in the news we have new information about the sightseeing helicopter that crashed in hawaii sparking a dramatic rescue and voters head to the polls in two states tomorrow. we are tracking the presidential push by the candidates. but the big story on "action news" is still developing. police just released a video of a $400,000 jewelry heist in center city philadelphia. it happened saturday, february 13th, the day before valentine's day. two men broke into barski's diamonds. they broke the glass display cases and took a half million dollars worth of merchandise. anything that recognizes the suspects should contact philadelphia police. and a brutal beating after intruders broke into a man's house and attacked him about a baseball bat and a gun. it took place in the port

richmond section of the city and police are still looking for the people behind the attack. katherine scott has the latest. >> reporter: police believe it was a setup and the 41-year-old was able to walk out of his home and he was bleeding and had swelling and bruising and was taken to the hospital for treatment. and detectives here at the east division are investigating this home invasion robbery. police were called out to the 1800 block of east cambria in port richmond and were met by the victim. his apartment showed signs of a violent struggle. police say that a woman knocked on the door and asked to use his phone and the victim let her in. then the men pushed their way in and they asked for money and pushed him in and hit him with a bat and then pulled a han gunned and hit him in the head. >> a female that he was with started scratching him in the face and that is when he

realized that the female obviously had something to do with this. >> the suspects took two video game consoles and 1,000 there's in cash. philadelphia police are looking for a keller after a man was shot to death on a street corner this morning. chopper 6 hd was over the scene as the man's body was discovered on 19th street in philadelphia at 7:00 a.m., homicide detectives arrived a short time later and determined the man was shot in the head and they don't know what motivated the gun fire but the search continues for a suspect. from our delaware newsroom, an industrial inferno kept fire crews busy. look at the flames and billowing smoke, this was a commercial business on the 300 block of west bay boulevard. before 8:00 this morning the building went up in flames and the fire quickly spread. this was the scene from chopper 6 hd and one firefighter was injured and rushed to christiana

hospital in serious condition and the delaware fire marshal's office is investigating a cause. rush hour headache as long i-95 following a tractor trailer accident happened about 6:30 in the northbound lanes of 95 near the walt whitman bridge, for some reason is the driver of the big rig lost control and crashed into one vehicle and struck a concrete barrier. the accident caused big delays on i-95 as traffic was forced to slowly snake by on the shoulder. the cause of the crash is still under investigation. checking temperatures, it's a chilly friday afternoon and accuweather is tracking a big warm-up of the weekend. lets look live at sky 6 hd looking at the center city skyline, the gray skies tell the story. not much sunshine to end the work week and the clouds will clear and the mercury will rise when we wake up tomorrow morning. with more on that meteorologist, melissa magee, is on the terrace and has more on the forecast.
