the heavy steady rain centered around mid-day has lifted over new england but we have scattered activity moving in right now, so keep the umbrellas on hand because it's not a completely dry england, stormtracker 6 live double scan shows the main activity began around baltimore at 11:00, this is when we had a triple point low form and what that does is create a good amount of lift, we have severe thunderstorms in chester and northampton county and there is nothing severe but one thunderstorm cell near atlantic city and scattered showers working into western chester county. earlier today some of these storms did pack a punch. acland and chester reported trees down and the high school a scoreboard was actually blown over with the wind and the queen city airport in allentown reported a wind gust of 49 miles per hour. and some storms did have small hail.
