was 20 hours in the planning leading up to the attack when school started for the day. two girls face coconspiracy charged here because according to the affidavit they did not hit the victim but the one that allegedly did faced eight years in prison. there is no answer at the home of the student that faces the charges. >> it's sadden to see these young girls in these types of situation. >> it's tragic for both families. for all the families that has it going on. i feel sorry for everybody. >> reporter: sharrie, one of the girls facing the coconspiracy charges has been released to the custody of her mother and is under house arrest however. she had no previous arrest record i might point out. we continue to withhold the names of all three, they are all

minors. vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. a 14-year-old student says she was sexually assaulted inside of sayer high school inwest philadelphia. a freshman girl says a freshman boy attacked her in a stairwell. >> there is surveillance of the two students in question walking down the hallway and also exiting the building, that is what we provided to philadelphia police and they are using it for their investigation. >> well that boy in question is suspended pending the outcome of the investigation by the special victims unit. meantime the girl is offered support and counselors are on hand forest of the student body. it's primary day for two states. west virginia and nebraska. but neither candidate is

campaigning in either state. 29 delegates are up forrer grabs for the democrats. bernie sanders is leading the polls, but sanders is campaigning in california and hillary clinton is with voters in kentucky. that is ahead of that state's primary coming up next tuesday. now, for the republicans 70 total gop delegates are on the line in west virginia and nebraska today. trump is off the campaign trail but still inching closer to that nomination. but today's voting is being overshadowed by a new quinnipiac poll released this morning. it shows just how a general election showdown would look in three battleground states and the numbers show closer than expected in florida, ohio and here in pennsylvania. in a projected clinton-trump

delaware and southern new jersey, every now and then a pop of yellow with a burst of moderate rainfall. but this is sliding east across dover and sea isle city and cape may. as we look at this beautiful shot this morning, a few photos on my facebook page. this one was from christie, from cooper hospital, you see the early eastern sunshine facing to the west and showers passing through a rainbow over center city itself. a beautiful start to start this tuesday, despite a dreary day. 53 in reading and 54 in lancaster, nobody at 60 degrees at the present time. this just marks another may day, with below average temperatures. we have 9 days this month out of 10 with below normal temperatures, only on sunday are we right at normal at 71

degrees, we are down 5 degrees or so below normal for the month. if this continues this could be the first month in philadelphia over the last 13 months that temperatures were below average. we have a warm stretch over the last year. as we look at satellite and radar, a front draped over the region and that extends to the ohio valley and great lakes. and that system really not going to move all that much. over the next 24 hours, it's cloudy and damp in spots overnight tonight with a shower or two. especially south, 48 in millville and 40s in the northwestern suburbs. we'll look at future tracker 6, 6:30 tomorrow morning, the clouds are around and scattered showers as we go into the afternoon tomorrow little changes, maybe some brightening the farther east you are from philadelphia. the thicker cloud cover north and west with scattered showers. and thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. we start to thin out the

clouds and thursday is our best chance of seeing that bad boy right there across much of the area. as we look at the four day at 4:00, a lot of clouds and showers tomorrow but not a washout, warmer at 69 degrees. and it's going to be warm a decent day, but friday rain arrives and even a thunderstorm in the afternoon. it's a pretty wet day at 72 and saturday starts dry with clouds in the afternoon and scattered showers and a thunderstorm on saturday afternoon of 72 degrees. we'll see on the seven day in the next half hour if we can eke out a little more sun than that. >> lets go it. thanks adam. coming up at 4:30, new developments about a terrifying accident inside of a philadelphia museum. and a man on a bicycle is hit by a car and the driver just kept ongoing, more on the early morning hit and run. >> and if you have considered

more surgery at this time but his medical costs are part of the $7.2 million settlement agreed upon earlier this month. the video is as graphic as the injuries suffered by the victim. >> he broke badly both of his legs and hip and both of his arms badly. >> attorney larry is talking about his client, a local efficiency engineer who was nearly killed after falling through the glass attic floor at the rodam museum. those on the main gralry floor were absolutely stunned. shocked to see a man falling 38 feet through the glass ceiling. >> he was in the attic inspected light fixtures when the floor gave way. he survived but seen in this video still deals with physical

issues and at one point used a service dog to do mundane things like remove his socks. a trial was to get underway when a $7.2 million settlement was decided upon. >> he is doing the very best he can do. he is every day fighting through it. putting his best foot forward and working towards living a normal life. >> reporter: and with that said, his injuries go way beyond broken arms and legs and in fact suffered brain damage as well. they are making sure no one has access to the glass ceiling in the future. walter perez, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. killer sent her a message before and after the crime. authorities haved juan c camacho. >> that he sent a facebook message asking how to win her daughter back. and then he sent her another haunting message. >> he text me and said i'm sorry i killed your daughter. she is a good woman. always happy and bringing the family together. >> well, rodriguez's four children were actually home when she was killed and they are staying with other family members and he is charged with murder, rape and other charges. police have released a name of a woman founded inside of an

abandoned home in kensington. they say that paula mccafferty died of stab wounds. they found her body in a vacant house in roseville on saturday. an anonymous threat caused a lockdown at conwell eagan high school. the action cam was on the scene as police searched the property. school administrators say they take threats like this seriously and police did not find anything and cleared the lockdown before 1:00 this afternoon. adam joseph is back now and we see the weather outside we have seen it before. >> like a bad deja vu, an ongoing nightmare. you wake up every morning. >> get it out of our system now and the rest of the summer it's sunny. >> i'll go for that. on stormtracker 6 live double scan not everyone is seeing the scats showered, mainly south of philadelphia, brighter and

days now this month out of 10 where highs have been below normal in the afternoon. 53 allentown and 54 in lancaster, and 56 in cape may, the northeasterly wind getting us into trouble with the cloud cover yet again. as we look at satellite and radar, we have the frontal boundary drapes over our region and high pressure is in canada and supplying sun in northern new england with temperatures touching 70 degrees, it goes back to low pressure in chicago and the ohio valley where they are dealing with some severe weather pushing through and this particular area of clouds and showers really not going to budge or move as we go into the middle of the week. tonight cloudy and damp in spots and a shower or two. 40s in most of the suburbs, 52 for sent steer but hey if you look at the temperatures for tomorrow. not too bad. upper 60s for philadelphia lower 70s to the north where there will be brightening to the sky
