shooting, during services at a montgomery county church. >> it the happened at keystone fellowship church in north wales, tonight police say the gun man is cooperating and has not been charged. >> "action news" reporter jeff chirico live at the scene with more, jeff? >> reporter: well, sarah investigators with the district attorney's office are still here piecing together what happen. people came here this morning for a bit of peace, prayer and left horrified, after an argument between church members turned deadly. >> shooting keystone fellowship church, one male inside shooting. >> reporter: chopper six was over the church on the 400 block of stump road as police investigate the late morning shooting. a church member 27 year-old robert braxton of montgomeryville was killed by another member. >> we were, worshiping and hear three different gunshots right have after and everybody kind of went on the floor and was riding. >> reporter: brianna summers say gunfire erupted as congregation stopped singing.

>> first thing that went through my mind i have a six year-old and single mom. i was upset and in the knowing whether i would see her again. >> there was a disturbance that escalated into an altercation, between two church members. >> reporter: district attorney kevin steele said that led one church member to shoot braxton at least once in the chest. he would not identify the gun man but says he is licensed to carry a concealed weapon. >> the investigation into this is ongoing, we will have to determine whether the shooting was justified, under the law. >> reporter: steele would not elaborate on how the shooting could be justified. he says he does not believe braxton was arm. by late afternoon mourners gathered near the church to pray. braxton's aunt tells "action news" that her nephew was full of life and laughter and she just can't understand how this could have happen. >> you don't go to church, to be killed. you know, just don't do that. he is a young man. he had his whole life a head of him.

>> reporter: steele says shooter was also injured and taken to the hospital. treated and released. we understand he is being questioned at police headquarters, as for the victim we are tell he and his parents attended this church, his father was actually a church musician. an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. we are live from montgomery township, jeff chirico for channel six "action news", walter. >> thanks, jeff. shocking store friday cedar brook section of philadelphia, man was shot in the head and killed while talking to a candidate for the pennsylvania state house. it happened at 3:30 this afternoon on the 1400 block of vernon road. investigators say a 21 year-old man was talking to chris rob, running for the seat in the 200 district when someone opened fire, hitting the victim, twice in the head. rob was not hurt. >> they were talking over there and next young man who works polls on election day, they were talking about the election. young man was interested in chris's campaign, candidacy for the 200th and he, handed him a piece of literature.

actually one of the people that was with him handed him literature. took his phone number. another young man came up behind him and shot him execution style in the head. >> now police say they may have surveillance footage of the shooting but so far no arrests have been made. in north philadelphia, 17 year-old was shot and killed earlier this morning. the it was just after 3:00 a.m. when officers received a report of a person with the gun on the 400 block of wyoming avenue. when they arrived witnesses told them victim had already been taken to st. christopher's hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. he was pronounced dead a short time later, no arrests have been made. and from our new jersey news room a man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman last night during a birth the day party. the shooting happened around 11:00 at a home on hooker street in riverside, burlington county. investigators say 42 year-old darren winningham is charge in the death of the 35 year-old nakita craft. willingham lives at the home and no word on the motive. a teenager has been

critically injured after being hit by a car in washington township, new jersey. investigators say she was trying to cross route 42 when it happened. a "action news" reporter christie ileto is live at cooper university hospital in camden with more, christie? >> reporter: walter, her family says, she's in critical condition in a medically induced coma and right now unclear whether he or that driver saw one another, before the impact. >> unaudible. >> she was struck by a car around 8:30. she's in extremely critical condition. >> washington township. >> reporter: washington township police say 15 year-old gavin connolly was crossing route 42 near green tree road saturday night the when she was hit by a car. the 21 year-old driver left the scene but returned ten minutes later. >> unaudible. >> reporter: gavin was rush to the hospital with critical injuries. >> gavin is the sweetest, most

presidential primary, and in pennsylvania, delaware and three other states. democrat hillary clinton spent the morning at a few philadelphia churches. at this baptist church in tie ohio nicetown she praised the move to put harriet tubman on the $20 bill. late today "action news" confirmed that clinton will spend primary night right here in philadelphia. senator bernie sanders rallied thousands of supporters in rhode island, the smallest state to vote on tuesday. sanders say voter id laws and other roadblocks keep many low income and other people from voting. she says voter turnout there could be a real transformation in america. sanders also appeared on several sunday talk shows. on the republican side, it was donald trump junior ruffling feathers saying ted cruz has to bribe delegates to win the nomination. the younger trump also said g.o.p. leaders would rather hand the white house over to

hillary clinton. crews are skipping tuesday's primary states aiming for indiana which votes next week. john kasich meanwhile made round on the sunday talk shows. a landmark church in philadelphia a marked its 185th anniversary with special guest today. archbishop charles chaput was principal celebrant for saint john the baptist church. this year the parish went over million-dollar goal in fund raising. campaign to repair the bell tower which can be far and wide in the city. and a hometown hero of the vietnam war was remembered today, in penns landing. a statue honoring corporal michael crestens was dedicated there. he received the medal of honor for wiping out three machine gun bunkers. he lost his life but saved many others in his unit.
