updates throughout the day. police in bucks county are searching for the driver who slammed into a house and ran off. we know this all happened after 5:30 a.m. on the 2200 block of monroe avenue in bensalem. that's where we find trish hartman with the latest on the investigation. the homeowner also -- homeowners are so lucky they were not hurt, right? >> reporter: absolutely, nydia. i want to show you how lucky the family is. the car came from behind this property across the street. sailing through the yard hitting the shed and flew across the street landing into the living room of the home. police are searching for the driver. the homeowner told the driver to call 911 before taking off. the car missed hitting her. i'm blessed. >> reporter: barrett davis and his wife are counting their

blessings after an suv crashed through their home on monroe avenue at 5:00 a.m. dolly davis just out of the hospital was sleeping downstairs when the crash happened. heard something that sounded like thunder. i came downstairs there's a car. dolly ran to the neighbor's house for help, barrett was trapped inside. >> reporter: they got him down they had to pull the railing down from the steps to get him down. police say the car went airborne and went through a neighbor's yard damaging the shed before crashing into a house across the street. neighbors say they saw a suspect fleeing the scene. it was going on 5:15. we opened the side window and we see the one guy running over there. now, dolly davis was taken to the hospital for chest pains after the crash. we are told she is in stable

condition. township inspectors will determine if the house is inhabitable. in the meantime the family is being helped by the red cross. trish hartman channel 6 "action news." gray. so glad to hear nobody was hurt. thank you for the update. police are searching for a killer after a man was shot outside a north philadelphia bar. the 26-year-old victim was walking out of the neville bar when one shot him pointblank in the chest on east allegheny avenue. police rushed him to the hospital. he died a short time later. no arrests have been made. developing at noon, philadelphia police are searching for the gunman who targeted two 7-eleven stores overnight. the first robbery happened at 2:00 a.m. on the 79 hunt block of frank -- 7900 block of frank formed avenue in holmesburg section of the city. they demanded money and cigarettes. investigators say it looks like a few mingles later, the same --
