and donald trump is trailing in wisconsin. the latest from the campaign trail before the next big primary. the big story on "action news" is new developments in the deadly amtrak crash in delaware county. the train slammed into a backhoe yesterday. now investigators need to find out why the equipment was left on an active railroad track. katherine scott is live near the crash site in trainer with more. >> reporter: that's right, sarah and rick we are standing in the area where the train came to a stop after the fatal crash the train has been removed to the secure location. the two people who died were amtrak employees. there names have not been released and there autopsy are being conducted today. today trains passed through the site in trainer where sunday investigators surveyed the damage from a fatal amtrak crash. initial impact tombs in chester,

but -- took place in chester, but train number 89 traveled about a mile before coming to a stop. we hit something, you can see the impact it was a big bang. more than 300 passengers were on boar the savannah-bound train 8:00 a.m. sunday when it slammed into a backhoe on the track also. the backhoe operator and supervisor both amtrak employees were killed. on board the train, the ceilings cairveld -- caved in, passengers were knocked to the ariels -- aisles. rapid deceleration and the car filled with smoke. the train hit a backhoe, multiple injuries reported. >> reporter: dozens of passengers were rush to the hospital. while the rest hauled their
