from the king of prussia mall said the terrifying ordeal has left her stunned. >> reporter: the mother of the child who has been abducted has not been able to sleep since her ordeal. she is in a state of shock since it happened and fears of taking her children out in public. that was one of the worst years in my life. >> reporter: 25-year-old a mother describes her terrifying experience at king of prussia mall. our cameras were there when hunter was reunited with her unharmed son. >> reporter: how is ashir doing? >> reporter: he is doing great. amor told investigators she was trying to fill a void after losing a baby in february

shortly after birth. i held him all and the feelings rushed back, i just warranted my baby. it felt like i was holding my son again, it felt so good, i didn't want to lose that feeling, i was crazy. for you to come along and take somebody else's child to fill your void. that's not right. i have a sister who suffered that loss, you don't see her out here. i lost my son and i was hurt i don't want to put that hurt on somebody else. for her to use that as an excuse that's not an excuse. the ordeal has left her scarred. from this situation i don't want to go outside i just want to keep my kids in the house where they are safe. figure somewhere my kids are a target now, i don't want to go nowhere. meanwhile, amoore has been

charged with kidnapping and related offenses. she has not been able to post her 500,000-dollar bail and being held at the king of prussia correctional facility. a woman found in a home was killed before the fire started. the firefighters were called too west bristol street in tioga nicetown. they put the fire out in less than a half-hour, as they searched the debris they found the body. police are not talking about a crash that killed a pedestrian in south jersey. the car hit a victim on browning road around 9:00 p.m. we'll keep you posted as new information comes in. your time 6:05 now to the race for the white house,

hillary clinton campaign said the candidate is coming to philadelphia next week. events are scheduled in philadelphia and pittsburgh wednesday. her campaign said she'll talk about breaking down barriers that hold back americans. the pennsylvania primary happens april 26. the world war between clinton and sanders is heating up. sanders is calling on the secretary of state to apologize to his campaign. thursday clinton was confronted by a climate activist if she would reject fossil fuel money. she said sanders is lying about her, sanders said he told the truth and clinton has relied on funds from the fossil fuel industry. john kasich followed up his visit on thursday with a town hall meeting in harrisburg. he grew up in mckey --

mckees rocks outside of pittsburgh. hetrump had no public appearancs yesterday. president obama said the threat of isis or other terrorists gaining access to nuclear materials is one of the greatest threats to global security. the remarks comes always he met with other world leaders to strengthen nuclear security worldwide. marcy gonzalez reports. >> reporter: protests outside the nuclear security summit in washington, d.c. where president obama met with more than 50 world leaders, the last day of the summit focused on the potential risk of terrorists accessing nuclear materials. heightens concerns that building a dirty bomb is likely a goal of

us with a look at our weekend forecast. it was great yesterday. >> reporter: that's one thing we will not have to worry about. with all the crazy weather on the table, flooding is not an issue. we have showers in the forecast, special throughout the morning hours. we're seeing them in south jersey and far western suburbs. nothing too terribly heavy. there's the view in atlantic city. it's damp and dreher, -- dreary, the winds will howl overnight tonight. boaters probably not a good idea to get in the water. there will be clouds out there, as well. here's double scan live we have a couple of batches of moisture one hugging the coastline, showers across the western suburbs. high winds warnings in effect midnight tonight through lunchtime on sunday. it's for the delaware valley where gusts could reach 55 miles

per hour at times. 59 degrees right now in philadelphia. that's actually still very, very mild for this time of the year. the normal is only 57. we're above that. dewpoint, 41. pressure reading starting to fall off, 29.60 inches. the winds out of the north, northeast at 17 miles per hour. millville, 59. philadelphia, 59. trenton, 54 degrees. there's the satellite and radar shot, you can see the moisture starting to build across the mid atlantic states. all light shades of green, nothing heavy. showers out by gettysburg and york. cold front starting to approach from the great lake states. future tracker, throughout the morning it will be damp and cloudy showers across south jersey. it should get out of here quickly. combination of sun and clouds. and then the front charges in.

it's a polar front. we're looking at wind speeds at 8,000 feet. you go 500 feet up in the air we have a pocket of wind riding 60 to 80 miles per hour. some of this gets transferred to the surface. this afternoon we see breezy conditions, and down right wind overnight tonight, gusts 50 to 60 miles per hour. the forecast models have the wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour after midnight tonight. after the first part of the afternoon. it's winds early, breezy by afternoon, the pocket of wind pulls northward into new england. 80 degrees yesterday for the high, tomorrow morning we're talking windchills in the teens, far western suburbs, it may be overdone a little bit. low 20s for philadelphia. all day long it's going to be a struggle just to get out of the 0s with the winds. temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 40s with the winds it will feel like the 30s. 62 degrees in philadelphia.

