"action news" reporter jeff chirico has details. >> he tried to rob the wrong one. >> reporter: viewer video shows aftermath of the police involved shooting. off-duty officer pointing his weapon at a robbery suspect lying on the ground, fatal willly wounded. incident began two blocks away in the 5700 block of park avenue. an officer intervened when he saw the suspect robbing another man. police say the alleged robber pointed a gun at the officer who fired his weapon. evidence markings show multiple bullet casings, the suspect collapsed in front of the mobile phone store at broad and chew streets where brian was watching. >> we see where he got shot at

man from his jeep following a car crash, early this morning. it happened just before 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of 38th and walnut street in west philadelphia. police say that the victim was inside of a black jeep, screaming for help, and the officer was able to pull him to safety through the sun roof. he and four others, were taken to the hospital, in stable condition. police say alcohol, may have been played a role here. investigators are trying to find out what started a a deadly fire in berks county. fire started a at about 2:30 this morning in oley township. a man died shortly after being pulled from the burning home. victim's name has not yet been released, an autopsy is being planned to determine the cause of death. two fire fighters and a local police officer were also transported to the hospital, for non-life threatening injuries. from our delaware news room police in new castle county arrested a man accused of trying to steel a car and injuring two officers, as he a tempt todd get way. police arrested calvin warren yesterday.
