while the infants mother attended to the other child and moore took the child from the stroller and ran out of the mall with the baby. the alleged abductor was royced and they called police and went to her home and found the baby here. shortly after her arrest. investigators said she told them she had been pregnant back in february but the baby did not survive or live long and when she held the infant in the mall and all the feelings came back and was sorry she took the child, that was shortly after the arrest a few months ago. but her attorney said he would not say if he she was ever present, but that she had a baby shower with 100 people in attendance. her attorney says she is getting mental health counseling.

"action news" reporter, gray hall will have more from ocean county coming up tonight at 6:00. turning to the race for the white house now. now that donald trump is the last republican standing the focus is turning to november and the general election. it looks like trump has to carve his own path without the support of the gop. at least four republican heavy hitters are sitting out of the convenience and this election cycle all together.

out. karen traverers, channel 6 "action news." >> new at 5:00 tonight. philadelphia police are looking for the man behind a violence robbery in port richmond, the suspect walked into the store and when behind the counter and demanded money and hit the clerk with a screwdriver and the clerk -- anyone with information is asked to call philadelphia police. also, new at 5:00, there is a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and convince after a deadly hit and run in camden. tia walker was killed over a week ago after being hit in the police chase. she was crossing at newton and they were pursued by camden county police. the suspects fled the scene on foot and are still at large. police in buck county are

investigating an armed robbery at an acme store on new falls road in levittown, it's not clear what was taken but nobody was hurt. a southwest philadelphia interests section is closed for several days after a water main broke and flooded it out. it all started at 6:00 this morning at the corner of 63rd and eastwick where officials say a car crashed into a sinkhole. annie mccormick has the story. >> reporter: both from the air and ground you can see where water covered the entire intersection at of and and eastwick, when fire crews responded all they saw was a beat up road and water to make this road impassable. a car dipped into a sinkhole and that started a chain reaction underground to cause a water main to break. >> we had to determine which main was broken and identified it as a 12 inch broken main. >> look at the damage left

behind at 63rd and eastwick because of the water main break, you can see where a portion of the asphalt actually buckled. >> it's a headache for a while commuters had a headache when they realize theed it was too late. crews worked quickly to shut the water off and they will spend the bulk of the day to clean it up and clean this spot and they hope it will not impact water supply. >> this has happened before and we have water issues and we complained about it, and now it's happening again. >> some residents complain this intersection is a problem spot for water main breaks. and the city is looking into it. >> we find the main is routinely breaking we'll have to go through and put that in the process for full repair. >> in southwest philadelphia, annie mccormick, channel 6

"action news." >> we are learning more about the road rage shooting incident on the blue route near the schuylkill expressway late this afternoon. it happened on the northbound blue route in west conshohocken township. police say a man inside of a dark blue lincoln town car, no one was hurt but at least one bullet hit the car and police have the car that was shot and are still looking for the shooter. and have more details as they become available to us. thursday night and matt pellman is in the traffic center how are we looking. >> happy cinco de mayo to you. westbound into center city the downside of the bridge at the constitution center there is an overturned truck blocking the left lanes and we are jammed at the westbound bend. stick with the betsy ross or

a massive evacuation effort continues tonight as this wild fire is burning out of control in western canada.

so far more than 210,000 acre are burned in alberta canada and they want to move vevacuees to another location. more than 80,000 people are moving because of this blaze and fortunately nobody has been hurt. lawmakers in michigan have approved a 500 million restructuring plan to help detroits public schools, it will help pay public school teachers and pay the district off of debt. the teachers held a two day sickout this week after learning they would not be paid this summer with emergency funding from the state. the fda finally laid down rules on electronic cigarettes, many are aimed at keeping them out of the hans of teenagers. ali gorman has the details at the big board. >> reporter: up until now

e-cigarettes are not regulated and now the government is regulating, no one under 18 yeared old will be allowed to buy e-cigarettes or tobacco products in person or online and everyone 26 and under need a photo i.d. and free samples will be banned and new warnings will be added. everything for sale now has to be reviewed. >> in order to stay on the market, manufacturers of regulated products will be required to show what is in the product and that this he are suitable for the market place. >> and the fda will review new products before they hit the shelves. use of e-cigarettes has increased nine fold, it targets young people with the ads and flavors nicotine. they would like to see a ban on the flavors as well.

we know that sitting too long is not good for our health but do the trendy standing desks really help. one study says it can but it's not that simple. >> just having the desk did not decrease sitting time but when workers gotten couragement to stand more they lost a little fat and gained some muscle but it's important to move throughout the day and not just stand. >> the data we have is clear. if you do physical activity, 10,000 steps a day is the ideal goal where you reduce metabolic problems, if you do that -- it's really beneficial. >> reporter: some experts suggest setting an alarm to remind you every hour to get up and walk around for a few minutes. many activity trackers can be set up to give you a nudge if are you not moving enough.

soaking rain on the way tomorrow. sky 6 hd taking a look at the ben franklin bridge and matt pellman tells me there is an accident at the base of bridge heading into center city to do be careful. a thick cloud deck today but a few sprinkles, 57 in philadelphia currently allentown 58 and cape may 52 and wilmington 53. yet another cool day, four of the first five days in may temperatures stuck in the 50s. and this is why, the low pressure that continues to spin, it's showing well on water vapor, you can see the spin right now, currently it's over western north carolina. there is a coastal low that are form and that will bring us steady rain and heavy at times tomorrow. satellite 6 along with action radar showing the moisture is beginning to form. here is the low pressure and that will really workup to the north and this is what will pull

late today governor chris christie shared hi thoughts about it. and more on a south street bar brawl captured on video. and a moving tribute to a man spending the last decade protecting neglected animals in our region. and a mess at the base of ben franklin bridge heading into philadelphia, that is where a tractor trailer is flipped over on its side. chopper 6 hd was over the scene, this happened three hours ago and the big rig is blocking the two left lanes, according to the delaware port authority, the tractor trailer did not spill its cargo but cannot move the truck until 6:30 tonight, an hour from now. all the west traffic will be diverted to the sixth street exit. lets get the latest around the ben franklin from matt pellman now. >> we have seen it go downhill.

