half million-dollar bail. it is friday night, and the big story on "action news" tonight is the latest on the abduction and return of this seven week old baby. tonight, we are hearing from the baby's mother. "action news" reporter dann cuellar is live at the king of prussia mall where the kidnapping happened. dann, you have talk to malika hunter what is she thinking and what is she saying tonight. >> well, jim, malika hunter is telling me she has not been able to sleep since her ordeal. she's still in the state of shock and now fear about taking her children out in public. >> that was like one of the worst nights of my life. one of the worst nights. >> reporter: twenty-five year-old malika hunter describing her horrific nightmare at king of prussia mall where this woman three two-year old cherie amoore of tredyffrin township is accused of kidnapping her seven week old baby ahsir simmons. our cameras was there when hunter was reunited with her unharmed son.

>> crazy. >> he is doing great. he is doing great. he is with a bunch of family, loving arms and we are glad to have him back. >> reporter: amoore, according to court records told investigators she was trying to fill a void after losing her own baby in february, shortly after birth. she told detectives that i held him, and all of those feelings rushed back. i just wanted my baby. it felt like i was holding my son again. it felt so good. i didn't want to lose that feeling. i was crazy. >> so, you come along and take somebody else child to fill your void and leave me try to one is not right. i had to suffer the same but you don't see her out here. they are children. >> i lost my son and i was hurt, and what i never wanted to do was put that hurt on somebody else. so for her to say and use that as an excuse that is not an excuse. >> reporter: malika with another young boy, says her children are her world and while she's grateful to have

the case, they are not, identifying the victim just yet. chopper six was also over a deadly crash in pennsauken, late tonight where a car struck a pedestrian. it happened at 9:00 o'clock on route 07 near browning road. police are releasing few details, as the investigation is in its early stages. police in camden are trying to track down a man who allegedly shot his mother in the chest, late this afternoon. "action news" reporter jeff chirico is live at cooper university hospital where the mother has died. jeff, you've got the full story. >> reporter: jim, family members kept asking over and over again how could a son do this to his own mother? i spoke with the victim's daughter off daughter a little while ago. she told me she saw her brother pull the trigger a and she wants him caught. as grieving family members gathered at the hospital police conducted an interstate manhunt for the man who allegedly shot his own mom. it happen just after 5:00 p.m.

on the 1100 block of north 18th street. it is unclear what led up to the shooting but neighbor sammer jackson said he raced out identify when he heard a gunshot. >> i saw him running back. i ran outside. >> reporter: neighbors say 38 year-old ira sanchez had been shot in the stomach and satan these steps until paramedics arrived. did youe what happened to pedro. >> i didn't see him. he was long gone. >> reporter: after the shooting witnesses say 20 year-old pedro sanchez who lives here drove off possibly into philadelphia. >> he was always there. i never thought he was that type of person to do what he did to his mom. >> as far as i know him and his mom have been on rocky terms. >> reporter: this woman who has a child with pedro sanchez said she didn't think the strained relationship would end like this. >> i was just out here talking to him. he was telling me how he wanted to look for a job and find a job, how he wanted to visit the my nephew. >> reporter: art the hospital police questioned this woman who claimed to have spoken to the alleged shooter after

center city. the next couple of days will see a bit of everything including some rain, and how long winds. let's get the latest from double scan radar and cecily tynan. >> jim, it will be a wild ride, today we hit 80 degrees with loads of sunshine. then we had those storms roll through. double scan live is showing that the storms have moved off shore. we have a few scattered showers across parts of delaware right now but a wider view is showing that there is another low pressure system that will ride up along the front and that will bring up some more wet weather, during the day tomorrow. it looks like the bulk of it will happen, the first half of the day and most of it will be around philadelphia and area south and east, 10:00 o'clock tomorrow morning you can see some showers, rolling across south jersey and delaware. then we will see some breaks of sunshine late in the day, however, is there an arctic front waiting in the wings. that rolls rolls through late on saturday night, and then that brings us some big changes for the second half of the weekend.

trump said this week that japan and south korea should consider building their own nuclear weapons. donald trump had no public appearances today but john kasich, and ted cruz focused on the state of pennsylvania. pennsylvania's primary is april 26th, and kasich told the town hall meeting that he is the only republican who can beat hillary clinton in the fall. ted cruz made his first campaign visit to pennsylvania today, in camp hill. he told the pennsylvania leadership conference that pennsylvanians can expect more jobs and better pay, if he was elected president. meanwhile hillary clinton was stumping for support in syracuse kicking off her campaign for the new york primary. she talk about her eight years as a senator from new york, and said that she wants to put that experience to work for both new york state and the rest of the america. bernie sanders was in wisconsin today where he once again, blasted clinton for taking campaign money from lobbyist, working for the oil
