and rick will be along later. i'm alicia vitarelli and in the news this afternoon a big weekend in philadelphia. march madness comes to town and brings thousands of fans along with it. and train traffic comes to a halt following an accident on the tracks in delaware county. but the big story on "action news" is the new raids underway in belgium today. police areng down more of the bombing suspects. u.s. officials confirm that two americans are among the dead. for all of the new developments we go live to marcy gonzales in new york. >> reporter: alicia there are already several arrests during the ongoing raids in belgium, it's unclear if they are related to the brussels attacks as the manhunt continues for two of those terrorists. >> trying to close in on the terror ring behind the brussels

terror attacks, more raids today in belgium. and overnight police in the neighborhood where the killers stashed their bombs arresting at least seven people. but the main targets, two suspects involved in carrying out the attacks still on the run, one of them the man in the black hat seen on the surveillance camera seen with the two suicide bombers. mason wells was also near the scenes of the terror attacks in boston and paris was checking in for a flight in brussels when the blast went off just feet away. >> don't know if i was born under a lucky star but i am fortunate to escape with the injuries i did at the airport being so close to the bombs. >> 31 people killed at the airport and subway station two american citizens and two dutch

new jersey you'll notice the showers moving in. so the showers are starting to dissipate from a west-east direction this afternoon. despite the showers we have a southwesterly wind and temperatures are responding nicely. 68 in philadelphia and average for us this year is 56, and 67 in reading and 61 in the poconos, the coast in cape may 53 and 67 out to the west in dover. so the early afternoon and evening commute showing you not bad, the clouds and moisture overhead right now but we'll clear out this afternoon. 70 at 4:00 p.m., and 67 at 5:00 p.m., we drop down to 64 early this evening at 6:00 p.m. but still sunny and bright conditions at 63 at 7:00 p.m. tonight. we'll talk about what is ahead and we have the early showers now and it will turn brighter this afternoon and cool and dry for easter weekend, we have you covered with all the easter egg hunts on tap.

katherine scott has the latest. >> reporter: the teenager was standing outside of her building when she was hit by a stray bullet and was taken to the hospital in serious condition. >> a stray bullets strike a teenager in hunting park. police are searching for the person that pulled the trigger. officers were called out last night at 11:30, a 16-year-old girl was talking to her older sister on the front steps of their building and they heard a shot and the teenager soon realized she was hit in the thigh. >> she immediately ran into her house and family members treated her. medic as rived and rushed her to the hospital. >> the shots were fired in an eastern direction. police are trying to identify the shooter and hope that nearby surveillance cameras can give details. >> at least four separate businesses in the immediate area

an arrest has been made in connection with the death of a toddler in indiana. the little girl went missing from her father's home around midnight tuesday, her body was found last night near a river. an autopsy is set for today to try to find out how she died. a 22-year-old man is in custody but he has not been charged and is not talking. check out this new video of a daring clothing store heist. someone drove a car straight through the front window and moments later about a dozen thieves rushed through the opening and loaded up on stolen goods, this happened at a store in indianapolis last week. some north carolina shoppers are shocked to learn that one of the state's most popular malls was doubling as a meth lab. police say that former mall employee lindhy pestone was cooking the drug in a store that recently shut down.

topping business news this noon, verizon would be the latest company to fall victim to a hack attack. they were able to steal millions in information from customers. they targeted the verizon solution unit that provides i.t. services to other companies and verizon is notifying everyone that was affected. the dollar general chain is adding 200 stores over the next few years. the company hasn't announced the new locations just yet but we do know they will be opening over the next two years. turning to health check this noon, it turns out that mammograms can pick up health