on the ben franklin bridge, the westbound jams from the jersey side of the river on into eighth and vine. the truck accident is ahead occupying the two left lanes and we told you it will only get worse because all of these cars will be forced locally into old city via fifth street, you won't be able to get to the vine or 95 from the westbound side of the ben franklin bridge. so westbound betsy ross or westbound walt whitman better for your travels into philadelphia this evening and a gas main break past kings highway. you see a couple of the right lanes are blocked and 70 eastbound is jammed solid heading towards it. and bear, delaware, a crash by the royal farms at 40, get on the old baltimore pike to get around that and still a crash on 41 slow speeds there by the hill top crab house, use 82 as an

an air marshall left behind in the bathroom. they found it in his work closet and he is charged with theft and weapons violations. it was three weeks ago today that a teen died after being assaulted in her school bathroom. charges are still not filed in the case. amy joyner francis was attacked by three girls on april 21st and she was rushed to the but could not be saved. detectives say they were going through the evidence and will go through the process. police need your help catching an armed thief that stormed through a deli and demanding money, this was taken on elm wood avenue. the suspect walked in and pointed a gun and a clerk and took money from the register. police want to track down the man in this video, witnesses

said he tried to return items without a receipt at the family dollar store. when the clerk refused to return them the man got angry and snatched a $20 and exchanged words and walked out there. the suspect ran off. two men are facing criminal charges after attacking and robbing a disabled elderly man. a story our delaware newsroom is following since march. stephan rivera and isaac cha chasenwere arrested this week. when the victim got near west park place, he was grabbed from behind and his wallet was taken. the man wasn't hurt and investigators looked at surveillance video from the sunoco video and identified the

suspects. also from our delaware newsroom, an 80-year-old man is in critical condition because of a crash in wilmington. at philadelphia pike and edgemore road. the elderly man's car was hit by a pickup truck and rescuers had to cut him out of his vehicle, it's unclear if any charges will be filed. a leak at a bucks county plant -- joint municipal plant in tully town, a chemical used to treat the water started spilling into a 9,000 gallon tank, residents were told to close their windows and doors and it did not hurt the water supply or disrupt service. a woman burned in a fast moving fire at a german townhome remains in the hospital tonight. this is the scene at godfrey

texas spend hours battling a massive warehouse blaze. the four alarmer triggered explosions and prompted fears that hazardous materials pay have been released. it involves three structures and forced the evacuation of a nearby elementary school. johnny manziel showed up at a dallas court today for his first appearance in a domestic violence case and is facing a charge that carries a year in jail and a $250 fine. this after his ex-girlfriend accused him of threatening to kill her and hitting her. today the judge ordered manziel to stay away from his ex-girlfriend. world news with david muir as more on johnny manziel. you can watch it at 6:30 following "action news" at 6:00.

the phillies had an afternoon game today. it did not go according as planned. the phils dropped two in the series. brandon moss goes deep and his seventh of the season, 1-0 st. louis and now colton murray pitching and drives one to the left an automatic double. the phillies trail 4-0. and moving into the night and two on for brandon rough and he cannot get it done. what is sam bradford worries about. that is the question that espn analyst ron jaworsky asking.

on top of it this go around we have high tides of concern. this specifically for atlantic city, but all point as long the shore, minor to moderate coastal flooding especially into tomorrow. every high tide as we move forward now through saturday will cause some issues. tonight at 7:13 p.m., and on friday evening at 8:04 p.m. as we look at future tracker the rain intensifies tomorrow morning and the rush is on the very wet side with temperatures really raw, only in the upper 40s about a half inch to inch of rain, as we go through the day tomorrow, the band of heavy rain pushing philadelphia into the western suburbs by 1:00 in the afternoon and as we get into the afternoon, the intensity of the rain will begin to lessen as it moves away from our viewing area with temperatures in the 50s. the evening rush will fair better despite there will be a few showers around especially in pennsylvania. and then at 9:00 saturday morning, still locked in the

clouds, not steady rain but showers around and still spots saturday afternoon but you see the peeks of sun returning on saturday. rain heavy at times tomorrow and 56 and a few breaks of sun but the clouds dominate on saturday and warmer 68 and wake up on mothers day morning on sunday, you'll say the clouds are around again but by the afternoon it's brighter with temperatures responding to around 70 degrees with strong winds out of the northwest. and then it's nice seasonable sunny and monday 72 and turns unsettled by warm in the upper 70s tuesday, and wednesday with a pop-up downpour or thunderstorm. and looking okay on thursday with a temperature of 73 degrees. so sunday afternoon is the place to be for the sun to return. >> thank you. much "action news" when we return, we'll take a break.

there is a search for the gunman on northbound 476 it happened in west conshohocken. lawmen say the shot was fired from a dark blue lincoln town car with tinted windows and a red emblem. a blue mitsubishi lancer took a bullet to the drivers side door

and the driver was not hurt. a convicted killer and escapee continues to elude police in ocean county new jersey. arthur buckel is still on the run after escaping in winslow township from state prison. he was spotted yesterday in barnegat township. the question is he still there or has he moved on. gray hall is live now. >> reporter: police say that the fugitive is no longer a threat and he appears to have moved on and this community is a bit safer. still no sign of arthur buckel he escaped from bay side prison in camden county, new jersey, on tuesday. and barnegat police say they are confident that the fugitive has left to
