stabbed an employee in the chest. that employee is in stable condition, and the second incident happened a few hours later, around 4:30 a.m. this time, the bouncer, was breaking up a fight, he was stabbed in the arm, and was treated at the scene. no arrests have been made just yet. a philadelphia police officer injured his knee chasing a suspect wanted in the robbery of the northeast philadelphia wawa. the just before 3:30 a.m. suspect armed with the crowbar, demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk at this store in the 8100 block of castor avenue. suspect made off with an undetermined amount have of cash, responding officers chased him for several blocks, and the suspect was eventually captured and arrested. police believe he may be tied to another robbery, of another store, earlier in the night. an army staff sergeant, assigned to the pentagon is accused of killing his wife and then killing a rookie police officer in virginia. in fact, officer ashley gwenndon was on her very first day of patrol.
