be moving through tomorrow afternoon. futuretracker showing tomorrow morning not looking at a lot of heavy rain. a little bit of drizzle here or there, and notice the temperatures, 51 in philadelphia at 7:00 in the morning. even in the lehigh valley 46 degrees. i really think kids should be going to school tomorrow morning. then as we head later in the morning around 11:00, some pockets of rain cropping out north and west. and then it really gets heavy around 1:30 in the afternoon.

temperatures close to 60 degrees, right ahead of the cold front. that goes through pretty quickly around 5:30. looking at the impacts of the weather tomorrow, 7:00 low impact. little drizzle and temperatures above freezing not a big deal. and rising and moderate by 10:00. the high impact around 1:00 when we get some heavy rain. 4:00 lessens and by 7:00 out of here. looking at a pretty good soaking in the middle of the day. generally 3/4 of an inch to an inch and a quarter. the morning rush hour a little drizzle, but the heavy rain on top of the ground that is frozen solid will be running off. we could have areas of localized flooding and wind a factor 40-50 miles per hour and could have wind gusts up to about 60 miles per hour at the shore early tomorrow afternoon. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, rainy, windy and very warm. our high up to about 59 degrees. wednesday, it will be breezy with some sunshine, 46. we dropping it down to 40 on
