sanders in a florida, sanders hope to win in illinois. a woman is in police custody as officers investigate whether she was driving drunk before a crash it happened in north philadelphia. two cars collided ending up on the sidewalk at 11th and cecil b. more. firefighters got two injured men from one of the mangled cars, they are in the hospital and expected to survive. the woman suspected of drunk are driving was not injured. philadelphia police need your help to find the man depicted in the sketch on the screen. he is responsible for binding and sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman after forcing her into the woods in her pennypack park wednesday night. he is described as 250 to 300 pounds. medium to light complex and crooked front teeth and tattoo on his chest.

an agreement has been reached that will nj transit workers on the job. the agreement stops a strike that was threatened by workers 12:01 sunday morning. they were going to walk off the job after a dispute that's been going on for five years, that's when the last contract expired. this new agreement avoids the agency's first strike in 30 years. from our delaware newsroom this morning $100,000 worth of drugs are off the streets after police made a big bust in elsmere. officers showed "action news" this right here, the haul of drugs and guns that were confiscated during a bust yesterday. this includes 3 handguns, shotgun and steroids and 25 pounds of marijuana. police arrested 51-year-old robert johnson in connection with the bust. 20/20 aired a special broadcast on the heroin epidemic in america. there's been a sharp increase in

the number of overdose deaths in the u.s. jeff chirico talked to two local families touched by the heroin epidemic. we're losing a generation here. this is a life long fight. >> reporter: they are on the front line of a war they didn't want to fight, against a drug that's killing thousands of americans every year. i caught him doing it in by bathroom. i just i couldn't believe it could happen to me. >> reporter: bidwell said her son and daughter have been in and out of rehab for years, their addictions started with prescription drugs and escalated to heroin. it's the devil inside them. it's the devil, that's how i look at it. they was responsible, she was working and saved her money. >> reporter: pamela got caught up in drugs and overdosed months after leaving rehab. she was 19.

our death rate is higher than it's ever been. >> reporter: district attorney said more than 100 people died of heroin in delaware county last year. jeff goldberg of any lab test in springfield said he has seen an increase in parents testing hair and finger nails for drug use. it's a starting point to say where do we take this and begin the journey for recovery. on my free time i was finding ways to get high. >> reporter: she reads to her daughter's journal across the region hoping it stops the epidemic before it claims another life. i meant people to know it can happen to anybody. >> reporter: the task force has spoken before 15,000 students across the region not just the dangers of heroin, but the

trump said he does not want to condone violence, he called it off, because he doesn't want to see people hurt or worse. my tone is not that of causing violence. my basic tone is securing our borders and having a country and great county bringing our jobs back and manufacturing back. we know police arrested five people, also a police officer had to be taken to the hospital after being hit in the head with a bottle. the chaos comes as trump calls for the republican party to unite. democrat hillary clinton has apologized for a comment praising late first lady nancy reagan. clinton said mrs. reagan started a national conversation about aids in the 1980s. aids activeists said they struggling for years how to combat the aids epidemic.

pressure right here. a heat pump here, similar to a bermuda high pressure system. it decided to plant itself off the other than seaboard not allowing the low to morvel -- move out. temperature-wise it's been nice and mild. you can see the cooler stuff up to the north. chicago will take 36 degrees for this time of the year. bismarck, 35. you can see the 60s regrouping to the south. that pulls north, remember, how the in through here, you get across the central portion of the united states, they are an hour behind, 5:45, they are seeing temperatures in the low to mid 60s, that warmup moves this way into next week. it's a quiet day, increasing clouds. the upper level low lifts to the north, winds shift to the east, lots of clouds expected sunday. maybe a pop-up shower or two during the day.
