sprinkle or shower. the call from accuweather, mostly cloudy conditions, windy and chilly today a vigil around, high -- sprinkle around, highs around 60 degrees, most of us stuck in the 50s. when i come back we'll talk about the chilly changes in the seven-day forecast. new this morning, from bensalem bucks county, a fire at the lincoln motel has killed a person. investigators say it looked like someone set the fire on purpose. the blaze broke out around 2:30 a.m. when firefighters arrived they found smoke pouring from rooms 103 and 104. officers were called in the early morning hours for a fire. the fire appears suspicious in nature. at this time we have a confirmed victim inside. firefighters rescued three other people. officials have not released the name of the person who died and they not said if they made an

arrest. new this morning, a young woman is in critical condition after being shot at least 6 times on a philadelphia street. the action cam was at the scene in the tioga section of the city. shots rang out at 1:00 a.m. police found 30 shell casings on the ground. the victim is 22 years old. two men were injured trying to escape the gunfire. they are in the hospital. no word on their conditions. no arrests. police are looking for the gunman who robbed a sports bar this center city this morning. the action cam was on the scene on the 200 block of south broad street. the suspect walked into the bar around 12:30 a.m. wearing a mask and demanded money from the manager. after getting the cash, the man ran off. no shots were fired and there were no injuries. detectives are looking at surveillance video to try to identify the gunman.

if you're just waking up with us this morning, many students are stunned by a car accident that killed two teens on the way home from the prom. this happened on the day the school was dealing with another tragedy, jeff chirico has more. >> reporter: photos of the two young women are being circulate ed of the two who died after the car they were in veered off 49 around a curve in morris river township and hit a tree at 3:45 a.m.

i talked to the three boys and they went to ocean, they were on their way back and the girls were following the boys and they they saw their lights go like off the road. i was totally devastated. >> reporter: the bridgeton school district superintendent said the tragedy comes the same day for another student who died in a car crash less than two weeks ago. we have a lot of support from the chaplin chaplain, and cumberland guidance center. i have a 17-year-old her prom was last week and i am thankful and blessed that she made it home. >> reporter: as of last night, one girl was in critical condition and one girl in stable condition. new jersey state police are

school packed their bags and headed to kenya. they sent us pictures that we wanted to share with you this morning. this shows gla students taking part in school. they discussed similarities and differences in education and what their life is like in their different countries. you can see the pictures here the happiness on the faces of the gla students. they are visiting an orphanage and united nations facility. they did not forget their tech devices. they are on the other side of the world, but clearly plugged in to stay in touch with the family and "action news" they will return from kenya next week. how awesome is that? it never happened for me when i was in school. pretty cool. >> reporter: we want to the zoo. let's talk about the forecast. >> reporter: i can guarantee you it's going to be warmer there than here.

life at a traffic accident outside of atlanta. they were riding motorcycles on friday in peach tree city when they came upon the crash. they stopped arena helped those in the accident until police arrived. star struck residents whipped out their cell phones. it looked like he it was trying to help everybody, calm everybody, take over the situation. there were serious injuries. the tv series is filmed in the atlanta area. there is a safety warning for all you parents, 180,000 pacifiers are being recalled. there are concerns that children could choke on part of the plastic covers of the light-weight pacifiers made by munchkins. several styles and colors are part of the recall. there's more information at 6abc.com in the consumer

the inmates find it education all and therapeutic. it teaches the inmates important skills like listening and communicating and working as a team. a dog saved a girl from a rattlesnake. >> reporter: 7-year-old molly and her family dog haus are inseparable. last wednesday molly was out in the back yard with haus. suddenly the dog came up on a diamondback rattlesnake. haus leaped into action. he was holding his ground, next thing we know there's blood and he was limping and crying. >> reporter: the rattler bit haus three times in the leg, but never got to the little girl.

he was rushed to the a vet clinic where he underwent emergency treatment with an antivenom. for the last four days it's touch and go. through it all, molly has been there by his side. the treatment he is getting is expensive over $9,000 so far. the family set up a go fund me site. many came pouring in $50,000 so far. the family said they do not need anymore donations. haus is getting better everyday, the best of care, and large dose of love from a little girl. what an incredible story. haus, two thuments up. a -- thumbs up. a beautiful dog. we'll be right back. ♪

opportunity pilot was killed during an air show in atlanta. the plane crossed paths with another plane yesterday afternoon and went up to perform a man today the ntsb is investigating. it was a heartbreaking scene in norristown as two children were laid to rest who were 6 and 11 careers old. they died in a fire in norristown a week ago. investigators believe the blaze started accidentally, two adults were also killed. a mother says police know who killed her son about, enthusiastic need more evidence before they can make an arrest. she is asking for your help.
