identified the suspect. take a look at the 7-eleven in the rhawnhurst section of city, also held up by a man with a crow bar. nobody was injured, but a police officer suffered a knee injury running after the suspect before the man was arrested. a violent home invasion overnight left a man hospitalized. police say two men in hoods tied aman up and hit him over the head several times. the victim got free and called 911. virginia police officers are mourning the loss of one of their own. ashley guindon was sworn into duty friday. she and two others and civilian were shot after a dispute sparked gunfire. officer ashley guindon and the civilian were both killed.

100 police vehicles lined up outside the hospital paying honor and respect to the fallen officer. police have the suspect in custody that person faces possible capitol murder charges. an applies is to blame for a fire at a home in south philadelphia. the resident had to be treated for smoke around midnight. the resident was treated on the scene and not taken to the hospital. police are looking for the person who was shot and killed in newark. shots rang out at the prides court apartments last night. he was taken to christiana hospital where he died a short time later. no arrests in the stabbing of a woman in the septa transit elevator. police released the pictures of the man they were looking for since yesterday morning. police say he tried to rob a woman at the huntington station of the market frankford el in

rink in dilworth park. today is the last day of the season to enjoy ice skating there. you couldn't ask for a better day for it. we'll have more from the rothman ice rink on this beautiful day. trish hartman channel 6 "action news." it's 10:04. philadelphia police are trying to determine if two early morning convenience store robberies are the work of the same man. police say a mantua -- man with a crow bar entered the store. the action cam was along burgeon street where they arrested the suspect after police closed in on him. the 7-eleven in the rhawnhurst section of the city was held up bye-bye a man with a crow bar. nobody was injured, but a police officer suffered a knee injury running after the suspect before

the man was arrested. a west philadelphia apartment was the scene of a violent home invasion overnights. three men dressed in dark hoods broke into the apartment and tied the man you mean and hit him -- tied the man up and hit him over the head he broke free and called 911. officers in virginia are mourning the loss of one of their own. it is particularly difficult because it was her first day on the job. ashley guindon was shot after domestic dispute sparked gunfire. the civilian and ashley guindon were killed. 100 police officers lined up outside the hospital paying respect to the fallen officer. police have a suspect in custody, that person is expected to appear in court tomorrow and faces possible capitol murder

charges. an appliance is to plame for -- blame for a fire in south philadelphia. it happened on emily street around midnight. the resident was treated for smoke inhalation and not taken to the hospital. police are looking for a person who shot and killed a man in newark. shots rang out at the prides court apartment last night. he was taken to christiana hospital where he died a short time later. funeral services will be held for former miss new jersey who will be laid to rest in her home state of arkansas. a service will be held in other honor at the ocean city tabernacle next month. kara kara mccullum died on monday, a week after a crash on route 355 in pits grove township. it's back to the campaign
