incident. sara bloomquist is live outside of the special victims unit with the details. >> reporter: detectives here are reviewing the surveillance video from inside and outside of the high school. they are interviewing the freshman boy and girl involved. they have not made a determination if criminal charges should be filed. >> students here at sayer high were stunned to hear of allegations of sexual assault inside of their own school. school officials say that a 14-year-old freshman girl reported being sexually assaulted in a stairwell shortly before dismissal. >> i am scared to go to school. i'm scared. >> the alleged attacker is a freshman boy, suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. police say there are surveillance cameras inside and outside of the school. but none captured what happened in the stairwell. only what happened before and after. >> there is surveillance of the

two students in question walking down the hallway and also exiting the building. that is what we have provided to philadelphia police and they are using it for their investigation. >> students said the hallways are flooded in the moments when the bell rings but they clear out fast. >> people are going their different ways, it's quick though, everybody clears out quick. >> the victim is being offered support and there are school counselors and psychologists on hand. >> they are always ready for students for any issue if they feel unsafe in the neighborhood and stressed over their school environment. >> the police say they can't really tell if the victim is being cohersed in the stairwell, no criminal charges are filed and a letter is expected to go home to parents explaining the on going investigation.

bus before the accident and the bus driver stopped and waited for help and the man was pronounced dead at the hospital. police in montgomery county are looking for a serial burglar, the whitpain township police department released a picture hoping to identify the suspect. they say the man has burglarized several homes, if you recognize him please call police. work continue as long a busy stretch of road in township. causing several road closures and now a fix is underway. john rawlins has the story tonight. >> reporter: you are looking at a solution, 30,000 pound section of high density pipe being pulled into place, the solution to this problem. three times since 2012, a large underground concrete sewer line

failed in valley form park, allowing millions of gallons of waste to spill into the creek, the owner of township -- >> that is where we are today. replacing the 3.5 miles of underground pipeline. >> the pipeline built in the 70s, runs through valley forge park and beneath the schuylkill river and to the treatment plant. and now they are installing this plastic pike and the diameter is compressed to be pull nood the old concrete pipe to create a leak resistant liner. >> the township says the relining is quicker and cheaper an other options and should last a long time. >> the pipeline that will be going in is expected to last 50 plus years and we expect to get

a tree found on cooper landing road and brought down the utilitiy pole and an electrical transition line. >> and police spent time searching a school today. school officials were told of an anonymous threat after school had started. that threat warned of a possible shooting. as a precaution the school was put on lock down and they did not find anything. we have an update on a deadly crash in depford township, new jersey, that claimed the life of a new woman. criminal charges will not be filed in the crash because the victim died before she was hit. annabell was first reported hit by normal car while trying to find help but investigators say she was thrown on the roadway and died from her injuries.

deputies are looking for a suspect that targeted another person on a south philadelphia sidewalk last week. this is the video from fourth and katherine streets back on may 4th, investigators say it was after midnight when the armed suspect ran up behind the victim and demands his wallet and phone. the suspect then ran off and got into a car that was waiting nearby. the victim was shaken but not hurt. the montgomery county sheriff's office reached an accomplishment. they are reaccredited. they were presented by a document here at a ceremony at the courthouse in norristown and this is the department's first accreditation. congratulations. time for an update on the highways tuesday night. matt pellman is in the traffic center. >> we have to give thanks to the construction crews working so