in tragedy when an officer could not save a driver trapped in a fiery crash. the officer attempted to pull over a car without a license plate in mall borough township. there was a short chase and the officer asked state police to take it over. as he waited he heard the car crash on main street in red hill. the officer rushed to save the driver, but unable to make the rescue. the officer was treated for smoke. shock and exhaustion that's what a mother said she is feeling after being reunited with her kidnapped baby taken from the king of prussia mall. 32-year-old cherie amoore is accused of abducting ashir simmons after befriending his mother in the mall. police have not confirmed that she had been pregnant.

on the 1100 block of 18th street. her daughter tells "action news" she witnessed her brother padro sanchez pulling the trigger. family and friends are pleading with him to turn himself into police. police in radnor are ready for anything as the township gets riled up for the big game. the department is increasing staffing for the matchup between the wildcats and the sooners. they are encouraging people to party on campus away from center of traffic. they will watch car pus from an operation center they set up over the weekend. okay, now to the fun stuff we're counting down to nova's big final four appearance. the wildcats are two wins away from their national championship

the carolinas as they await the worst of the storm system. meteorologist chris sowers tracking our forecast, we may be experiencing some severe weather later on tonight, tomorrow. >> reporter: not in the form of thunderstorms and tornados nothing violent like that. we could have gusty straight line winds that will rip through, they could reach 60 miles per hour which which is tropical storm force winds. no severe weather, but it will get wicked around here for sure. view of cape may, we have clouds and rain falling on the beach this morning. we have rain pushing through delaware valley. one is working up the coast and one up the delaware river from wilmington to trenton. we'll zoom into the western suburbs first, actually we will not. i must have taken that graphic out. we have heavier cells developing south and west of philadelphia, the hot chocolate 15k is in

philadelphia. you'll have downpours running that race, be ready for that. temperatures very, very warm. the normal is 57 degrees. 63 monday, 61 wednesday, 71 thursday, a whopping 80 degrees yesterday. we had a little bit of humidity across south jersey and delaware, felt like 82 or 83. now, the first of two cold front is pulling through. temperatures are dropping off a little bit. we're in the 50s shooting for a high of 62. 59. as the light rain pushes through, the numbers will drop down. down in the 50s by lunchtime and the numbers come back a up always the sun peeks through. reading, 59. cape may, 55, millville, 59. it's from washington, d.c. to new york city. cold front quickly approaching from the west. this is an arctic front. had this guy got in here in january or february this would put high temperatures in the 20s and windchills in the

single digits and teens. fortunately it is april so everything modifies a little bit. the first front pushes through now, showers, the second front comes in overnight tonight and tomorrow ushes -- pushes the first front out to sea. gusty winds tomorrow, windchills in the 30s all day. showers in the late morning hours into the first part of the afternoon. clouds give way to sunshine, later in the day, but again the big story as we head into next 24, 48 hours will be the passage. front. strong gusty winds, winds 25 to 5 miles per hour. sustained some of the gusts could reach 06 miles per hour. it's going to treat difficult traveling conditions in particular, roads that run north to south you will pick up the cross winds 60 miles per hour. difficult traveling conditions, down trees and power lines that could create power outages.

everyone, 6:53, saturday morning, it's going to get colder out there. yesterday we topped out at 80 degrees, today 62. tomorrow the temperatures fall off a cliff. high pressure has been in control over the last few days, it's a heat pump high, that's why we were so warm. it will drift to the southeast it will allow the colder air pull in from the northern tier states mid atlantic great lake. it will turn colder over the next 48 hours. we have a similar version of the polar vortex that is displaced from the pole sitting over the hudson bay. this whole area is chilly. we'll see a series of high pressure systems at the surface ride around this thing like a pin wheel. it first one arrives sunday, 40s tomorrow, 40s for tuesday, in between we top out in the 60s. speaking of 60s this afternoon

a birthday celebration more than a industry in the making took place in new jersey yesterday. helen turner mark her 109th birthday. oh, my goodness. she was surrounded by a room of loved ones at the brandywine senior living homes in linwood, atlantic county. helen was a teacher for 38 years, she started her teaching career in a one room school house in maryland. her love of education started before that, when she was a little girl she rode to school by horse and buggy. i love being here i'm happy. so glad you're here with us. that is beautiful. 109. last year helen joined facebook and has more than 1100 friends. we wish her well.
