pockets of light rain right now, the only area with cold enough temperatures to support any frozen precipitation is across the poconos and we do have pockets of freezing rain and winter weather advisory up there for the potential for more freezing rain and back closer to home. the first storm system is moving off the coast of virginia so any of the rain tonight will be tapering off to some light drizzle overnight. i want to focus on round two, and this storm is a lot stronger, the low pressure is moving into louisiana and ahead of it, we have a major outbreak of severe weather, several tornadoes are already parts of louisiana and the tornado watch extends into the paneled of florida and it's an active night of severe weather for the deep south and what that low pressure will do is cut to the west. that means the warm sector of the storm and tomorrow you'll feel the warm and during the morning light drizzle and rain

sara bloomquist is live now with more. >> the meeting between investigators and lesean mccoy's legal team is going on this afternoon, here at the offices at 20th and market. this is a meet that he requested as a preemptive strike. we are not sure mccoy is even here, this is something he with not be required to attend. inside of the lobby waiting to go to cogan's office. they say a meeting like this is unusual. our understanding is that mccoy's team wants to present their version of events. as they prepare for criminal charges that may be filed. they are unsure of any evidence that macon dict that appears to show the melee at the recess

lounge on february 26th at 10:00 p.m. that the former eagle and three friends got into an argument over a bottle of champagne and the video shows them purging and pounding and stomping the officers injuring them badly. his lawyer believes that this is a true case of aggravated assault. >> think the evidence is abundantly clear from what we have seen. and again it's not my job to see who is charged with criminal conduct as a result of this incident but i can assure you someone will be charged. >> "action news" has obtained these photos of officer darnel jessie one of the cops hurt that night. you can see the cut above his eye, he was taken in the hospital, he is wearing a

cousins. >> my brother grew up with them and they were real close. >> it was 1:30 this morning when ruth was driving around on a motorized bicycle a few miles from home. when a driver in a jeep cherokee like this one turned left on macungie mountain road and hit him, he did pull over at first. >> witnesses advised us that twovilles got out of vehicle and then got back in the vehicle and fled down macungie road. they are looking for an older model red jeep cherokee, we spoke with people nearby, this is at least the third accident at this intersection over the past three months. dawn campbell says that speeding is a big problem. >> people pull out and do not expect the person to be going as fast as they are and cannot stop on time and they get sideswiped

much warmer temperatures but a lot of rain. this time tonight stormtracker 6 live double scan we don't have heavy rain but light rain and breaking up in philadelphia and areas to the south and steadier to the north and all of this is lifting up to the north as well. generally a .10 to .25 inch of

rain. round to will pack a bigger punch and temperatures show you we don't have to worry about icing here and a winter weather advisory for the poconos for freezing rain and even allentown and reading up to 45 degrees and wildwood 46 and wilmington 40 and temperatures hold steady overnight. it's not a situation where you wake up tomorrow morning and have ice or snow, this is just liquid. satellite 6 along with action radar showing the system that brought light rain, this is moving off the virginia coast and that means that any of the rain tapering off to drizzle and getting a break overnight. that is round one. round two you can see is a much bigger storm and this storm has delivered severe weather across the gulf coast. several tornadoes and looks like more tornadoes tonight and this tracks to the west and that puts us in the warm sector of the storm and brings a warm surge of

air tomorrow night. we'll see a few areas of showers and not a steady rain overnight and lots of clouds and showers tomorrow morning, pockets of drizzle and not a big deal for the morning commute and as we head through 1:00 this is when the radar beginning to filter in with the steadier rain and the heavier stuff arrives by evening and we are looking at heavy rain especially south and west of philadelphia and as we head into wednesday evening, future tracker 6 showing a squall line develop ago head of a cold front that could contain thunderstorms. right at the same time the low level jet 5,000 feet in the atmosphere will be howling, this means that any areas of rain or thunderstorms could pull the strong winds down to the surface and we could have straight line wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour tomorrow evening and that is damaging winds, so to break down the commutes tomorrow, the
