54-year-ol54-year-old abdul ande ahmaddiya were arrested. police say saturday night as many as 300 teenagers showed up at their house in the 3900 block of mary street in drexel hill for a party their 17-year-old daughter promoted on social media. >> i will not allow parents to have these types of under age drinking dope smoking parties in the township. it apted going to happen. >> reporter: around 10:30 police started receiving dozens of 9911 calls reporting under aged drinking and loud behavior. chitwood said the first responding officer saw about a hundred teens outside many more when they entered the house and they all scattered when they saw the police, some jumping from windows. >> running through backs of houses, ripping fences down as they run, so now we get another 20 calls, 9/11 about

"action news" reporter vernon odom has more on cleanup efforts. >> reporter: on friday a water main broke heavily flooding the sixth fifth and fourth floors leased by pennsylvania state agencies including dhs, the puc, state police employment training, economic development and equal opportunity. last night managers of some 200 state workers in this building were notified to inform their staffs of the office closure but many told

me they did not get that message and showed up for work this morning only to be turned away. the remediation process includes deploying these powerful fans. state officials are setting up alternative work options in locations for employees and dhs clients to "ensure that the operations involving the employees at this site will continue without further interruption." all online services continue uninterrupted. sometime this evening the agencies respect scheduled to release the alternative locations. but a spokesman for the landlord tells me the cleanup process went on all weekend and the state agencies may be able to move back in virtually right away. >> the building's safe. this building just drying out. we have hygienists and other experts in there to make sure that it stays say. the state agencies have occupied this building since 2009. the flooding did not affect the third floor operations of the newspapers.

the realtor is claiming they can have the floors dry with new carpets down by sometime tomorrow. in the meantime the state is making other contingency plans to get their employees back to work as soon as possible. in center city, i'm vernon odom, channel6 "action news. >> from our delaware news room tonight police have identified the man who died after falling from a roof in newark. police say 20-year-ol 20-year-om golden died. he slipped and pal fell. the incident occurred at a residence where university of delaware fraternity members are living. but golden was not a udel student. >> an investigation is under way tonight after an off duty new jersey police officer was found shot to death in his car. the police officer was discovered this morning in sayreville middlesex county in the parking lot of a closed movie theater. a spokesman said they're still awaiting autopsy results and the circumstances leading to his death have yet to be determined. >> health officials say a

pennsylvania dairy that supplies raw milk has been linked to two listeria cases. the milk came from millers organic farm. one person each in florida and california became infected from the farm's raw milk back in 2014. the florida victim died. officials say miller's organic farm isn't licensed by or inspectord by the state. the farm's owner says the company is still selling raw milk and hasn't gotten any complaints. >> a former philadelphia city leader will head to trial accused of stealing $200,000 from the region's tourism bureau. joyce levitt waved her preliminary hearing today. the former cfo of visit philadelphia is accused of spending that money on dinners skin care and high end clothes. she's facing felony charges of fraud theft and forgery. >> turning to accuweather after one final taste of winter pleasant be doe dose of spring is in store for us here in the delaware valley. looking live outside at the

commodore barry bridge sky6 showing you a pretty picture on a monday night. that snow that came overnight pretty much disappeared as fast as it fell. now we're tracking a warmup. meteorologist melissa magee is in for cecily tonight and she's outside with a first look at the forecast. hi, melissa. >> hi, rick. yeah as you mentioned a nice recovery after some early morning snow showers but we had a bit of a cool stretch over the weekend. on saturday a high of just 47, yesterday 43, today we're coming in at 50 degrees below, below the normal of 54 for this time of year and the cooler numbers did trigger some snow across the region early today. a touch of snow that philadelphia, just a trace but some locations across portions of new jersey picked up a little more than 2-inches of snowfall. you can see there on satellite6 along with action radar, the early morning snow already starting to depart and we did have plenty of sunshine for the bulk of our day but we are starting to watch some instability clouds that are moving on through as we go throughout the rest of the evening hours. so, looking ahead, it is chilly tonight but, hey, a nice rebound on the way.

