3:00 p.m., 60. and 5:00 p.m., 59. the normal high for this time of the year is 47 degrees, we're well above the seasonal averages. we are tracking a little bit of rain for the morning commute. we'll time it out on future tracker 6. it's coming up in ten minutes or so. chris, thank you. developing out of northern virginia, a police officer is dead after responding to a domestic incident one day after she was sworn in. officer was one of three officers shot during the incident. when the officers arrived at the house, they found a woman inside had been shot and killed, a man described as a member of the military was arrested in connection with the shooting. the suspect is expected in court tomorrow. prince william county police say the officer was sworn in on friday after rejoining a force she served previously.

100 patrol cars lined the roads outside the virginia hospital this morning to escort her body to a funeral home. developing this morning here at home, police are trying to determine if a man arrested at a northeast philadelphia wawa in connection with the wawa at that store is the same man that held up a 7-eleven in the city about an hour earlier. police say a suspect was arrested after a foot chase was identified as the wawa robber by the store clerk. in both robberies, the suspect entered the store with a crow bar and demanded cigarettes, the police officer suffered a knee injury during the foot chase before making the arrest. tomorrow this campaign goes national. hillary clinton is celebrating a landslide win in

your time 6:12, new this morning, a car crash injured two women and damaged a northeast philadelphia produce store. this happened around 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of oxford avenue and lawndale. two women were taken to einstein medical center with non-life threatening injuries. a pilot and his wife and 13-year-old son managed to walk away from an emergency landing in indiana. the small plane landed along the highway because of mechanical issues. traffic was blocked for a while, but there were no injuries to report. time from accuweather. it's going to be nice today. >> reporter: actually the nice weather will stick around for

killed at a lawn equipment factory yesterday. cedric ford was shot and killed by police, a town hall will be held to answer questions and special church service will be held tonight in the school gym. police in anaheim, california have arrested 13 people after a three people were stabbed during a klu klux klan rally. violence broke out when kkk marchers were approached by protesters. residents were critical of the anaheim police department saying there was not enough presence at the rally. there was a small presence in the 1920s and a small following in the latino community today. a woman has serious injuries after being hit by a car. it happened shortly before 7:00 on the white horse pike elm avenue in lindenwald.

the victim was airlifted to cooper university hospital. a huge fire in lehigh county destroyed several apartments buildings. it happened yesterday morning on front street. the retail spaces in the building were vacant. no word on how the fire started.

we have channelses of showers in the -- chances of showers in the seven-day forecast and the last on the weekend could mix with snow. nydia? developing out of west philadelphia, a violent home invasion has landed a man in the hospital. the action cam was at the scene on the 4700 block of chestnut street. three men in dark hoods broke into the apartment and tied up the man and hit him on the head. the victim freed himself and called 911. he is in stable condition. the suspects are on the loose. police are trying to determine if the home invaders stole anything. from our delaware newsroom, police are looking for suspects and motive in a murder last night. someone shot a man several times in the prides court apartment complex. the man in his 30s was rushed to christiana hospital where he died a short time later. miss new jersey 2013, car mccullum is being laid to rest

summer, police are searching for his killer. here's rick williams with the crime fighter's report. >> reporter: at 2 years old, idodine lost his arm. his mother said he worked hard to overcome that disability his entire life. the 21-year-old was trying to carve out his way in this world. he was trying to find himself. >> reporter: on sunday, july 19 he was hanging out with friends in his neighborhood in north philadelphia. at 11:00 p.m., police were called for shots fired. someone came banging on my door, it was his girlfriend telling me that izzi got shot. i ran around the corner and once i saw him on the street laying down, i couldn't go over there, i just dropped over right there. why would they kill my son.
