incident. sara bloomquist is live outside of the special victims unit with the details. >> reporter: detectives here are reviewing the surveillance video from inside and outside of the high school. they are interviewing the freshman boy and girl involved. they have not made a determination if criminal charges should be filed. >> students here at sayer high were stunned to hear of allegations of sexual assault inside of their own school. school officials say that a 14-year-old freshman girl reported being sexually assaulted in a stairwell shortly before dismissal. >> i am scared to go to school. i'm scared. >> the alleged attacker is a freshman boy, suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. police say there are surveillance cameras inside and outside of the school. but none captured what happened in the stairwell. only what happened before and after. >> there is surveillance of the

two students in question walking down the hallway and also exiting the building. that is what we have provided to philadelphia police and they are using it for their investigation. >> students said the hallways are flooded in the moments when the bell rings but they clear out fast. >> people are going their different ways, it's quick though, everybody clears out quick. >> the victim is being offered support and there are school counselors and psychologists on hand. >> they are always ready for students for any issue if they feel unsafe in the neighborhood and stressed over their school environment. >> the police say they can't really tell if the victim is being cohersed in the stairwell, no criminal charges are filed and a letter is expected to go home to parents explaining the on going investigation.

university open. the oldest historically black university is threatening to close. they are discussing how is the school can get more than books state funding. lawmakers in the delaware house are working on a bill to define misconduct for a divorce. they describe it as a behavior so destructive, that the person filing for the divorce cannot be expected to continue in the relationship. examples of adultery or habitual drug use and alcohol would be grounds for divorce. major airports around the country are considering dumping the tsa in favor of private security firms. this from experts that lines at check points around the country are getting longer right before summer. the tsa asked congress for more

a tree found on cooper landing road and brought down the utilitiy pole and an electrical transition line. >> and police spent time searching a school today. school officials were told of an anonymous threat after school had started. that threat warned of a possible shooting. as a precaution the school was put on lock down and they did not find anything. we have an update on a deadly crash in depford township, new jersey, that claimed the life of a new woman. criminal charges will not be filed in the crash because the victim died before she was hit. annabell was first reported hit by normal car while trying to find help but investigators say she was thrown on the roadway and died from her injuries.

deputies are looking for a suspect that targeted another person on a south philadelphia sidewalk last week. this is the video from fourth and katherine streets back on may 4th, investigators say it was after midnight when the armed suspect ran up behind the victim and demands his wallet and phone. the suspect then ran off and got into a car that was waiting nearby. the victim was shaken but not hurt. the montgomery county sheriff's office reached an accomplishment. they are reaccredited. they were presented by a document here at a ceremony at the courthouse in norristown and this is the department's first accreditation. congratulations. time for an update on the highways tuesday night. matt pellman is in the traffic center. >> we have to give thanks to the construction crews working so

trenton is considering expanding their light rail system into the downtown area. they release said the finding of an economic study finding benefits of extending the line to job and wage growth. the $500 million rail project extended the downtown with the trenton transit center. >> think about the job creation it does for this region as a whole and economic drivers that really brings to this whole region. i think it's a win win. >> they say they'll share the study's funding with lawmakers to get the funding needed to