iphones. >> stocks ended the day with slight gains after wall street opened the week with some early losses. news that home sales fell last month spooked investors if you will but telecommunications and healthcare stocks led a rally late in the day. the nasdaq up 13, the s & p five up by two at the closing bell. >> and turning to health check tonight, more americans than ever are at risk of bad medication interactions. a survey of 4,000 adults found that the number of people using medications which should not be taken together has doubled from eight to 15 percent. researchers cite two prime reasons. more and more diseases are being treated with pills and americans are taking more over-the-counter drugs and supplements. survey leaders say you should tell your doctor about everything you take not just prescription medication. the fda could soon give the final okay for a new treatment for opiate addiction. it is a long acting version of

morning snow showers we had across our region already starting to exit to our east. plenty of sunshine earlier today and now we are watching those instability clouds that are moving on through and again after sunset tonight the clouds will start to dissipate and it becomes mostly clear. the call from accuweather for the rest of tonight, lots of stars, less wind as well. dropping down 226 in allentown, 33 in philadelphia and 35 in cape may for the overnight low. the upper 20's out to the west in lancaster. future tracker six showing you we've got a nice rebound in temperature on the way this week. by 4:00 p.m. on tuesday, we've got high pressure just to our south and east with a warm front draped across our north as well. so, it's 55 at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow in our region, 62 in cincinnati and 68 degrees in saint louis as we get into wednesday, high pressure is well off shore, so it's 71 atlanta, 73 in memphis and we're tapping into the warm air as well with a temperature on wednesday climbing up to 69 degrees. one thing to keep in mind is that with high pressure overhead and relatively dry

lost control of her truck and rolled it over on 495. happened around 7 o'clock last evening in the northbound lanes in edgemoor. police say 33-year-old jodi hoke was thrown from the wreckage and remains hospitalized. she was cited for driving under the influence. two other people in her truck were not hurt. >> philadelphia police are looking for two men accused of robbing a dominos pizza in tioga. surveillance video shows them breaking in. the clerk and a cust can mer put up their hands. the clerk does give up money. the customers on the floor gives up cash. the heist happened about 1:40 march tenth this surveillance video was just released today. three alleged burglars smashed their way into a beer store in somerton. police say the trio stole lottery tickets and cigarettes from beer express in the 11,000 block of bustleton avenue. the store was not opened at the time on february 23rd. the suspects fled in a 1990's tan or beige nissan maxima and

they are 14 and five in spring training play this season. i don't know if that will hold up in the regular season. >> we'll take it. >> they're in first place in something. thank you ducis. >> yes. >> a group of new jersey high school juniors making plans for their future got to see just how many options there are for them to explore. new jersey correspondent nora muchanic has their story tonight. >> reporter: 143 students from burlington township high school ditched the books today for some real life experience that may help them choose careers after high school. >> get a feel for it what a day-to-day basis what we'll be doing the kinds of things we need to work on, skills that we can build up on. >> reporter: it's part of the school district's project path that is stands for pursuing adulthood through high school. the idea is to expose juniors to a variety of jobs locally and let them learn what it takes to be successful in that field. >> having been here for 11 years i understood just how many careers there were inside a school district and this is a very low cost way of trying to allow our seniors -- our

juniors to explore. >> there's some kids that i know that are still -- that are seniors and they don't understand what jobs they want yet. >> having us get this opportunity is just a major step for us. >> reporter: almost 50 mentors including the mayor met with students to describe their work experience and answer questions. the kids also learned about interview skills resume writing and budgeting. >> how much to spends on bills and lump to save for food and to not just below your money. >> if there's anybody interested. we're not going to be here four and i would like to see -- start to nurture that next round of people who are going to run this community. >> reporter: this is the first time project paths has been offered and the district has been preparing for this for a year now. based on the reaction from the kids it was time well spent. >> it was definitely worth it. we got to open up to new job opportunities like public works mechanics, real world jobs. >> definitely increased my interests about being a police officer. >> reporter: so it's a good day then or it's been worth it.

the sickened birds are being treated tonight. trish. >> reporter: monica, three surviving eagles are in stable can condition here in newark, delaware. five of the eagles throw were not so lucky and officials are trying to figure out why. this is one of the majestic bald eagles found over the weekend sick and disoriented in dagsborough delaware 11 birds suffering from some sort of mystery illness. five didn't make it but three are being treated here at tri-state bird rescue in newark. this photo shows one of the young eagles being tube fed at the rescue. >> most of the birds that are brought to us for care, they've been injured because of some interaction with man. so, this might be just another type of injury that's man-made. >> reporter: the first bald eagle was found dead in a field in dags borrow on saturday about two hours south of wilmington. not far away a group of disoriented birds was discovered and captured but not all of them survived the
