>> reporter: i should have on something heavier heavier than this. temperatures dropped in the 0s believe it or not. slatington, 38. quakertown, 37. warrington, 41. center city, 47. levittown, 44. we have a light breeze out of the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour that's putting feels-like temperatures down in the 30s, which i will show you later in the broadcast. glassboro, 44. agenda beach, 41. hammonton, 43. wood by any, 44. sea isle city, 49 degrees. yesterday at this time we were in the 60s. this is going to be a shock to the system if you're heading out early this morning, you'll need a coat, but you'll need sunglasses as you can see on the satellite and radar loop there's nothing going on. we have clear skies, high pressure will dominate the weather pattern today and tomorrow and at least for the first part of tuesday before showers and thunderstorms arrive

by afternoon. so the day planner looks good, mostly sunny, conditions, 1:00 p.m., 63. 3:00 p.m., 66. 5:00 p.m., 68 degrees that will will be the forecasted high in the city this afternoon. a little bit cooler down the shore because of an onshore breeze. it could be a couple of degrees warmer than that in the lehigh valley. temperatures are forecasted to range anywhere from 68 to 70 for places like bethlehem, allentown and reading. rain chains -- chances we don't have anything today or tomorrow. but there's a 70 and 60% chance on tuesday and thursday. we'll talk about that and time it out for you on future tracker 6. things you need to know this morning you need a coat and probably need gloves. you'll need to stay warm. it's colder out here now than yesterday at this time. chris, thank you. we have a developing story out of north philadelphia. a teenager was gunned down during a fight involving several people outside a lounge.

the action cam was at the scene of the 400 block of east wyoming avenue. the 17-year-old boy was shot around 3:30 a.m. in front of the emergency cafe and lounge which was closed at the time. the victim was taken to saint christopher's hospital for children where he died. a woman managed to make a dramatic came 11 hours after she was abducted and sexually assaulted. neighbors were stunned by the woman's screams yesterday afternoon on the 5700 block of larchwood street in southwest philadelphia. the woman was sexually and physically assaulted and bound with duct tape. she was forced into the carat 4:00 a.m. the suspect is a 23-year-old black man with a dark complex and dread locks and long beard. he was a car with tinted windows

and trash bag over the drivers side window. candidates are making their push before the tuesday primary. "action news" is following the movement of presidential candidates. hillary clinton campaign has been spending time in the philadelphia area. clinton is courting voters in connecticut this weekend. we have to foirchght what to do about -- figure out what to do about it we can't just watch it, and pray about it and worry about it we have to figure out what to do about it. clinton's most recent rallies have focused more on donald trump than her democratic rival. she said trump is flip flopping. bernie sanders is crisscrossing the northeast ahead of the tuesday primary. he he is meeting with voters in rhode island.

a huge crowd packed in delaware. we do well when the voter turn out is high, we do not not do well when the voter turnout is low. let us have the highest turnout in delaware history. sanders is trailing chnlt in the polls in -- clinton in the polls in pennsylvania anne delaware. some have dubbed the primary the acela primary referencing the northeastern states. donald trump comes to west chester university and wilks-berre tomorrow. he attempted to diminish the competition from ted cruz and john kasich. and now we're down to two, i call it 1 1/2, i now call it one, because i call it a half and a half, because they are both out.

it's one. donald trump is the leader in the pennsylvania polls of gop contenders. ted cruz is in indiana today it's a look ahead since that state doesn't hold a primary until next month. he took a jab at donald trump near pittsburgh. donald trump is a washington insider who has been supporting liberal democratic politicians for 40 years. cruz may not farewell in pennsylvania anne delaware, but his evangelical roads could help him in indiana. john kasich spent saturday in rhode island. he said clinton clinton and donald trump are promising way too many freebies. if we did all the free they wanted to, we would have 30 trillion instead of 19 trillion. kasich said it's time to get

millville, 45. by afternoon, it's short sleeves and shorts as the temperatures climb into the 60s and low 70s. satellite and radar, high pressure continues to dominate the pattern for everybody east of the mississippi river. high clouds to the north. showers pushing across the western great lake states. that's about it. if you're traveling across the lower 48. this could be your travel trouble spot up here. the same system is the one that reduces the showers and storms for us tuesday. the surface maps looks like, there's the warm front to the north. underneath it, the winds shift out of the south/southwest. sunny skies for the southeast, rain and thunderstorms across the high plains. the systems get closer to the region as we get into monday afternoon. it's tuesday when the warm front collapses and kicks off the showers and thunderstorms. future tracker 6, we'll skip over today and tomorrow, get into tuesday morning.

police officers were hurt when a -- three police officers were hurt when a five-alarm fire scorched an apartment building in the phoenix area. you can see the intense scene there. flames were at an apartment complex under construction and spread to a nearby home in the area. a firefighter had burns to his hands and three police officers suffered smoke inhalation. happening today, president obama has arrived in jearmt -- germany to discuss trade. it comes on the heels of his

injured and taken to lordes hospital in willingboro. there's an intense seven for the abductors who snatched a woman off a west philadelphia street. she suffered an terrifying ordeal before escaping. jeff chirico talked to neighbors who encountered the woman once she got away from her attackers. i heard the screaming. >> reporter: neighbors on the 5700 block of larchwood streets are stunned after hearing screams from a woman they would later learn was escaping her abductor. just a shirt on. >> reporter: police say the kidnapping happened at 49th and lancaster at 4:00 a.m. the woman was sexually and physically assaulted and bound with duct tape. police found a role -- roll of

it at the spot where the victim broke free. the guy was like she must have had her tied up, they was crying and everything. >> reporter: passers by helped the woman and called 911. a woman said her teeth was knocked loose and the kidnapper said he would kill her. the car sped off that way, there was like a lot of yelling. >> reporter: police described the suspect with a dark complex and dread locks, 23-year-old black man. you have to watch out for people who are closest to you, so everybody be safe. >> reporter: it's unclear how the victim was able to getaway. at this point the police have not released her condition. police are looking for one suspect, however, neighbors say they clearly saw two men hop in the car and speed away. at the special victims units in hunting park, cler cher channel

i was in the 80s and prince was with me when i grew up. he was one of the most important artist of my generation. he left such an influence on everyone from the area. >> reporter: many stunned that such a power house is gone. it's not easy to lose someone that you love and been a parth of our life for so long. it brings tears to my heart, to know that that's great artist is a genius that he was to die so i don't think. interesting outside the occasional cell phone playing purple rain there's no comiewsk playing -- music playing here rather than silence while his songs are on repeat around the world.
