during sun's services at the keystone fellowship church in montgomeriville. killing 27-year-old robert braxton iii. sara bloomquist is live outside of the courthouse in norrisville. >> reporter: prosecutors interviewed more than 50 witnesses but could not find this as a reasonable case of self-defense. >> today at montgomery county district attorney announced the results of an extensive investigation and the charges now filed again the church member. mark storm was led into his arraignment in hand quufs this afternoon. the 46-year-old is charged with voluntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment. kevin steele described what dozens of witnesses saw happen in fellowship church in north wales on sunday. he says problems started when the victim robert bronxton became upset after sitting down for the 11:00 a.m. service.

>> a fellow church member sitting behind him touched his shoulder apparently told him he had taken an already occupied seat. they were able to calm braxton down. and storms who was standing at the back of the church with his wife and son came up and confronted braxton. >> he had a gun out escalating the situation. braxton then took a swing at the shooter punching him in the jaw and the defendant shoots the victim twice. >> braxton was hit twice in the chest area and died at the hospital. storm has no official capacity at the church and was never in law enforcement. but flashed a fake badge during the confrontation and is charged with voluntary manslaughter with the apparent intent to kill and firing a weapon in church filled with up to 300 people. this is the situation where a

gun is introduced into a fist fight. the victim has no weapon him and therefore it would be unreasonable for self-defense to lead to no charges in this. >> reporter: now steele says the fake badge is something that storm ordered online, if convicted on both charges, storms is looking at more than 20 years behind bars, braxton's cousin says that the family is praying for storm but glad that justice is being served and the funeral is set for saturday. >> thank you. today's rain is moving out of the area, slowly, but we have sporadic rain coming tomorrow than is stubborn so the sun will

police were called to k street at 12:30 after and encounter with a man police tried to stun him with a taser but pulled the prongs out and ran inside of a home. after a short standoff. the incident ended policefully and the man is in custody. darby police led a major drug bust. lawmen served over 100 arrest warrants and it turns out they hit one house too many. gray hall is live at darby police. what are the details on this? >> reporter: police say that any time you have an operation of this size mistakes can happen. they did target the home of the wrong individual and have pol guidesed for that, thankfully nobody was hurt and dozens of alleged drug dealers are off the street and they feel the community is safer. >> we'll keep coming at you. if you think your gang is big my

hospitality industry. kenney spoke about the added performance of the industry at the democratic national convention in july. the mayor said that progress needs to be made in the private and public sectors. also, in philadelphia, west catholic high school celebrated a generous gift from a former student today. leonard mazer and his family donated $5 million to the school. medser graduated in 1963 and went on to be a pharmaceutical executive. and west catholic celebrates their 100th anniversary this fall.

running into rain and also the northeast extension. a pretty solid area of rain, and there is more rain on the way, in fact. the next five days, these are the chances of rain and the driest day will be saturday when it looks like saturday night we have showers moving in and unfortunately this is future tracker 6 at 8:00 sunday morning, that is when the broad street run starts. this being said it shows heavy rain over us and we are three days out. and the trend is faster and faster and i'm hope that that trend continues and we can get that heavy rain in and out before the rain. i'll keep you posted. at this point it's looking wet. 48 in philadelphia, down from the high of 56, 47 in allentown and 49 in cape may and wilmington 48 degrees, satellite 6 along with action radar showing this band of steady rain is lifting to the north and severe weather in virginia we are not getting into that. but there is a secondary low,

and this is spinning in minneapolis, and this is drifting in late in the day tomorrow. that keeps us socked in with clouds. overnight tonight, future tracker 6 showing us with plenty of clouds and tomorrow morning the morning rush hour is not really wet but cloudy and temperatures holding steady and a few areas of showers and the evening commute looks wetter with showers developing at 5:00 and these linger into friday night. then we get into saturday, it was looking pretty good. and it looks like high pressure will not get higher to the south. we have a lot of low level moisture, the clouds will hang tough. if we are lucky we'll see a few peeks of sunshine and 65 degrees, we get a break in the wet weather and saturday night into sunday we have another low pressure moving in and this could bring us a real soaking in the morning. it's going to be a cold day.

the blue cross broad street run looks like rain, around 50 degrees for most of the race and a steady rain likely, you can't do anything about the weather but you can prepare for it and i posted tips on my facebook page on how to dress for running in the rain, it could make a dig difference, the exclusive accuweather forecast it is cloudy and damp and cool tomorrow with the high of only 56, saturday clouds and a few peeks of sunshine and 65 degrees and then the soaking rain arriving overnight into sunday, the high only 60 and then monday it looks like we have lingering showers with a high of 68 degrees, the clouds are still in control on tuesday but it does warm up to 70 degrees and wednesday and thursday, it warms up to 72, we'll see some peeks of sunshine but also a possibility of some thundershowers, but a gloomy forecast but the nice thing take your child to workday and my son luke came in today and we had
