child that had been abducted has not been able to sleep since her ordeal she is in a state of shock since that happened. and fears of taking her children out in public. that was one of the worst nights of my life. >> reporter: 25-year-old drying her horrific nightmare at king of prussia mall. this woman, cherie amoore accused of kidnapping her 7 weekend son ashir simmons. >> reporter: how is he doing? he was doing great, with a bunch of of family and loving arms. we're glad to have him back. >> reporter: amoor said she was trying to fill a void after losing her baby shortly after birth. she said all the feelings rushed back, it felt like i was holding

my son again. for you to come along and take somebody else's child and fill your void, that's not right. i have a sister who suffered that and she is out here. i lost my son, i was hurt, when i never wanted to do was put that hurt on somebody else. for her to use that as an excuse that's not an excuse. >> reporter: malika said she has another child, ahmad. i don't trust no one. figure somewhere, my kids are a target now. i don't want to go nowhere. >> reporter: meanwhile, amoor has been charged with kidnapping and related offenses. she has not posted her $500,000

bail and being held at king of prussia correctional facility. a woman found dead in a burning home was killed before the fire started. firefighters were called to a row home on the 1900 block of west bristol street in tioga nicetown last night. they were able to bring the flames under control in less than an half-hour. they say they searched through the debris and that's when they found the woman's body. homicide detectives are working the case. police are not talking about a crash that killed a pedestrian in south jersey. a car hit the victim on route 70 near browning road in pennsauken, camden county. this happened around 9:00 p.m. we'll keep you posted as we collect more information. and now we turn to the race for the white house. hillary clinton campaign says the candidate is coming to philadelphia next week. events are scheduled in philadelphia and pittsburgh on wednesday. her campaign said she'll talk

about breaking down barriers that hold back americans. the pennsylvania primary is april 26. the war of words between hillary clinton and bernie sanders is heating up. sanders is calling for an apology to his campaign after clinton was confronted by a climate activist who asked if she would stop taking fossil fuel money. clinton said sanders is lying. sanders says he was telling the truth about the fossil fuel industry. john kasich was in pennsylvania yesterday. he grew up outside of pittsburgh. ted cruz was in harrisburg saying he and frontrunner, donald trump have path to winning the republican nomination this summer.

two firefighters in new jersey are facing possible suspension for a facebook post. danielle zepp posted this invite of her wedding on facebook. it violates a two week old policy of the garfield, new jersey fire department. it bans photos that can link anyone back to the garment where the bride and groom -- department where the bride and groom fell in love. it's our home. it makes our love special. she said it puts the town in a positive light and should be shared with the public. the chief should have final say on the department policy. water surrounded an 85-year-old woman in a her car, along came her saviors because she survived. people smashed out the windows.

minutes i'll have the seven-day forecast and give you all the specifics. gray send it back to you. storm tracker 6 live double scan radar at any time of the day our website head to 6abc.com/weather. new this morning, a philadelphia police officers on patrol may have kept a burning home from becoming the scene after tragedy. they saw smoke coming out of the 2400 block of north stanley street in strawberry mansion. they called firefighters who quickly arrived and rescued a woman hanging from a window yelling for help. the woman was treated for smoke and expected to make a full recovery. new this morning, a police chase in montgomery county ended in tragedy when an officer could not save a driver trapped in a fiery crash. the officer attempted to pull over a car without a license, but the driver sped away. there was a short chase, but the

officer called it off and asked state police to take it over. as he waited he heard the suspect's car crash on the 300 block on main street in red hill. the officer rushed to save the driver, but unable to make the rescue. the police officer is being treated for smoke inhalation. 7:34 shock and exhaustion that's what a some more said she is feeling after being reunited with her kidnapped baby taken from the king of prussia mall. 32 cherie amoore is accused of abducting ashir simmons after bee fringed his mother in the mall. amoore said in court she kidnapped the child to relieve the feeling of holder -- holding her own newborn and she said she lost in february. police have not confirmed she was pregnant. there was no apology i would set for that.

the trigger. other family and friends are pleading with him to turn himself into police. there was a turnout in center city to help a hero. a fundraiser was held in support of jesse hartnett whose arm was shattered by gunfire when he was attacked by a gunman in january. many showed their solidarity by wearing t-shirts with the officer's name. all right, 7:36 is the time. excitement in the air, we're a little more than ten hours away from tipoff of tonight's big final four game between the villanova wildcats and the oklahoma sooners. the cats are two wins away from the national championship since 1985. of course the players are hard at work preparing to hit the hardwood later tonight. coach jay wright kept a watchful eye on their the players as they prepare for the biggest game of their college careers.
