just a few minutes. right now i want to get you caught up on breaking news. police are looking firefighter medic was killed and firefighter was shot by the person they went to help. they are told he unloaded bullets from the inside the home as the firefighters tried to get inside. the shooter shot the neighbor who called 911 and did survive. camden police are looking for leads in a shooting, a man was shot in an alley around 1:30. this happened the 100 block of morton street. the victim was rushed to cooper university hospital in serious condition. the police are searching for the shooter. 58th grade girl accused

of stabbing a classmate with scissors earlier this week. e has been charged as a juvenile. this occurred inside cook elementary. the victim was stabbed in the chest and arm and expected to be okay. she'll be back at school on monday. lawyers for bill cosby were in federal court yesterday learned that his accuser is entitled to any documents or e-mails bill cosby's lawyer shared with former montgomery county d.a. bruce castor. caferlt said he promise -- castor said he promised cosby he would never be charge in the case. a local woman was infected with the zika virus. health leaders in new jersey say a woman in camden county tested positive for the virus.

sounds good, thank you so much. new on "action news," a philadelphia police officer is injured in a crash while responding to help another officer. the officer's cruiser slammed into a car in west philadelphia. the 16th district officer will be okay and taken to penn presbyterian hospital to be treated. the driver of the car was not seriously injured. the officer who called fore help was dealing with an armed man. someone shot a man 12 times outside a north philadelphia bar. the 23-year-old victim was critically injured. the shots were fired outside j and s tavern on germantown avenue. the detectives hope the customers can shed light on who shot the man an provide a motive. there's breaking news from overnight and sad news coming from maryland. a fire medics shot while answering a call died. a volunteer firefighter was shot

and rushed into surgery. the shooter was the person that they were going to help. this happened at a house in temple hills, maryland. not far from washington, d.c. overnight the firefighters were identified, 39-year-old fire medic and served 13 careers in - years in the department has died. and kevin swain listed in serious condition. as they arrived they saw the person who they thought needed help. they knocked on the door and received no answer and they began to force entry to renner care, as they were forcing entry several rounds were fired from the house through the door. the shots were fired by the person who needed help. the gunfire stopped when the police rushed in to arrest the

shooter. the suspect is cooperating, the motive is not clear. the person who called 911 was shot and not severely injured. aftershocks continue to rock japan after powerful earthquakes killed 29 people. a huge crack left in one of the roads there. 6.5 magnitude struck yesterday and 7.3 hit today. on coming rains could make it more difficult there. crews are keeping an eye on mount asta which erupted at the same time of the quakes. and 120 properties without water that's not what's making the families upset. the water main erupted along north simpson street in north philadelphia. it sent water bubbling up to the streets and rising into folks' basement. neighbors were angry when they learned they will be response responsible for the repairs. we'll have to pay for it. i'm tired of it. block by block, the city is not taking care of the problem, they are putting the problem on the taxpayers. my basement is flooded, muddy. things are ruined in my home an i don't understand. the neighbors say a contractor had been working in the area at the time. the water department shut off all service to 120 properties while they tried to real estate pair the broken main. billboards are popping up across new jersey asking chris christie to denounce donald
