it's the final countdown to super tuesday, we have a live report from the presidential campaign trail. new on "action news," the drive-by shooting that happened at 31st and tasker avenue as leaders prepare to tack a rash of gun violence in the neighborhood. katherine scott spent the morning at the crime scene and filed this report. >> reporter: the drive-by shooting happened out here last evening. two teens were shot, one is in stable condition, the other critical, but stable condition. this comes as the community is set to gather to talk about reducing gun violence in the area. surveillance video from 5:45 last evening shows the victims standings outside a chinese restaurant in grays ferry, likely waiting for their food, a white or silver car approaches. someone inside opens fire. a 15-year-old was hit in the abdomin and foot. a 17-year-old in the arm and

leg. i seen the guys come out and they were talking. next thing you know the white car came by and i heard gun shots. one teen was hit and ducked into the restaurant, the other took off down the street. the shooting happened on the even of a meeting set to takes place at vere record correction center. -- recreation center. there's nothing for them to do. >> reporter: this man plans to be at the meeting and said the big part of the problem is the lack of activities for young people. in january a man was critically injured after being shot only the 1200 block of south ring gold. two victims were being transported when the vehicle crashed. three weeks ago a cab driver was

man on the road killing him. officials say the victim did not cross the road at the crosswalk. annie mccormick has the latest on the hit-and-run. >> reporter: police say when emergency crews arrived they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. it happened at ace memorial drive when a driver spotted the victim motionless on the roadway. he was identified as jeremiah mccarthy. we don't know what time the crash occurred, we know a passer by discovered the body and called 911. mccarthy was not far from the delaware/pennsylvania border. there's not enough physical evidence to get the make or model of the vehicle. we don't know which direction he was traveling on route 41. we know he was on the
